Christian Hospital

As president of Christian Hospital, Ron McMullen leads a 493-bed acute-care medical center in north St. Louis County. Christian Hospital is noted for its excellence in heart services, cardiothoracic surgery, emergency medicine, neurosurgery, cancer treatment, psychiatric services and substance abuse programs, radiology, urology, pulmonology and radiation oncology. In addition, McMullen oversees Northwest HealthCare, a facility six miles west of Christian Hospital that offers the community 24-hour emergency care, a variety of outpatient diagnostic and imaging services (such as MRI, CT, general radiology, ultrasound and women's services), and a breathing center and sleep lab. Northwest HealthCare offers care in a convenient setting to complement hospital services. McMullen served as president of Alton Memorial Hospital from 1986 to 2007. He originally joined Alton Memorial as an assistant administrator in 1983. McMullen previously served as vice president of St. Anthony's Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida, and as an administrative resident at Pontiac General Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan. McMullen completed his bachelor's degree at the University of Missouri-St. Louis, then earned a master's degree in hospital and health care administration from St. Louis University. He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He serves on the board of the Illinois Hospital Association and is a past-president of IHA's Region 4. He also holds board memberships with the local Headstart program and the United Way chapters in Alton, Ill. and St. Louis.

Anil Henry, a member of Brookmeade Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, Nashville, Tennessee, was appointed to serve the Synodical Board of Health Services of the Church of North India in 1997. He serves as the medical director of the Christian Hospital in Mungeli.

Shu Jane Yu has worked with Christian Hospital for more than 30 years. She has been a certified diabetes educator since 1990, and the lead dietitian for the Food and Nutrition Department since 2000. Shu Jane also manages the Clinical Dietitian Department.

Teresa Henry, a member of Brookmeade Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, Nashville, Tennessee, was appointed to serve the Synodical Board of Health Services of the Church of North India in 1997. She is an anesthesiologist at the Christian Hospital in Mungeli.
