Andrew McElwee, Jr. is executive vice president, Chubb & Son, and chief operating officer of Chubb Personal Insurance. He assumed his current responsibilities in June 2002. He is responsible for the profitability and growth of Chubb's personal insurance strategic business unit worldwide. Mr. McElwee joined Chubb in 1997 as senior vice president, mergers and acquisitions. He served as the company's international field operations manager from 2000 to 2002. Mr. McElwee was previously an executive vice president with Bellemead Development Corporation and prior to that he was employed by Morgan Stanley & Co. Incorporated and Dewey Ballantine LLP. He graduated from Davidson College in 1977 with a Bachelor of Arts degree and has a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Virginia School of Law. He has served on the Board of Trustees of Davidson College and is currently a member of the Board of Trustees of the American Folk Art Museum and the Board of Directors of the International Tennis Hall of Fame and Museum.

Dino Robusto was appointed executive vice president and chief administrative officer, The Chubb Corporation, in June 2008. He previously served as chief claim officer, a position he held since January 2006. Mr. Robusto is responsible for overseeing the claims, information technology, human resources, communications, administrative services and external affairs departments. Mr. Robusto had served as New York brokerage zone officer since January 2004. Prior to that, he held positions in Chubb Commercial Insurance as chief field operations officer from 2001 to 2004 and as outside U.S. field operations manager from 2000 to 2001. He managed Chubb's Multinational Resource Group from 1995 to 2000. Mr. Robusto also held several positions in Chubb's Toronto and Montreal offices. He joined Chubb's Montreal office in 1986 as a commercial lines underwriter. Mr. Robusto holds a Bachelors degree in commerce, finance and economics from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and he is a graduate of The Wharton Business School Executive Management Program.

Harold L. Morrison, Jr. was appointed executive vice president and chief global field officer, The Chubb Corporation, in June 2008. He previously served as U.S. field operations manager for Chubb & Son, a position he held since 2003. Mr. Morrison previously served as Chubb's New York brokerage zone officer from 2001 to 2003, and he managed the Northwest regional office in Seattle for five years starting in 1996. He has also held managerial roles in Chubb's Department of Financial Institutions (DFI), both in the home office and in the field as the Northern zone DFI manager. Mr. Morrison has also held leadership positions for operations in San Jose, San Francisco and Chubb's Warren, NJ, home office. He joined Chubb in 1984. Mr. Morrison earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from Duke University.

Maureen A. Brundage joined Chubb in 2005 as executive vice president and general counsel of The Chubb Corporation. She assumed the additional position of chief ethics officer, responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of Chubb's legal compliance and ethics program, in June 2008. Ms. Brundage was previously with the law firm of White & Case LLP, where she headed the firm's global securities practice. She began as an associate at White & Case in 1981 and was made a partner in 1989. A summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Fordham University in New York, Ms. Brundage spent her junior year studying at the London School of Economics. She earned her law degree at the New York University School of Law, where she was editor-in-chief of its Annual Survey of American Law.

Ned I. Gerstman is an executive vice president and chief domestic investment officer for The Chubb Corporation. He is responsible for domestic investments. Mr. Gerstman joined Chubb's investment department in 1987 as a senior portfolio manager. Before joining Chubb, Mr. Gerstman worked for the Continental Corporation from 1985-1987, where he was responsible for life insurance investments and strategy as well as managing Continental's Government Securities Mutual Fund. Prior to that, he worked for Chase Investors Management Corporation where he was responsible for quantitatively based fixed income portfolio management, structuring liability funding solutions for Fortune 500 pension funds. Mr. Gerstman currently serves as the chairman of the investment committees of both New York Property Insurance and the American Nuclear Insurance Company. Mr. Gerstman studied electrical engineering at Cornell University and received a B.S. in finance from New York University.

Paul J. Krump was appointed executive vice president and chief underwriting officer, The Chubb Corporation, in June 2008. He is responsible for Chubb Commercial Insurance, Chubb Personal Insurance, Chubb Specialty Insurance and Surety. Mr. Krump previously served as chief operating officer for Chubb Commercial Insurance, a position he held since 2000. Mr. Krump joined Chubb as an underwriting trainee in 1982. He held various commercial lines underwriting positions until 1986, when he became an executive protection and international underwriter in Dusseldorf, Germany. Mr. Krump returned to the U.S. in 1989 and held several positions in Chubb's Department of Financial Institutions, including Northern zone manager and U.S. underwriting manager. In 1994, he rejoined Chubb's commercial lines underwriting and held several management positions. Mr. Krump has a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration from St. John's University. He has also attended executive management programs at IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland; the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL; and the U.S. Army War College/Columbia Business School.

Richard G. Spiro joined The Chubb Corporation on October 1, 2008 as executive vice president and chief financial officer. Mr. Spiro previously served as managing director and head of North America for the Financial Institutions Group for Citigroup Global Markets Inc. where he worked from 1999 to 2008. During his tenure at Citigroup, Mr. Spiro also served as co-head of insurance and asset management investment banking. From 1998 to 1999, Mr. Spiro was managing director and head of U.S. insurance investment banking for the Financial Services Group at Lehman Brothers. Mr. Spiro also served at Credit Suisse First Boston from 1986 to 1998 where he was managing director and chief operating officer for the global insurance group in the Financial Institutions Group. He attended Princeton University and graduated magna cum laude in 1986 with an A.B. degree in Economics. He is a Director of Harbor Point Limited.

Janice Tomlinson is responsible for all international field operations for the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies. Ms. Tomlinson joined Chubb in 1973 as a commercial underwriter. She managed several underwriting departments in Chubb's branch offices in New Haven, Connecticut; Westchester County, New York, and New York City before managing the Westchester branch from 1986-1990. During 1990, she became worldwide director of human resources and in 1995 was named Canadian zone officer, chairman and president of Chubb Canada. Ms. Tomlinson assumed her current position in December 2003. Ms. Tomlinson earned a B.A. degree from Marymount College of Kansas. She has also attended the Yale University Executive Management Program, the Harvard University Senior Human Resources Strategic Management Program and Chubb's Global Executive Program.

Sunita Holzer joined Chubb as worldwide human resources officer in 2003 with responsibility for all worldwide human resource functions. She was appointed to her current position as executive vice president, Chubb & Son, in September 2007. Prior to joining Chubb, Ms Holzer was vice president, Human Resources, for GE Capital Corporate. She has also held positions at American Express and at AIG, where her responsibilities included human resources strategy, compensation, leadership development, employee relations, diversity and succession planning. Ms. Holzer has a B.S. degree from the State University of New York - Stony Brook, an M.S. degree in human resource management from the School of Labor Relations at New York Institute of Technology and a Six Sigma certification. Ms. Holzer serves on the Board for Jersey Battered Women's Service, Inc., a private, nonprofit organization whose mission is the prevention of domestic violence. She is a member of the Insurance Conference Group, an organization comprised of senior human resource leaders from the top 20 insurance companies, and the HR Roundtable, which includes top human resouce executives from major corporations. Ms. Holzer is also on the advisory board of the National Council for Research on Women, a non-profit women's research organization.

Scott joined Ruhl & Ruhl in 1988, after serving as Bond Manager for the Chubb Company in Denver. He has recently been appointed President. In addition to earning a MBA from the University of Denver, Scott has worked with Rejuvenate Davenport. His interests include golf and jogging.

Director since 2003 Vice Chairman of Blaylock and Partners LP, an investment banking firm, from January 2002 until September 2007. Mr. Somers previously had been President and Chief Executive Officer of AT&T Broadband, a provider of cable and broadband services, from December 1999 to October 2001 and Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at AT&T Corp., a telecommunications company, from May 1997 to December 1999. Mr. Somers served on the board of The Lubrizol Corporation until February 2007. He is also Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Stonehill College.

Retired Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Federated Department Stores, Inc. Mr. Zimmerman previously had been Chairman of the Board from February 2003 until January 2004, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer from May 1997 to February 2003, and President and Chief Operating Officer from March 1988 to May 1997. He began his career with Federated in 1965 after graduating from Rice University in Houston, Texas. Mr. Zimmerman is also a director of Fossil, Inc., continues in leadership roles with several community projects, and previously served on the boards of the H. J. Heinz Company, Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, and Convergys Corporation.

Director since 2001 Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Rothschild & Cie, Frankfurt and Vice Chairman of Rothschild & Cie, London/Paris. Dr. Mangold previously served as a member of the Board of Management of DaimlerChrysler AG and as Chairman of the Board of Management of DaimlerChrysler Services AG, a provider of financial services and a subsidiary of DaimlerChrysler AG, until December 2003. DaimlerChrysler AG is primarily engaged in the development, manufacture, distribution, sale and financing of a wide range of automotive products. Dr. Mangold also serves on the boards of Metro AG, Magna International Inc., Canada and Alstom S.A., Paris.

Director since 1989 Former Secretary of the Smithsonian Institution, a position held from January 2000 to March 2007. The Smithsonian Institution is the world’s largest museum and research complex, with 19 museums and galleries, the National Zoo, and several research facilities around the world. Mr. Small previously had been President and Chief Operating Officer of Fannie Mae, a shareholder owned, New York Stock Exchange listed company and the nation’s largest source of financing for home mortgages, from 1991 to 2000. Mr. Small also serves on the boards of Marriott International, Inc., and New York City’s Spanish Repertory Theater.

Mr. Seitz has served as Chairman of the Company s Board of Directors since June 2006. Mr. Seitz served as Vice Chairman of Lehman Brothers (Europe), an investment bank, from April 1995 to April 2003, following his retirement as the American Ambassador to the Court of St. James from 1991 to 1995. Mr. Seitz currently serves as a director of PCCW Limited, which is a United States public reporting company.

Director since 1998 Zoë Baird is President of the Markle Foundation, a private philanthropy that focuses on using information and communications technologies to address critical public needs, particularly in the areas of health care and national security. Ms. Baird’s career spans business, government and academia. She has been Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Aetna, Inc., a senior visiting scholar at Yale Law School, counselor and staff executive at General Electric Co., and a partner in the law firm of O’Melveny and Myers. She was Associate General Counsel to President Jimmy Carter and an attorney in the Office of Legal Counsel of the Department of Justice. She served on President Clinton’s Foreign Intelligence Advisory Board from 1993-2001 and on the International Competition Policy Advisory Committee to the Attorney General. Ms. Baird served on the Technology & Privacy Advisory Committee to the Secretary of Defense in 2003-2004, which advised on the use of technology to counter terrorism. She is on a number of non profit and corporate boards, including the Convergys Corporation, Boston Properties and Brookings Institution among others.
