John McKenna is CIBA Vision's Chief Financial Officer. Mr. McKenna is a graduate of the DeGroote School of Business's Commerce program at McMaster University. He also holds both CGA and CMA accounting designations.

Dr. Rick Weisbarth is currently the president of the American Academy of Optometry and serves as vice president, Global Head Professional Development & Partnerships for CIBA VISION Corporation, the eye care division of Novartis. Dr. Weisbarth received his O.D. degree from the Ohio State University College of Optometry. Following graduation, he served in the Contact Lens Practice Residency Program at the University of Alabama in Birmingham School of Optometry. He has conducted a private optometric practice and held several different positions in clinical research and professional services for CIBA VISION Corporation in the United States and Switzerland. Dr. Weisbarth has published and lectured internationally on a variety of contact lens and lens care related topics. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and a diplomat in its Cornea and Contact Lens Section. In 1996, Dr. Weisbarth was elected to the Academy's Executive Council. In 2004, Dr. Weisbarth was inducted into the National Academies of Practice as a distinguished practitioner in optometry.

John Beaumont is a professor at the Plastics Engineering Technology program at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College. John has co-authored several books published by Hanser Gardner Publications, and owns several patents in the industry. Beaumont is also the founder/director of the Penn State Erie Plastics CAE Center and was the chairperson for the Injection Molding Division of SPE from 1998-1999. Prior to coming to Penn State, John has years of industrial experience in mold design and as Technical Manager for Moldflow North America.

Dr. Becker is a graduate of University of Houston. He has been in practice for 25 years. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and Missouri Optometric Association. He is currently working with CIBA Vision Corporation on a study involving patient satisfaction with their new Focus progressive bifocal contact lenses. Dr. Becker specializes in fitting all types of contact lenses.

Joe Doner is Head of CIBA Vision's Global Supply Chain. He has a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rose Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, Indiana and has taken graduate courses at Southeastern Missouri University.

Mr. Filippides joined CIBA Vision in 2005 from Quintiles Transnational where he was Vice President of Human Resources - Americas, as well as the Global Human Resources head for the Late Phase clinical development business. Based in Raleigh, North Carolina, Quintiles Transnational provides the full spectrum of product development and commercialization activities, from early compound development, laboratory services and regulatory submission through sales and marketing to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and healthcare industries.

Scott Meece is Worldwide General Counsel for CIBA Vision Corporation. He is also head of the company's global Scientific Affairs, and the global Health, Safety & Environment group. Mr. Meece joined Novartis Corporation (formerly Ciba-Geigy) as CIBA Vision Patent Counsel in October 1993. Prior to that he was a Patent Attorney at Alza Corporation and Phillips Petroleum Company. Mr. Meece also spent seven years at Ford Motor Company as Research/Prototype Engineer and Senior Process Engineer. Mr. Meece is a graduate of the University of Illinois with a bachelor's of science degree in Chemical Engineering and a bachelor's of science with distinction in Mathematics. He received his master's in Chemical Engineering from Wayne State University and his juris doctor from The University of Tulsa College of Law. Mr. Meece is licensed to practice law in Georgia, California and Oklahoma, as well as before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Mr. Meece is the Chairman for the Atlanta Area Council of The American Diabetes Association. He was on the board of directors for the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce and was a cubmaster for the Boy Scouts of America.

Tariq F. Aziz, is Global Head of Corporate Development. He has a bachelor's of Science degree from NED University in Pakistan. He also earned a master's of Science from North Carolina State University and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA.
