Jason Rhode, Ph.D., was named president and chief executive officer in May 2007. Previously, Dr. Rhode served as vice president and general manager of Cirrus Logic's Mixed Signal Audio Division, where he oversaw the revitalization of Cirrus Logic's strong portfolio of analog and mixed-signal converter ICs for consumer and professional audio markets. Previously, Rhode served as director of marketing for analog and mixed signal products.
Rhode joined Cirrus Logic upon completion of his doctorate degree in 1995 from North Carolina State University, serving as an analog design engineer. Rhode assumed roles as design manager in 1998 and became director of Marketing in 2002.
A member of IEEE, Jason has been issued 19 U.S. patents in the area of mixed signal technologies.
Rhode holds a bachelor of science in electrical engineering from San Diego State University, as well as a masters of science in electrical engineering and a doctorate from North Carolina State University.
Thurman K. Case, vice president of Finance and treasurer, was appointed chief financial officer in February 2007.
Mr. Case joined Cirrus Logic in 2000 and has served in a variety of executive financial management positions. He has more than 23 years of experience in finance at several companies and organizations, including Case Associates Inc., where he provided consultant services to several companies, including Advanced Micro Devices Inc. Mr. Case was also previously employed by ValueRx/Diagnostek Inc., and Public Service of New Mexico Electric Gas Company.

Greg Brennan brings to Cirrus Logic and Apex Precision Power™ products more than 24 years experience in electronics manufacturing, process engineering and technical sales. Nearly 20 of those years have been served in a leadership role. Mr. Brennan’s career experience includes lengthy tenures at CTS Microelectronics and Vitarel Microelectronics.
Mr. Brennan joined Apex Microtechnology in 1993 as the District Sales manager for the company’s network of domestic sales representatives. In 1995, he assumed the leadership role for the Apex sales team, which included domestic and international sales, customer service and applications technical support. The company’s marketing functions were added to his responsibilities in 2000, and he was promoted to vice president in early 2003. With the July 2007 acquisition of Apex Microtechnology by Cirrus Logic, Mr. Brennan’s management focus shifted to product marketing while also providing a key leadership role in creating the new Apex Precision Power product brand. Greg was promoted to vice president and general manager of the Apex Precision Power business unit in April 2008.
Mr. Brennan started his undergraduate education in the BSEE program at Purdue University, and completed his studies with a bachelor of science degree in business from the University of Phoenix.
Scott Thomas came to Cirrus Logic as vice president and associate general counsel in January 2001. He assumed the role of general counsel and corporate secretary in December 2003. Currently, Mr. Thomas manages Cirrus Logic's legal department and advises the company on a wide range of legal and business issues, including intellectual property matters.
Mr. Thomas combines a decade of legal experience with an understanding of the engineering world derived from his four years as an engineer at Texas Instruments and AT&T Bell Laboratories. Mr. Thomas also has a strong background in intellectual property law and litigation. In the mid- to late 1990s, he served as an intellectual property attorney at Arnold, White & Durkee, specializing in complex technology-related litigation for corporate clients such as 3M, Adtran and Ericsson. In 2000, Mr. Thomas went to Thompson & Knight in Austin, Texas, to help establish the company's new intellectual property section. During that time, he began consulting with Cirrus Logic.
Mr. Thomas has a J.D. degree from The University of Texas School of Law, a master's degree in electrical engineering from Rice University and a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from Virginia Tech.

Jo-Dee Benson serves as the leader of Cirrus Logic's Corporate Communications and Human Resources organization. In her combined roles, Ms. Benson oversees Cirrus Logic's external marketing communications functions, such as brand management, public relations and Web-based marketing, as well as Cirrus Logic's Human Resources programs for alignment of strategic corporate business programs with employee development and services.
Ms. Benson joined Cirrus Logic in 1995 as director of Marketing Communications and has 20 years of industry experience in leading successful integrated communications programs. Prior to joining Cirrus Logic, Ms. Benson served as vice president of Marketing Communications with Vectris Telecom. Ms. Benson has also served such other companies as Genlyte, Inc., Peyton & Associates public relations firm, and St. Mary's Hospital Medical Center in Madison, Wis.
Ms. Benson obtained a bachelor of science degree from the University of Wisconsin at Madison.
Keith Cheney rejoined Cirrus Logic in March of 2005 as Vice President for Marketing for the Embedded Production Division, having worked for Cirrus Logic previously from 1995 to 2000. Keith was promoted to General Manager of the Embedded Products Division in June of 2005, where he is responsible for establishing the strategy and product direction for the CobraNet™, audio DSP and ARM products.
Keith has more than 20 years of industry experience in sales, marketing and general management. Before returning to Cirrus Logic, he served as the general manager for the Network Communication Systems Division within Freescale Semiconductor (formerly Motorola’s Semiconductor Products Sector). During his time with Motorola, Keith was instrumental in establishing a long-term strategy for the division which led to the development of two new generations of products for the division. Prior to that, Keith served as Cirrus Logic’s vice president and general manager of the Communications Division.
Keith earned a bachelor of science in computer science (cum laude) and master of business administration degrees from the University of Kansas.

Lewis Venters became vice president of Corporate Quality in April 2007, having joined Cirrus Logic in February 2005 as director of Quality. Venters has extensive experience in the semiconductor industry, serving in engineering, quality and management positions with companies such as Harris Semiconductor, Motorola Semiconductor, White Oak Semiconductor and Honeywell prior to joining Cirrus Logic. Venters is a military veteran, having served 8 years in the U.S. Navy in advanced electronics. Venters holds a bachelor of science degree in Aviation Management with a minor in Electronics Technology from Southern Illinois University. Additionally, Venters completed the Motorola Management Institute, Six Sigma certification, Program Management certificate from George Washington University, and several MBA courses at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.
Miroslav Dokic, Ph.D., was named vice president and general manager of the DSP Business Unit in May 2007. Previously, Dr. Dokic served as director of DSP Firmware Engineering and Advanced Technology Development in Cirrus Logic’s Embedded Products Division, where he led the development of a world class audio algorithm portfolio.
Dr. Dokic joined Cirrus Logic in November 1995 as DSP project leader and quickly established an in-house DSP development team, which is now a separate Cirrus Logic business unit. He assumed a role of design manager in 1997 and became director of DSP firmware engineering in 1999.
Dr. Dokic holds 20 U.S. patents in the area of audio and video compression technologies and DSP technologies in general. He also represented Cirrus Logic in various industry bodies and organizations, such as MPEG committee (1995 – 2005), MPEG Industry Forum group (2000-current) and DVD Forum group from 2002 till 2005.
Before joining Cirrus Logic, Dr. Dokic worked for Adaptive Micro-Ware, a small startup company in Fort Wayne, Ind., where he worked as a Senior DSP engineer on direct broadcast satellite audio and video compression systems as well as video-on-demand service and set-top box design for ADSL-based networks.
Dr. Dokic received his doctorate degree in electrical engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology at Chicago and his masters of science and bachelors of science degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Sarajevo, former Yugoslavia.

Tim Turk was named vice president of Worldwide Sales in August 2007. As the leader of Cirrus Logic’s global sales team, Turk will be responsible for managing Cirrus Logic’s global team of direct sales, representatives and distribution partners, cultivating continued strong customer relationships and driving revenue growth.
Turk has broad experience in sales and marketing leadership positions and a proven track record in developing multiple strategic accounts in markets such as automotive, industrial, computing, networking and aerospace. Turk served 20 years in sales and operations with Cypress Semiconductor, including as vice president of Worldwide Sales and Sales Operations from 2004-2006. He also served eight years in sales and marketing at Harris Corporation in Melbourne, Fla. Turk most recently served as vice president of Sales for Averna Corporation, where he was instrumental in quickly achieving numerous customer design wins and significant revenue growth for the Portland, Ore.-based startup company.
Turk holds a bachelor of science degree in engineering technology from Purdue University and a masters in business administration degree from the University of Florida. Turk also completed a Graduate Executive Leadership Program from the University of North Carolina.
Will Cuellar was named vice president of Supply Chain in November of 2008, where he oversees Cirrus Logica s worldwide manufacturing operations. Mr. Cuellar has extensive experience in foundry, supply chain management, new products, sales and operations in a fables environment. Prior to joining Cirrus Logic, Mr. Cuellar served as director of Planning and New Product Development for Analog Devices (Silicon Valley Division). During his tenure with Analog Devices, Mr. Cuellar oversaw planning, new product planning, customer service and logistics for several major product lines, including power/thermal, standard products, displays, amplifiers, high voltage references and aeronautics. Mr. Cuellar also served as senior manager of Foundry Operations and Supply Chain Management Group for National Semiconductors were he was successful in establishing a planning function and key strategic metrics that measured and quantified foundry performance. Mr. Cuellar holds a master of business administration degree from the University of Santa Clara and a bachelor of science in business administration degree from San Jose State.

Scott Anderson is senior vice president and general manager of the Mixed-Signal Audio Division. Anderson. Anderson joined Cirrus Logic in October 2007 after having previously served as the president and chief operating officer of Freescale Semiconductor and as president and chief executive officer of Motorola Semiconductor Products Sector (2003-2005).
Anderson began his career in Motorola SPS in Austin in 1978 as a microprocessor product engineer and served in a variety of engineering and management positions. In 1991, he was appointed vice president and general manager of the Customer Specified Integrated Circuits Division and in 1996 moved to Japan as the managing director of the Semiconductor Products Division and deputy general manager of Nippon Motorola Ltd. From 1999 to 2003, Anderson served as the general manager of the Transportation and Standard Products Group. Anderson earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Utah, where he graduated magna cum laude.
At Cirrus Logic, Anderson oversees the company’s Mixed-Signal Audio division, which provides high-precision analog and mixed-signal components such as data converters, Class D amplification products and interface circuits which are used in a wide variety of consumer, professional and automotive audio applications.

Bob Kromer has served as vice president of Worldwide Sales for Cirrus Logic since January 2003 after previously serving as vice president of the Marketing Media Server Products at Cirrus Logic. Mr. Kromer is a 30-year veteran of high technology management. Prior to this role, Mr. Kromer managed business operations, product development, market development and sales for Cirrus Logic's Optical Products Division. In previous positions at Cirrus Logic, Mr. Kromer served as vice president and general manager of for the Magnetic Storage Division and as vice president of Sales for the Magnetic Storage Division, where he played a key role interfacing with our strategic customers and managing the sales channel. Mr. Smith joined the board in August 2003 bringing to Virage Logic over forty years of experience in financial management with leading technology companies. From 1963 at the onset of his career at Honeywell, Inc. Smith has held a number of executive positions in operations, finance and administration with Memorex Corporation and Control Data Corporation. In 1982, Smith joined R. R. Donnelley & Sons Company (NYSE: DNY), a leading provider of financial printing and communications as executive vice president, finance and chief financial officer. Smith went on to become president of Maxwell Graphics in 1986. In 1996, Smith joined Novellus Systems, Inc., as executive vice president, finance and administration and chief financial officer. Smith also served on the board of directors of Novellus until his retirement in 2002. Since 1990, Smith has been a member of the board of directors of Cirrus Logic, Inc. (NASDAQ: CRUS), serves on the company's compensation committee, and also serves as chairman of the audit committee. Walden C. Rhines is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Mentor Graphics, a leader in worldwide electronic design automation with revenue of $789 million in 2008. During his tenure at Mentor Graphics, revenue has more than doubled, growth rate since 1999 has been number one among the “Big 3” EDA companies and Mentor has grown the industry’s number one market share solutions in physical verification, design concept-through-functional verification and printed circuit board design.
Prior to joining Mentor Graphics, Rhines was Executive Vice President of Texas Instruments’ Semiconductor Group, sharing responsibility for TI’s Components Sector, and having direct responsibility for the entire semiconductor business with more than $5 billion of revenue and over 30,000 people.
During his 21 years at TI, Rhines managed TI’s thrust into digital signal processing and supervised that business from inception with the TMS 320 family of DSP’s through growth to become the cornerstone of TI’s semiconductor technology. He was also responsible for development of the first TI speech synthesis devices (used in “Speak & Spell”) and is co-inventor of the GaN blue-violet light emitting diode (now important for DVD players). He was President of TI’s Data Systems Group and held numerous other semiconductor executive management positions.
Rhines is currently in his fourth term as Chairman of the Electronic Design Automation Consortium. He is also a board member of the Semiconductor Research Corporation, Lewis and Clark College and the Portland Classic Wines Auction. He has previously served as chairman of the Semiconductor Technical Advisory Committee of the Department of Commerce, as an executive committee member of the board of directors of the Corporation for Open Systems and as a board member of the Computer and Business Equipment Manufacturers' Association (CBEMA), SEMI-Sematech/SISA, Electronic Design Automation Consortium (EDAC), University of Michigan National Advisory Council and Sematech.
Dr. Rhines holds a bachelor of science degree in metallurgical engineering from the University of Michigan, a master of science and Ph.D. in materials science and engineering from Stanford University, a master of business administration from Southern Methodist University and an Honorary Doctor of Technology degree from Nottingham Trent University.
