Dr. Adam Mamelak is the neurosurgical director of the Epilepsy and Brain Mapping Program. He graduated from Harvard Medical School and completed residency training at the University of California at San Francisco with subspecialty training in epilepsy surgery, functional stereotaxy and neuro-oncology. He has extensive experience with intra-operative brain mapping techniques and image-guided resections. Dr. Mamelak is an associate fellow of the American College of Surgeons and has an appointment as an associate in biology at the California Institute of Technology. He is assistant professor at the City of Hope National Medical Center and has active research programs in MR Spectroscopy and the basic science of neuronal growth caused by seizures. He is the recipient of the 1997 Young Clinician Investigators Award by the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and has published more than 25 articles.

Tina Maluso-Bolton received her baccalaureate degree from California State University, Fullerton and Masters of Science degree in Nursing and Acute Care/Oncology Nurse Practitioner from the University of California, Los Angeles. She has worked as an advanced practice clinician in a variety of oncology settings including: private practice, community hospital, HMO, hospital outpatient, and academic medical center. Additionally, Tina has worked as a consultant in program development and practice efficiency, regulatory preparation, and integrating Nurse Practitioners into the practice setting. She has authored and co-authored numerous publications and lectured extensively on the role of the Nurse Practitioner in supportive care of patients undergoing chemotherapy. She is currently working as the Southern California Permanente Regional Bone Marrow Transplant Nurse Practitioner at City of Hope National Medical Center.
