George R. Oliver is president of Tyco Safety Products (TSP), as well as the leader of Tyco Electrical & Metal Products (TEMP). TSP designs, manufactures and sells fire detection and fire suppression products, breathing apparatus, intrusion security, access control, electronic article surveillance, and video management systems. TEMP designs, manufactures and sells galvanized steel tubes, armored wire and cable and other metal products.
Oliver joined Tyco in 2006 as president of TSP, and was named as leader of the TEMP businesses in May 2007.
Prior to joining the company, Oliver served in operational roles of increasing responsibility at several General Electric (GE) divisions. Until 2006, he was president and CEO of GE Water and Process Technologies, where he led all aspects of a $2B water-related products and services business with more than 7,000 employees worldwide. Oliver also served as president and CEO of GE Engine Services with global responsibility for the $5B aircraft engine services business. Additionally, he held leadership positions in GE’s Aircraft Engines and Appliances divisions.

Jim Spicer is president of SimplexGrinnell, the centerpiece of Tyco’s Fire Protection Services group of businesses. SimplexGrinnell is a leading provider of fire detection and alarm, fire sprinkler, fire suppression, and integrated security systems and services.
Spicer has had a long, successful career with Simplex and SimplexGrinnell, occupying corporate marketing, sales management and senior leadership positions. He was named president of the company in October 2007. Prior to that, he had most recently served as vice president of business operations, working to streamline business operations, accelerate organic growth and drive SimplexGrinnell’s key business strategies.
During his 17 years with the company, Spicer has also held critical field management roles, including vice president of field operations and vice president of north central operations.
In 2006, Spicer earned the prestigious Tyco Chairman’s Award from chairman and CEO Ed Breen for his outstanding career and impressive array of accomplishments with Tyco.
Patrick Decker is president of Flow Control, the world’s largest manufacturer of flow control products and heat-tracing solutions for industrial, residential and commercial customers in the oil and gas, power, food and beverage, chemical, water, and other process industries.
Prior to his appointment as president of Flow Control in May 2007, Decker was chief financial officer (CFO) of Tyco Engineered Products and Services. He previously was CFO for Tyco’s Plastics & Adhesives unit before it was sold in 2003.
Decker joined Tyco in 2003 from Bristol-Myers Squibb, where he spent 13 years in a series of key finance roles both in the U.S. and internationally, including vice president of finance and business development in the Mead Johnson Nutritionals business. He began his career as an auditor for PricewaterhouseCoopers.

John E. Evard, Jr. is Senior Vice President and Chief Tax Officer of Tyco
International since January 2003. He is responsible for all of Tyco’s tax
activities worldwide.
Prior to joining Tyco International, Evard served as Vice President, Tax at
United Technologies Corporation (UTC) from August 2000. Prior to joining
United Technologies, Evard held a number of positions at CNH Global N.V.
and its predecessor company, Case Corp., including Senior Vice President,
Corporate Development, and General Tax Counsel from December 1989 to
August 2000. Prior to joining Case Corp., Evard held several positions of increasing
responsibilities in the tax department of Atlantic Richfield Company.
Evard received his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1969.
He received his law degree from the University of Arizona in 1974 and his LLM in taxation from
New York University in 1975.
Evard is married and lives with his wife, Beth in Princeton, NJ.
Shelley Stewart, Jr. is senior vice president of operational excellence and chief procurement officer at Tyco. He is responsible for leading the company’s Six Sigma/lean, information technology, strategic sourcing, real estate/facilities and working capital initiatives.
Prior to his promotion in January 2006, Stewart served as vice president of supply chain management. Previously, Stewart was senior vice president of supply chain management at Invensys plc, headquartered in London. In this position, he provided leadership for the strategic sourcing of $4.6 billion in goods and services, as well as having overall responsibility for lean operational excellence. Before Invensys, Stewart was vice president of supply chain management with the Raytheon Company, joining it after 18 years with United Technologies Corporation - where he held numerous senior level supply chain and operational positions.
Stewart is currently a member of the Conference Board’s Purchasing and Supply Leadership Council and serves on the visiting Board of Directors at Howard University’s School of Business, as well as being chairman of Howard’s Supply Chain Advisory Board and a member of Purchasing magazine’s editorial advisory board. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Institute of Supply Management.
Stewart holds a Masters degree in business administration from the University of New Haven and both a Bachelors and Masters degree from Northeastern University.

Arditte was promoted to this role in February 2006. Previously, he served as Tyco’s senior vice president of investor relations. He joined Tyco in May of 2003 after serving as chief financial officer at BancBoston Capital - the private equity division of FleetBoston Financial.
Arditte also spent more than 15 years at Textron Inc., an $11B corporation with global operations in a diverse set of industrial businesses. During his tenure at Textron, he held a number of positions of increasing responsibility, including vice president of investor relations and risk management; vice president of communications and risk management; vice president of finance and business development at the Textron Fastening Systems Group; and vice president and treasurer for Textron Inc.

Naren K. Gursahaney is president of ADT Worldwide, the world’s largest electronic security provider to residential, commercial, industrial and governmental customers. He previously served as president of Tyco Engineered Products and Services, as well as president of Tyco Flow Control.
Gursahaney joined Tyco in 2003 as senior vice president of Operational Excellence for Tyco International. Prior to joining Tyco, he was president and chief executive officer of GE Medical Systems – Asia, where he was responsible for the company’s $1.6B sales and services business in the Asia-Pacific region. During his 10-year career with GE, Gursahaney held senior leadership positions in services, marketing and information management within the Medical Systems and Power Systems divisions. He also worked at GE’s corporate headquarters as staff executive for the vice chairman and manager of business development.
Previously, Gursahaney spent four years with Booz Allen & Hamilton in Cleveland, Ohio and also worked as an engineer for Westinghouse Electric Corporation in Baltimore, Maryland and Ashdod, Israel.
Gursahaney holds a Masters degree in business administration from the University of Virginia, Darden School and a Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering from the Pennsylvania State University.

Prior to joining SAS, Mr. Bhuiyan served as a Financial Consultant with the Investors Group which is the largest wealth management company in Canada, and founded Intercontinental Investment and Immigration Services based in Toronto which is marketing immigration services of a large Toronto based law firm exclusively in 4 countries in Asia. In the not-for-profit arena, Mr. Bhuiyan is the founder and Chairman of Integrity International, based in Toronto, Canada and travels widely for promoting the mission of this organization. Mr. Bhuiyan was a member of former US President Bill Clinton's business delegation, representing United States Chamber of Commerce, during his historic visit to Bangladesh in 2000. Mr. Bhuiyan's contribution in promoting USA-Bangladesh bilateral relationship in trade was recognized by the National Parliament of Bangladesh and by the former House Majority Leader Congressman Richard Armey in 2000. Mr. Bhuiyan attended King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia and University of Texas at Arlington in Texas. His present and past professional memberships include American Institute of CPAs, Texas Society of CPAs, US Chamber of Commerce and Greater Dallas Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Duperreault joined our Board in March 2004. Mr. Duperreault currently serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Marsh and McLellan Companies, Inc. Previously, Mr. Duperreault served as Chairman of ACE Limited, an international provider of a broad range of insurance and reinsurance products, since October 1994. He also served as Chief Executive Officer of ACE Limited from October 1994 through May 2004, and as its President from October 1994 through November 1999. Prior to joining ACE, Mr. Duperreault had been employed with American Insurance Group ("AIG") since 1973 and served in various senior executive positions with AIG and its affiliates from 1978 until September 1994. Mr. Duperreault also serves as a director of the Bank of N.T. Butterfield & Son Limited.
Bruce Gordon became a director of Tyco in January 2003 and was appointed lead director in March 2008. From August 2005 through April 2007, Mr. Gordon served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. Until his retirement in December 2003, he was the President of Retail Markets at Verizon Communications, Inc. Prior to the merger of Bell Atlantic Corporation and GTE, which formed Verizon in July of 2000, Mr. Gordon fulfilled a variety of positions at Bell Atlantic Corporation, including Group President, Vice President of Marketing and Sales and Vice President of Sales. Ron is a graduate of the University of Glasgow, Oxford University and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He has carried out basic biomedical research at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory in Heidelberg, where he was a European Exchange Fellow of the Royal Society of London, at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore and at the Fox Chase Cancer Center, Philadelphia. Prior to joining CHL Medical Partners in 1997, Ron was a general partner at Hancock Venture Partners (now HarbourVest Partners) where he invested in sixteen healthcare companies, eleven of which have become public companies. Ron has served on the boards of seventeen companies including General Surgical Innovations, Inc., (acquired by Tyco International Corp.), GeneOhm Sciences, Inc. (acquired by Becton Dickinson), and Protometrix, Inc., (acquired by Invitrogen Corp.). He was founding CEO of Protometrix, Inc. as well as CGI Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and was formerly Chairman of the Board of Amicus Therapeutics, Inc. Ron currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of OpGen, Inc. and on the boards of BIKAM Pharmaceuticals, Inc., BioRelix, Inc. and POINT Biomedical Corp.

Sandra S. Wijnberg has been a director of Tyco since March 2003. In March 2007, Ms. Wijnberg was named Chief Administrative Officer of Aquiline Holdings LLC. From January 2000 to March 2006, Ms. Wijnberg served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc. Before joining Marsh & McLennan, Ms. Wijnberg served as a Senior Vice President and Treasurer of Tricon Global Restaurants, Inc. and held various positions at PepsiCo, Inc., Morgan Stanley Group, Inc. and American Express Company. Ms. Wijnberg is a director of Tygris Commercial Finance Group and Futurity First Financial Corporation.
