Clean Harbors Inc.

Alan S. McKim founded the Company in 1980 and is Chairman of the Board of Directors, President, and Chief Executive Officer of the Company. He serves as a director of most of the Company's subsidiaries. Mr. McKim holds an MBA from Northeastern University.

James M. Rutledge joined Clean Harbors as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 2005. Before joining Clean Harbors, Mr. Rutledge served as Chief Financial Officer of Rogers Corporation, a developer and manufacturer of specialty polymer and electronic materials for targeted applications. At that company, he was responsible for Rogers' financial, tax and legal functions as well its supply chain operations worldwide. He also assisted in expanding the strategic focus of the company, contributing to its record sales and earnings. Prior to Rogers Corporation, Mr. Rutledge served as Chief Financial Officer at Baldwin Technology Company, Inc., a publicly listed manufacturer of controls, accessories, and material handling equipment for the printing industry. He also served in various capacities, including Vice President and Treasurer, over a 20-year span at Witco Corporation, a $2 billion global specialty chemicals company. Mr. Rutledge began his career at Price Waterhouse & Company, and earned an MBA degree in Finance from Rutgers University, and a BA degree in Math and Literature from Assumption College.

David M. Parry is Executive Vice President, Sales and Services. Mr. Parry joined the Company in 1988 and he has served in a variety of management positions including Senior Vice President of Eastern Operations. He has also previously held the positions of Regional Vice President, Northeast Region, District Sales Manager, Regional Manager of CleanPack® and T&D Services, Plant Manager and CleanPack Chemist. Mr. Parry holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy.

Deirdre J. Evens is Executive Vice President, Corporate Sales, Marketing and Business Development. She joined the Company in 2007. From 2006 to 2007, she served as Senior Vice President of Member Insight at BJ's Wholesale Club, an $8 billion Fortune 300 retailer and the leading warehouse chain in the eastern United States. From 1986 to 2006, she worked at Polaroid Corporation, a leading global provider of Instant Photography, Digital Imaging, and Consumer Electronics products. At Polaroid, she held a variety of leadership positions including Senior Vice President of Global Marketing and Strategy, Vice President and General Manager for Polaroid's Imaging Business, and Director of Manufacturing Operations. Ms. Evens holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Cornell University.

Eric W. Gerstenberg is Senior Vice President, Disposal Services. Mr. Gerstenberg rejoined the Company in June 1999 as Vice President of Disposal Services of Clean Harbors Environmental Services, Inc. From 1997 to 1999, Mr. Gerstenberg was the Vice President of Operations for Pollution Control Industries, a privately owned environmental services company. From 1989 to 1997, Mr. Gerstenberg held a variety of positions with the Company including General Manager of the Natick, Baltimore and Chicago facilities. Mr. Gerstenberg holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Syracuse University.

George L. Curtis is Senior Vice President, Pricing and Proposals. Mr. Curtis joined the Company in 1980, and he has served in a variety of management positions the most recent of which were Vice President of Marketing and Vice President of Business Development. Mr. Curtis holds an MBA degree from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Columbia University.

Phillip G. Retallick serves as Senior Vice President for Compliance and Regulatory Affairs with the Company. He joined the Company as part of the Safety-Kleen/CSD acquisition, in September 2002. Previously, Mr. Retallick held positions with the United States Environmental Protection Agency and the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control. He also served as Senior Compliance Official with the Rollins Environmental Services Company, Laidlaw Environmental Services Company and Safety-Kleen, Inc. Mr. Retallick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geosciences from the Pennsylvania State University. He also received a Graduate Certificate in Environmental Management from the University of Southern California.

Prior to joining Clean Harbors, Gerlin worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers for nearly 17 years, where he held positions of increasing responsibility, culminating in his appointment as Audit Partner in 1999. While at PwC, Gerlin worked with many of the firm’s key clients in multiple industries to conduct their financial audits and oversee other financial and strategic initiatives. Gerlin launched his career in the advertising field, serving as an account executive with premier New York-based agencies, including Young & Rubicam, BBDO, and NW Ayer. Gerlin received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Middlebury College and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard University Graduate School of Business.

John R. Beals joined Clean Harbors as Vice President and Corporate Controller in 2006. Before joining Clean Harbors, Beals was Vice President and Corporate Controller at 3Com. Before that, he was at The First Years Inc., for 19 years where he held positions of increasing responsibility, including Treasurer, Controller and Chief Financial Officer, Senior Vice President-Finance. He began his career with Deloitte & Touche and was promoted to the level of audit manager with the firm. Beals, a certified public accountant, holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Massachusetts.

Daniel J. McCarthy has been a Professor of Strategic Management at Northeastern University since 1972, prior to which he was President of Computer Environments Corporation, a computer services company. In the past, he served on five boards, most recently at Tufts Associated Health Maintenance Organization, as a member of its Audit Committee and as Chairman of its Investment Committee. Mr. McCarthy also served as Director and Member of the Audit and Compensation Committees of MANAGEDCOMP, Inc. Mr. McCarthy holds an AB and MBA degree from Dartmouth College and a DBA degree from Harvard Business School. He has served as a Director of the Company since 1987.

Andrea Robertson is a CPA and business executive with over twenty years of experience in finance. Ms. Robertson presently serves as Group Executive and Corporate Treasurer of MasterCard International. Ms. Robertson started her career as an auditor for Coopers & Lybrand (now PriceWaterhouseCoopers) and later joined IBM for twelve years where she held finance positions of increasing responsibility in Treasury and in financial planning. Ms. Robertson subsequently served as Assistant Treasurer, Global Corporate Finance and Vice President & Treasurer of R.R. Donnelley & Sons Company until accepting her present position with MasterCard International. Ms. Robertson holds an MBA degree from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business where she was a Henry Ford II Scholar and an undergraduate degree in Accounting from Merrimack College where she was class valedictorian. She has served as a Director of the Company since 2004.

Gene Banucci has led ATMI, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATMI) as Chairman and CEO since co-founding the Company in 1986. He, along with the founding team of scientists, had a vision of creating a preeminent semiconductor materials company. The company went public in 1993 with only $7 million in revenues, and grew to $300 million in 2000 due to an aggressive technology development and M&A strategy. As a result of the technology downturn of 2001-2002, Gene initiated a major strategic realignment of the Company that led to the divestment of over one-third of the Company's product lines while simultaneously growing the Company's core business over 40%. At the end of 2004, Gene decided to make strategy, investor relations and governance his primary activities and moved to an executive Chairman role with the Company. Prior to starting ATMI, Gene served as Vice President for American Cyanamid's Chemical Research Division, where he directed more than 600 scientists and engineers in new product research and development for this $1.4 billion unit. Previously, he was with General Electric Company for over 10 years in a variety of management positions at the Corporate R&D Center and GE Plastics. Gene's excellent communication skills, especially his unique ability to build solid, long-lasting relationships with semiconductor industry executives, have been a prime reason for the long term growth of ATMI. Gene has broad experience in investor relations, strategy development, and corporate governance best practices. Most importantly, his personal integrity leads to a high degree of credibility and trust among customers, shareholders and employees. Gene is a founding member of the Connecticut Technology Council, a member of the Board of the Program on Innovation and Technology of the National Research Council, a member of the Board of Directors of Zygo, Inc. (Nasdaq:ZIGO), Emosyn International, and a member of the Board of Trustees of Beloit College. He received his PhD in Organic Chemistry from Wayne State University, and his BA in Chemistry from Beloit College. Gene holds 21 issued U.S. patents and is the author of numerous published articles.

John F. Kaslow is the retired Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of New England Electric System (NEES). He also served as President of the NEES subsidiary, New England Power Company, and was a director of both companies. Following his retirement from NEES in 1990, he served as an Executive Advisor to the Electric Power Research Institute until 1998, and as an electric industry consultant. Mr. Kaslow is a director of the Doble Engineering Company and is a former director of the New England Council and Merrimack College. Mr. Kaslow holds a B.S. degree from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, and is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program of the Harvard Business School. He has served as a director of the Company since 1991.

Lorne R. Waxlax served as Executive Vice President of The Gillette Company from 1985 to 1993, with worldwide responsibility for Braun AG, Oral-B Laboratories and Jafra Cosmetics International. He is currently a Director of B.J.'s Wholesale Club, Inc., and HON Industries Inc. Mr. Waxlax holds a BBA degree from the University of Minnesota and an MBA degree from Northwestern University. He has served as a Director of the Company since 1994.
