Amir Husain is the chief technology officer spearheading the strategic development of cutting-edge products that deliver increasing value to ClearCube's customers. Prior to joining ClearCube, Amir founded infraManage, a systems management software company that merged with ClearCube in 2002. Earlier, he was also a founder of Kurion, a Web services company and inventor of its proprietary technology. Kurion was later acquired by iSyndicate. Amir is the inventor of ClearCube's patented and proprietary Distributed Computing Infrastructure and he holds more than a dozen filed and awarded patents and has authored numerous papers published in international conferences and journals. Amir holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Computer Sciences from the Punjab Institute of Computer Sciences and the University of Texas at Austin. He serves on the Board of Advisors at BarZ Adventures in Austin, and Alif Laila Children's Educational Society, a non-profit organization based in Lahore, Pakistan which is funded by about 30 international institutions including the United Nations.
Doug is worldwide vice president of sales. He is responsible for leading sales strategy and managing sales execution across a wide range of vertical business segments. Prior to joining ClearCube in 2001, Layne was director of channel sales for Blue Pumpkin Software in Sunnyvale, California, where he built and grew the company's channel program. From 1996 to 1998, Layne was channel director at Tivoli Systems in Austin, Texas, where he developed and enabled a worldwide channel organization.. Between 1985 and 1996, he held various sales and management positions for Egghead Software before they were sold in 1996. He began his career in 1978 as senior materials manager for Exxon Pipeline in Houston.
Kelly joined ClearCube in 2005 and successfully led the company's Sarbanes Oxley readiness project which documented and refined the financial processes and controls for ClearCube Technology. Promoted to Vice President of Finance in 2008, Kelly oversees the entire finance department including financial reporting, inventory, cost accounting, treasury, tax and budgeting. With 25 years of experience, Kelly has a wealth of financial management expertise. Prior to joining ClearCube, Kelly held controller positions for firms operating in the retail, wholesale, distribution and service industries. She was involved in numerous M&A transactions from 1997 to 2005, evaluating potential acquisitions, integrating and then streamlining the acquired companies. Kelly also has helped raise venture capital for 2 separate start-up companies as well as establishing bank credit facilities for several other existing organizations. Kelly received her BBA from Texas A&M University in 1982 and is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Texas. She is a member of both the American Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Mr. Bryant is a Vice President of Paladin Capital Group. Prior to joining Paladin Capital in 2002, Mr. Bryant was an Associate and founding member of The Vigilant Investors Fund, a hedge fund in Santa Monica, California. While at Vigilant, Mr. Bryant was part of small team that built the fund from start-up, raising initial LP commitments from institutional and high-net worth investors. Mr. Bryant's responsibilities included originating and executing on new investment ideas, monitoring the fund's investments, as well as creating and maintaining the fund's proprietary in-house risk management system or 'black-box'. Prior to Vigilant, Mr. Bryant was a member of the management team of a Los Angeles based start-up. Mr. Bryant is also the co-founder of an international non-profit organization focused on creating literacy programs and building libraries in rural villages in West Africa. Mr. Bryant received his B.A. degree in Philosophy with Honors from Haverford College in Pennsylvania, where he focused on Logic and Analytical Philosophy. Mr. Bryant represents Paladin on the Board of Directors of Greater Ohio Ethanol and Renewable Energy Products, and is also actively involved with Paladin's investments in Accubuilt, Cogent Communications [NASDAQ: CCOI], Crossbow, HelioVolt, Iptivia, OQO, Royalty Pharma, SafeView, and SOA Software. Mr. Bryant is also a member of the Executive Committee of YAVA, the Mid-Atlantic Venture Association's Young Atlantic Venture Association. Mr. Bryant is also actively involved in Paladin's investment activities in alternative energy, renewable fuels, and clean technologies.

Mr. Pentimonti is a Principal of Paladin focused on sourcing, negotiating and monitoring investment opportunities for the Paladin Homeland Security Fund and Paladin Capital Partners Fund. Prior to joining Paladin, Mr. Pentimonti spent six years as an investment banker with JPMorgan Chase (and the growth-focused investment bank, Hambrecht & Quist, which was acquired by JPMorgan Chase). While at JPMorgan, Mr. Pentimonti led the execution of over 20 equity offerings, 10 M&A transactions and various other public and private capital raising transactions. Mr. Pentimonti also identified and led four late stage private equity investments made by JPMorgan Partners. From 1991 to 1994, he was a senior consultant and auditor with Arthur Andersen & Co. in San Francisco. Mr. Pentimonti received his B.A. degree in Economics and Political Science from Stanford University, and his M.B.A. from the Anderson School at UCLA. Mr. Pentimonti represents Paladin on the board of directors of Orchestria Corporation and Greater Ohio Ethanol, and is actively involved in Paladin's investments in CloudShield, GlassHouse and Oryxe Energy. Mr. Pentimonti is also actively involved in Paladin's investment activities in alternative energy, renewable fuels, and clean technologies.

Jim is a founding Partner of Focus Ventures. While at Focus, he has led successful investments in Cosine Communications, Starent Networks, Telera (Alcatel) and Netscaler (Citrix). He is currently responsible for Focus? investments in Infoblox, Miradia, PA Semi, Pure Digital and Teknovus. In addition to his investment work, Jim spearheads Focus? efforts in Asia, to which he brings to bear his 30 years experience in the region. Jim has initiated customer and partner relationships for numerous Focus portfolio companies including inCode Telecom, NetScaler, PixelWorks, PureDigital and Silicon Optix. Jim is frequently tapped to speak about his experiences at events hosted by organizations such as Asian Venture Capital Journal and International Business Forum. Jim was a cofounder in 1986 and a Managing Director of the successful merchant banking boutique, Amsterdam Pacific Corportation, which was purchased by a large European bank in 1994. Prior to forming Amsterdam Pacific Corporation, he was Vice President in the Telecommunications Section of the Bank of America's Investment Banking Group where he led media and high technology assignments in the U.S., Europe, and the Far East. Outside of his work at Focus, Jim has successful investments in companies such as ONI, Alteon, Prism Radio Partners, Deeptech, Hello Direct, US Filter and USA Waste. Jim has lectured on corporate and project financing at Stanford and has written numerous finance related articles including one published in the May-June 1982 issue of the Harvard Business Review, which was subsequently selected as one of the year's best and published in a hardcover collection. Jim has an Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Wisconsin and MBA (as an Arjay Miller Scholar) and MA degrees from Stanford University. Prior to attending business school, he worked for four years as a telecommunications engineer in the U.S. Air Force, specializing in analog/digital voice systems and digital networking.
