Michael H. Madison has served as president and chief executive officer of Cleco since May 2005 and as president and chief operating officer of Cleco Power LLC, the wholly owned utility subsidiary of Cleco Corporation, from October 2003 to May 2005. He was state president, Louisiana-Arkansas with American Electric Power from June 2000 to September 2003. Mr. Madison, who is 60 years old, joined Cleco in 2003 and was elected a director by the board of directors in May 2005. Mr. Madison is a member of the Executive Committee.

Katie joined Cleco in 2001. She has over 20 years of experience in economic development, nonprofit management, business management and marketing and community leadership organizations. Katie attended Northeast Louisiana University in Monroe and is a certified Economic Development Finance Professional. She is a member of LIDEA and several other professional and service organizations.

Mike joined Cleco in 2001. He has 20 years of experience in economic development. Mike has a bachelor's degree in business administration and is a certified Economic Development Finance Professional and Economic Developer. He is a member of LIDEA and several other professional and service organizations. Mike's areas of expertise are project finance, infrastructure development, geographical information systems, prospect development and site development.

Brady joined Cleco in 1987. He has 15 years of experience in economic development. He holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics and is a certified Economic Development Finance Professional. He is a member of Louisiana Industrial Development Executives Association (LIDEA). Brady's area of expertise is industrial site development.

Retired executive vice president and chief financial officer of Progress Energy, Inc., Raleigh, N.C. Also retired president and chief executive officer of Progress Energy Service Company, LLC, Raleigh, N.C.

Richard B. Crowell was elected Director of Whitney National Bank of February 17, 1982 and Whitney Holding Corporation on February 8, 1983. Mr. Crowell has been with the law firm of Crowell & Owens in Alexandria since 1970 and serves as a director of CLECO Corporation.

Robert T. Ratcliff, Sr., serves as president and CEO of Ratcliff Construction Company, LLC. Mr. Ratcliff has exercised final management oversight over all projects built since the incorporation of the company in 1974. Prior to that, he was involved in supervisory or management roles in all projects of his father's company, J.E. Ratcliff, General Contractors, from 1966 to 1974. Mr. Ratcliff holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Tulane University and has completed post-graduate studies at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Southern Polytechnic University and the Associated General contractors of America Advanced Management program.
