Mr. Ritacco brings over 30 years of banking accomplishments to his role as President and Chief Executive Officer of Community Mutual. Mr. Ritacco worked at a leading Rhode Island bank before relocating to Westchester County to become First Fidelity Bancorp’s New York Commercial Banking Manager. From there he moved to First Union National Bank of Charlotte (the predecessor bank to Wachovia) as the New York and Connecticut Corporate Banking Manager before becoming First Union’s Tri-State Corporate Finance Director. Among Mr. Ritacco’s many professional affiliations are his memberships in both the American Community Bankers Association and the New York State Bankers Association. Mr. Ritacco has committed countless personal time to Junior Achievement, where he was a director of the Hudson Valley region, following his tenure as chairman of the board.

Mr. Dowd has over 30 years of financial management expertise that he brings to Community Mutual, most recently as Chief Financial Officer of Leveraged Technology Inc. in New York. He began his ascent through the financial ranks as a senior audit manager at Ernst & Young, after which he rose from Assistant Controller to Assistant Treasurer at ASARCO Inc., an S&P 500, NYSE-traded mining and metals and specialty chemicals producer. He is a member of AICPA and NYSSCPA, where he served as an executive board member.

Mr. Strauss has spent his over 30-year banking career exclusively in New York and southwestern Connecticut, developing an unequalled understanding of this area in the process. Before bringing his considerable talents to Community Mutual, Mr. Strauss was Vice President – Credit Administration at Union State Bank in Tarrytown, prior to which he was SVP – Senior Lending Officer at a local financial institution in White Plains. The bulk of his career was spent at First Union National Bank in New York and Stamford, CT, where he rose from Branch Manager to Vice President – Risk Manager. Mr. Strauss is also a past director of the Empire State Mortgage Bankers Association.

Thomas G. Ferrara has been Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Community Mutual since January 2005. Mr. Ferrara is President of Future Value Associates, Ltd., a consulting firm for 401(k) plans, benefit plans, estate planning, insurance and variable annuities and mutual funds. Mr. Ferrara holds an undergraduate degree in Commerce from Niagara University. He completed his Masters of Business Administration at night at the New York City campus of Pace University.
