Mr. Harvey, age 58, was named Chairman and CEO of CNX Gas Corporation on January 16, 2009. Mr. Harvey has also been a Director of CNX Gas since June 30, 2005, the date of its formation, and President and Chief Executive Officer and a Director of CONSOL Energy since January 1998. Prior to joining CONSOL Energy, Mr. Harvey served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of PacifiCorp Energy Inc., a subsidiary of PacifiCorp, from March 1995 until January 1998. Mr. Harvey also was President and Chief Executive Officer of Interwest Mining Company from January 1993 until January 1998 and Vice President of PacifiCorp Fuels from November 1993 until January 1998. Mr. Pusateri joined CONSOL as an accountant in April 1974, holding various positions including supervisor accounting services and staff assistant. He transferred to the marketing department in 1977 and held progressive responsibilities as sales contract administrator, sales coordinator, and district/general sales manager for both the Pittsburgh and Cleveland sales offices.

Stephen W. Johnson, 48, has been General Counsel of CNX Gas since September 1, 2005. He was named Senior Vice President as of December 5, 2005. Prior to joining CNX Gas, he was a partner since 2001 in the Business and Regulatory Group at Reed Smith LLP, an international law firm with about 1,000 lawyers. From 1984 to 2001, Mr. Johnson was with the law firm of Buchanan Ingersoll Professional Corporation. Mr. Johnson has served as corporate, securities and mergers and acquisitions counsel to both public and privately held companies for his entire professional career. Nicholas J. DeIuliius, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, was appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for CONSOL Energy. He also will serve as President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company.
Mr. Johnson holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nuclear Engineering and a minor in Asian Studies from the University of Virginia . He has spent the past 10 years of his career working in the pharmaceutical community supporting commissioning and validation operations on a world wide basis. Mr. Johnson is an engineering professional well founded in the fundamentals of engineering and he is an accomplished linguist with the ability to converse in 6 languages. He is familiar with all types of equipment and systems including utility generation systems, process unit operation systems, and packaged pharmaceutical systems. Steve is a hands-on engineer with practical operating and commissioning experience as well as design experience with these systems. He has worked with Allan Bradley process controls, Anderson Controls, and with Emerson Delta V controls and is skilled in the operation of these control systems. Steve has been with Castle Hill Technologies since 2002 leading the Carolina Team. His experience includes commissioning and validation activities on Wyeth FSDF Vaccine facility where he is the principal manger of the interface between the Operations personnel and the Automation personnel. He has considerable experience with non-batch and batch DCS Systems including Emerson Delta V.

He currently serves as chairman of the health, safety and environmental committee and as a member of the finance committees of CONSOL Energy. Mr. Altmeyer served as president and chief executive officer of Altmeyer Funeral Homes, Inc. of West Virginia, Ohio, and Virginia from 1972 until 2007, at which time he became chairman of Altmeyer Funeral Homes, Inc. He has also been president of Altmeyer Realty, a real estate holding company, and of Martin-Steadfast Insurance Company since 1972. Since 1987, Mr. Altmeyer has served on the board of directors of WesBanco, Inc., a multi-state bank holding company, and currently serves on its audit committee. Mr. Altmeyer is also a member of the executive committee of the Wheeling Hospital Board of Directors, president of the American Legion Home Corporation, vice chairman of the Chambers Foundation and a director of the General Douglas MacArthur Foundation.

John R. Pipski, age 61, has been a Director of CNX Gas since August 15, 2005 and currently serves as a member of the audit committee. Since 2001, Mr. Pipski has provided financial and tax accounting services to business clients, through his own firm. From 1970 to 2001, he held various positions at the international accounting firm of Ernst & Young, LLP. For eighteen years at Ernst & Young, Mr. Pipski was a tax partner specializing in corporate taxation, mergers and acquisitions and tax accounting issues in the coal and manufacturing industries. In addition, he held various positions within the Tax and Audit Departments of that firm. Mr. Pipski served as a board member and treasurer of The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Pittsburgh. Mr. Pipski is a certified public accountant and earned bachelor's and master's degrees in financial administration from Michigan State University.

Nicholas J. DeIuliis is President and Chief Executive Officer of CNX Gas Corporation. At age 39, Nick is among the youngest CEOs of a large public company in America. After graduating with a degree in chemical engineering from Penn State, Nick began his career in CONSOL Energy's research and development group. While working full-time at CONSOL Energy, he obtained a master's degree in business administration and a law degree from Duquesne University, where he graduated first in his class. He quickly rose to become the Vice President of Strategic Planning of CONSOL Energy, an energy company with a market capitalization of almost $12 billion. In that role, he was responsible for optimizing the value of CONSOL Energy's assets which, among other things, resulted in the creation of CNX Gas Corporation. In just a little over two years, CNX Gas has grown from an idea to a $4.7 billion public company and is one of the premier energy producers in the industry, with a return on capital employed of nearly 14.5% in the first nine months of 2007. Recently, CNX Gas was named a semi-finalist by the Financial Times/Citi Private Bank in their first-ever Environmental Awards. In addition, Nick received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2007 Award. CNX Gas has also been featured in such publications as Business Week, American Executive, Smart Business Pittsburgh, and the Pittsburgh Business Times. Nick is a director of the Independent Petroleum Association of America and the Carnegie Science Center, and a member of the PA Business Council Policy Roundtable.
