Coeur d'Alene Mines Corp.

Dennis E. Wheeler has been Chairman of the Board of Coeur d’Alene Mines Corporation since May 1992 and Chief Executive Officer since December 1986. Previously, Mr. Wheeler served as President of Coeur, commencing in December 1980. Mr. Wheeler was our Chief Administrative Officer from December 1980 to December 1986, Secretary from January 1980 to December 1980 and Senior Vice President and General Counsel from 1978 to 1980.

Mitchell J. Krebs first joined Coeur in 1995 after spending several years in the investment banking industry in New York. During his tenure with Coeur, Mr. Krebs has held various positions in the corporate development department, including Senior Vice President of Corporate Development. Since March of 2008, Mr. Krebs has held the position of Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Krebs holds a BS in Economics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Harvard University.

Tom T. Angelos was appointed as Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer in December 2006. Prior to that, he had held the position of Controller and Chief Accounting Officer of Coeur since 2004. Mr. Angelos was previously Controller of Stillwater Mining Company from 1998 to 2004, and from 1983 to 1998 was employed by Coeur in various capacities.

Alfredo Cruzat was appointed Senior Vice President, Exploration, of CDE Chilean Mining Corporation Ltd, Cerro Bayo, in 2002. He joined CDE Chilean in 1990 and served in several exploration management positions before his appointment as Vice President of Exploration in 1996. Before joining Coeur, he was Exploration General Manager in Chile for Freeport McMoran. He also had previously served as a senior partner at a geologic consulting firm and held a position in Chile’s Geological Survey Office.

Donald P. Gray was appointed to his current postition in 2008. He previously was the Vice President & General Manager of Compañía Minera Cerro Bayo. Prior to that he served as Vice President and General Manager of Minera Hecla Venezolana. Before that, he held a series of progressively responsible senior mine management positions with Hecla, Newmont Mining, Exxon and Climax Molybdenum.

Donald J. Birak was appointed Senior Vice President - Exploration of Coeur in January 2004. Prior to that, Mr. Birak was Vice President of Exploration for AngloGold North America, Inc. and Vice President of Exploration for Hudson Bay Mining and Smelting Co. Ltd. In March 2001, Mr. Birak was co-recipient of the Bill Dennis Prospector of the Year Award presented by the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada.

Richard M. Weston was appointed to his current position in 2007. He was previously the Managing Director of CDE Australia Pty. Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Coeur based in Sydney, Australia. Before joining Coeur, Mr. Weston was the General Manager for Barrick Australia Ltd.’s Cowal Gold Project in New South Wales from 2003 to 2005. He has held numerous other mine development and operations positions with leading mining companies and was previously employed by Coeur as the General Manager of the company’s Golden Cross mine in New Zealand from 1994 to 1998.

K. Leon Hardy was appointed to his current position in 2008. He was previously the Vice President and General Manager of Coeur Argentina. Prior to that, he had been operations consulting manager for the Apex San Cristobal silver mine in Bolivia from 1999 to 2002 and from 1996 to 1998 was Operations Manager of Minera Alumbrera in Argentina. Before that, was with Cyprus Amax Minerals Company, where he held a number of increasingly responsible mine management positions.

Larry A. Nelson was appointed Vice President Human Resources in January 2008. Prior to that, Mr. Nelson served as Director Human Resources from 2005 to 2008. Mr. Nelson held the position of Human Resources at Coeur Silver Valley from 1996 to 2005. Prior to that, he was employed in corporate and site human resource positions within the mining industry since 1977.

Luke J. Russell was appointed Vice President of Environmental Services at Coeur in 2005. Prior to that, he was Coeur d’Alene Basic Project Manager for the State of Idaho’s Department of Environmental Quality. Before that, he held a series of increasingly responsible positions in the management of environmental affairs at major mining companies and was previously Director of Environmental and Government Affairs for Coeur from 1995 to 2000.

Stuart Mathews was appointed to his current position in 2008. He joined Coeur in October 2006 as Technical Director for Coeur Australia. He was named Interim Project Manager for the Palmarejo Project in July 2007. He has over twenty years of mining, exploration and geological experience in Australia, New Zealand, South America and Mexico. Prior to joining Coeur, Stuart was Geology Manager for Barrick’s Cowal Gold Mine in Australia. Stuart holds a Masters Degree in geology from the University of Canterbury, where he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in geology as well.

Kenneth L. Koski was appointed Controller in March 2008. Prior to that, he held the position of Assistant Controller since 2002. Mr. Koski was a Financial Analyst for Telect, Inc. in 2001 and from 1990 to 2001 was employed by Coeur in progressively responsible accounting positions.

Managing Partner of BlueWater Strategies LLC, a business and government relations consulting and project management firm since he founded the firm in 2002. Director of Pioneer Natural Resources Company, an oil and gas company. Previously served as a Director of Evergreen Resources, a natural gas exploration and production company based in Denver (2002-2004), Director of the National Energy Policy Development Group and senior energy advisor to the President and Vice-President (2001-2002), Majority Staff Director of the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources (1998-2001), Chief of Staff for Senator Frank Murkowski (1996-1998) and counsel for the Senate Energy Committee (1995-1996).

Mr. Thompson has been a member of our Board since April 30, 2007. Mr. Thompson is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Pacific Star Energy, LLC, a private energy investment firm. He is also Managing Director for the Alaska Venture Capital Group, LLC, a private oil and gas exploration firm. Mr. Thompson previously worked at ARCO (BP), where he served in various technical and management capacities, most recently as Executive Vice President for the Asia-Pacific Region. Mr. Thompson also serves on the boards of the Coeur d’Alene Mines Corporation and the Alaska Air Group.

Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of First Interstate Bank, Northwest Region (Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington) from October 1991 to April 1996; Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of First Interstate Bank of Oregon, N.A. from February 1991 to October 1991; Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of First Interstate Bank of Denver, N.A. from March 1990 to January 1991; Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of First Interstate Bank of Idaho, N.A. from July 1984 to March 1990.

Mr. Mellor (64) is the Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of BMHC and has served as a director since 1991. Mr. Mellor was previously Of Counsel with the law firm of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP from 1990 through February 15, 1997. He also serves as a director of Coeur d'Alene Mines Corporation, The Ryland Group, Inc., Monro Muffler Brake, Inc. and the California Chamber of Commerce. He is on the board of councilors of Save-the-Redwoods League. He does not serve on the audit committee of any of these boards. Mr. Mellor plans to transition off of one of these boards no later than the BMHC 2006 annual meeting. This transition period will allow that company ample time to find a replacement.

Previously served as President of the Latin American and Caribbean Economic Association (2001-2003) and as Chief Economist for the World Bank Group for the Latin America and Caribbean Region (1993-1996). Taught at IAE Universidad Austral in Argentina and at the Kiel Institute (2000-2004).
