After a few years without organized sailing, a few of the lake's dedicated sailors decided they needed to re-establish what once was a great club. In 2003, under the new name, Coeur d'Alene Sailing Association was born. With a lot of work, the club was organized and saw a great season. With the ongoing contributions and dedication of the ever-growing membership, CSA has improved and expanded each year since. Coeur d'Alene Sailing Association offers a broad range of sailing programs. CSA has several cruising events and social get-togethers throughout the year. A great deal of the club's tradition starts right here. The Memorial and Labor Day race/cruises to Harrison, Ship/Captain/Crew race under a full moon, and the Chocolate and Champagne Social are just some of the very fun cruises offered. In November we hold our annual meeting to relive and recap the year. The members of the club are what make Coeur d'Alene Sailing Association what it is. We are a diverse bunch that loves to sail. There is always a warm welcome to friends and newcomers alike. If competitive sailboat racing gets your blood pumping, we have that too. We offer a summer jammed with all types of racing. With events throughout the summer, there is something for everyone. We have tailored our racing program around all levels and interests. Some races are competitive while others are just plain fun.
