Mr. Coggin is chairman of Coggin Automotive Group, a subsidiary of Asbury Automotive Group, which operates 20 automobile dealerships in the state of Florida with annual gross revenues in excess of $1 billion. Having stepped down as CEO of Coggin Automotive in 2003, Mr. Coggin is now engaged in numerous outside business and philanthropic enterprises. Mr. Coggin is a director of Legacy Trust Company and serves on the board of trustees of the University of North Florida. He is the 2003 recipient of the Prime F. Osborn, III Distinguished Business Leader Award. In 2002, Mr. Coggin and his wife, Blanche, endowed the University of North Florida College of Business, which honored them by renaming it the Coggin College of Business. He also currently serves as the chairman of the board of directors of Cygnet Private Bank.
