Claudio Silvestri is responsible for leadership of Cognos worldwide information systems and infrastructure. A software and technology industry veteran, Claudio has a breadth of IT and business expertise and experience. Prior to joining Cognos, Claudio served as group vice president, worldwide information technology at Business Objects, as well as other leadership positions at Microsoft Canada, and Compaq Canada.

Rob Rose is Chief Strategy Officer at Cognos Inc., the world leader in corporate performance management software for large enterprises. In addition to working with management to set the company direction, he oversees corporate development, seeking out technology and companies that help to fulfill the Cognos vision. Rob is the author of Smooth Sailing on Rough Seas: 8 Principles of High-performance Business. He has written numerous articles about business performance management as well as technology and marketing trends for various industry publications and speaks regularly on technology industry and business topics. Rob was a founding member of the Business Intelligence Division of Cognos and managed the company's industry-leading reporting and analysis products. The division is the core driver of the Cognos business and a software industry success story. Rob often lectures at universities on topics ranging from management trends and business performance management to technology adoption and product management.

Peter Griffiths joined Cognos in 1998, and leads the product development and management teams that deliver Cognos BI solutions. Peter has more than 16 years of technology experience, including his role as co-founder and CEO of Relational Matters, a UK company that was acquired by Cognos in 1998.

Barbara Cain, vice president customer success and support, joined Cognos in 1993 and is responsible for leading the company's enterprise support programs and operations, which ensure the success of all Cognos customers. Formally holding senior management positions in the products organization, Barbara, has been engaged in the development of the full suite of Cognos business intelligence and performance management solutions. Prior to Cognos, Barbara held key leadership positions with Synergy Computing; selling, implementing and supporting Cognos solutions.

David Pratt, Vice President, Global Professional Services, is responsible for leading the Cognos consulting development and education development operations, and provides overall strategy and direction to the Cognos services organizations. Mr. Pratt is an experienced software services professional with a proven track record for developing and leading enterprise-class service organizations. Before joining Cognos, Mr. Pratt served as senior vice president, global services operations at SAP, as well as other leadership positions at SAP, PriceWaterhouse, and SystemHouse.

Eric Yau, Vice President, Product Management joined Cognos in 2005 and is responsible for product management across the full suite of Cognos business intelligence and performance management solutions. In this role, Eric, provides team leadership that ensures strategic investments, continuous innovation and a superior customer experience. Prior to joining Cognos, Eric was Chief Executive Officer of Juice Software and also held key leadership positions with SAS.

Jane Campbell, vice president product engineering, joined Cognos in 1989 and is responsible for all engineering functions globally. Jane's responsibilities include creating, testing, and delivering the company's products and solutions with a focus on quality, scalability and performance for the enterprise. Jane has more than 20 years of technical and managerial experience in the software development industry.

Prior to joining dna13, John served as VP Corporate Relations at Cognos and was responsible for a number of key stakeholders, including governments, industry associations, financial analysts and shareholders. John has extensive experience, including positions in research and development, sales and marketing, customer service and corporate communications. Before working with Cognos, John excelled in key leadership positions as Vice President, Corporate Communications for Newbridge Networks Corporation, a world leader in high capacity networking equipment for global telecommunications networks and the Internet, and Vice President, Corporate Relations for CAE Inc., the global leader in simulation, training and control systems for medical training, commercial airlines, space agencies, peacekeeping forces and power generation stations. Having spent 20 years with Nortel Networks, John held a number of progressively more senior management positions in research and development, marketing, sales, customer service and public relations in Canada and the United States. John has Bachelor and Master of Engineering Degrees in Mechanical and Materials Engineering, respectively, and has studied Management Science and Business Administration at the University of Ottawa and McGill University.

H. David Miller brings more than 30 years of business and information technology management experience in rapidly expanding companies in the computer and software-related industry, as well as in the medical device and bio-tech industries. He comes to Genitope Corporation from Abgenix, where he was vice president of information technology. Before Abgenix, he worked for two medical device companies: Somnus Medical Technologies and Heartport Inc. His extensive experience in the hardware/software sector includes executive-level information systems positions at Taligent, Cognos, DCA and MDS Qantel. David received an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BA in Economics from Stanford University.

Kelly Coburn is a senior Cognos Administrator and Data Warehousing specialist with over 15 years of IT experience. Recently, he was the Data Warehousing Supervisor at Grant Prideco, The Woodlands, TX, where he served for over 8 years implementing Cognos products including ReportNet, Cognos 8, Cognos Finance and Enterprise Planning. His achievements included implementing and maintaining their entire Cognos reporting system, administering upgrades, and building multiple SQL servers for their data warehouse. He also assumed full DBA and network administration responsibilities. His other areas of expertise include Web server implementation and support, and 3rd party application integration.

Mike has over twenty five years of experience developing and executing successful sales and marketing strategies for technology companies. As senior vice president and general manager of North American operations at Lotus, Mike led his division at Lotus to double-digit revenue growth while closing the company's single largest software license order. Mike has also held leadership positions in other high-tech organizations including Fulcrum Technologies, Cognos Inc., and LumaPath.

Nathalie Parent has served as a member of Corel's senior executive team since joining the company in April 2009. In her current role as Vice President, Human Resources, Ms. Parent is responsible for employee compensation and benefits, organizational development, talent management, succession planning and employee relations and communications. Prior to joining Corel, Ms. Parent spent 13 years at Cognos Incorporated both in Canada and in Europe, most recently serving as VP, HR, Global Operations where she was responsible for Field Operations across the Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific. Prior to her work at Cognos, Ms. Parent served as a Compensation and Benefits Consultant at Watson Wyatt Worldwide. She received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada, and she is a Certified Human Resource Professional and a Certified Global Compensation Professional. She sits on the Global Advisory Board of WorldatWork and has been a featured speaker at several conferences.

Nick holds a Bachelor of Microelectronic Engineering (Computer Systems) with Honours from Griffith University. His technical expertise in the areas of Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing and Relational Database design has lead him to become a Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA) and Cognos product expert through the highly valued achievement of the Cognos ReportNet Solution Professional certification. Nick has many years of commercial experience as a professional consultant implementing and deploying Data Warehousing and BI solutions with Cognos, Crystal, Microsoft SQL Server (6.5, 7.0, 2000, 2005) DTS, SSIS, Microsoft Analysis & Reporting Services. He is also experienced in all aspects of Visual Basic application development, .NET and T-SQL. Nick has a diverse and much sought after skill set that covers the gambit of design, development & deployment of Business Intelligence solutions as well as experience developing business process applications. Nick has many years of senior consulting experience, covering a diversity of industries including gaming, education, finance, insurance, hospitality, mining and retail.

Peter began his career in 1981 at the Time Group of Companies. Over an 18 year period, he held progressively senior roles in various divisions including Time Alarm Systems, Time Mobile Radio Systems, Time Answering Service and Time ICR where he was Vice President & General Manager for 10 years. After leaving Time ICR in 1999 he co-founded Mitercom Inc. a start up in the speech recognition space and served as its' COO until 2002 when they sold Mitercom. Peter is currently responsible for the architecture and development of advanced marketing and sales programs for companies such as the Yellow Pages, Multicorpora, Nextair and RAND Worldwide.

As Senior Marketing Manager of Informatica UK & Ireland, Suzanne is responsible for all aspects of Marketing, from lead and demand generation through to customer marketing and PR. In her current role, Suzanne's remit is to build awareness and an accurate understanding of Informatica's key messages in the market and generate high quality enquiries in Informatica's solution set. Suzanne brings a wealth of IT B2B marketing experience to Informatica and has held senior European marketing roles notably at Adaytum, Cognos Limited and Internetix.

Ron Zambonini is chairman of Cognos, Inc., a global leader in business intelligence and corporate performance management solutions. He served as CEO at Cognos for nearly 10 years before retiring from that position in 2004 and assuming the role of chairman of the company's Board of Directors. From 1993 to 1995 Ron was president and chief operating officer, and he also held senior positions in the company's research and development operations. Earlier in his career, Ron was vice president of research and development at Cullinet Software, Inc. Prior to that, he was general manager for Applied Development Corporation and also held positions at Warrington Inc. and Comtech Group International. Ron currently also serves on the Board of Directors of Reynolds and Reynolds Inc., the world's largest software company servicing automotive dealerships.

Janet R. Perna has served as a director since June 2006. Ms. Perna served as General Manager of Information Management for IBM’s Software Group from November 1996 until her retirement on January 2006. Prior to November 1996, she held various other system programming and management positions at IBM. Ms. Ms. Perna received her B.S. degree in Mathematics from the State University of New York at Oneonta.

Robert Engels is past Senior Vice President of Cognos Inc, responsible for Europe, Middle East and Africa. He retired from this position is June 2001. His father, the late Mr J.P.Engels was Chairman of Philips Industries and was knighted in The Netherlands for his services to Industry. Since his retirement Robert has been appointed to the board of Cognos Inc (Barbados), as a Non-Executive Director.

ROBERT W. KORTHALS, 73, has been non-executive chairman of Cadillac Fairview Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Ontario Teachers Pension Plan Board, since January 2007 and is a director of Cognos Inc., easyhome Ltd., Great Lakes Carbon Income Trust, Mulvihull Exchange Traded Closed End Funds and Jannock Properties Ltd. Mr. Korthals joined the Toronto Dominion Bank in 1967, was appointed president in 1981 and served in that capacity until 1995. Mr. Korthals has been a director of our Company since 2004 and is the chairman of the Compensation Committee and a member of the Audit Committee.
