Coinstar Inc.

Brian joined Coinstar in June 2003 as chief financial officer. His background includes a wealth of strategic, operational, finance and accounting experience. Prior to joining Coinstar, Brian was senior vice president of operations, chief financial officer and treasurer of RealNetworks Inc. Brian was also president and chief operating officer of BSQUARE Corporation, a software company, where he oversaw all foreign operations and managed all facets of the company’s initial public offering, and prior to that served as chief financial officer and vice president of administration of Radisys Corp., an embedded software company. Brian also had a 13-year tenure at Price Waterhouse.

Rich joined Coinstar as controller and treasurer in December 2000 and has served as chief accounting officer since March 2001. Prior to joining Coinstar, Rich was corporate controller of Concur Technologies, Inc., a software and service provider of expense management solutions. His experience also includes senior financial analyst responsibilities at Physio-Control International Corporation, a manufacturer and distributor of cardiac defibrillators. Rich is a certified public accountant (inactive).

Jim joined Coinstar in May 2004 as vice president of sales. He was named senior vice president in 2005 and chief customer officer in 2008. Jim leads the team responsible for Coinstar¹s sales and customer relationship programs across various distribution channels. Previous experience includes tenure at Meridian Consulting, and a 17-year career with The Dannon Company, where he served as vice president of sales, distribution, transportation and customer service. Prior to that, Jim held a variety of positions at Polaroid, Kahns and Company, Reily Foods Company and Procter & Gamble.

Mike joined Coinstar in December 2004 as director of sales and marketing to help build Coinstar’s e-payment business. Mike has 30 years retail and general management experience including senior management positions with National Beverage Corp., PIA Merchandising Inc. (since acquired by The Spar Group), and Impli Media, Inc.

Alex joined Coinstar in December 2005 as vice president of product strategy to help define and develop the company’s prepaid card and financial services offerings. He was promoted to corporate vice president of engineering in February of 2007. Alex has over 25 years experience holding engineering management and business development positions for technology companies including Tektronix, RadiSys Corp., and Applied Microsystems.

Carl joined Coinstar in October 2004 and is responsible for manufacturing, procurement and fulfillment strategy. His background includes more than 20 years of analytical, results-oriented management. Previous experience includes positions at Three-Five Systems Corporation, Applied Microsystems Corporation and Eldec Corporation.

Christi joined the Coinstar team in April 2005. With more than 15 years in IT management, Christi has extensive project management, team building, system implementation and change management experience. Prior to joining Coinstar, she held a variety of positions at Microsoft, BSQUARE Corporation, First Consulting Group and Deloitte & Touche.

Don joined Coinstar in March 2000 and served as corporate counsel through August 2002. In March 2002, Don assumed the responsibilities of corporate secretary and in August 2002 was promoted to general counsel. Previously, Don served as corporate counsel for NetManage, Inc. and Wall Data, Inc. Don was also an attorney in private practice in Cincinnati, Ohio, for six years.

Gretchen joined Coinstar in November 1999 and has served as vice president of marketing since 2001. Gretchen leads the team responsible for Coinstar's advertising, promotion, market research, and public relations work as well as Coinstar's Coins that Count cause marketing program. Gretchen's previous experience includes product management at Nabisco and Colgate Palmolive, two of the country's leading consumer packaged goods companies.

Peter joined Coinstar in December 2001 and is responsible for the development of new products and services. Peter’s past experience includes advising early stage technology companies for the Interactive Strategy Group, and for T3 Media, an internet professional services company. Peter has also served in various corporate development roles for GP Strategies Corporation, a New York-based investment company.

Alex joined Coinstar in September 1999 as general manager of our international subsidiary, Coinstar Limited, in the United Kingdom. He was promoted to vice president of UK operations in March 2002, to vice president of international in April 2004 and to his current position in October 2005. Alex’s prior experience includes 18 years at J Sainsbury plc, one of the U.K.’s premier supermarket chains, where he held a variety of positions involved in the management and strategic development of their retail operations.

Steve joined Coinstar in February 2004 and is responsible for driving the company's expansion into the electronic payments market. Steve's past experience includes more than 25 years leading organizations, overseeing business development for emerging markets, directing sales and new channel development, and forming strategic alliances. Steve has served as president and CEO of Applied Microsystems and held senior management positions at Radisys Corp., Sequent Computer Systems, and Intel Corp.

David M. Eskenazy, 45, has been a director of Coinstar since August 2000. He currently serves as the Chief Investment Officer of Investco Financial Corporation (a real estate development and management company in the Puget Sound region). He previously served as executive vice president and chief operating officer of R.C. Hedreen Co. (a hotel development and investment firm). He currently serves on the board of directors of ScreenLife LLC (a developer of DVD board games). Mr. Eskenazy is a certified public accountant (inactive).

George has over 25 years' experience in the development and financing of emerging growth companies, primarily located in the northwestern United States. He is a founding general partner of OVP Venture Partners (Seattle), the leading institutional venture capital fund based in the northwestern United States with committed capital exceeding US$500 million. Prior experience includes corporate finance and corporate banking positions with The First National Bank of Chicago, Rainier National Bank and with a large equity hedge fund involved in a wide range of investments. George has been involved in the financing of over 200 companies. Historical company involvement includes the following: Advanced Technology Laboratories (acquired); @Mobile (acquired); Coinstar, Inc. (NASDAQ); Data I/O (NASDAQ); Delrina (NASDAQ); Lam Research (NASDAQ); Laserscope (NASDAQ); Logic Automation (acquired); and Xilinx (NASDAQ). George is a past director of numerous companies including Foundstone, Inc. and the Washington Software Alliance and is currently a director of Isothermal Systems Research, Inc. George received his AB and MBA from UCLA.

Deborah L. Bevier, 55, has been a director of Coinstar since August 2002 and was appointed the Board of Directors’ non-employee chairperson in October 2008. Ms. Bevier has been a principal of D.L. Bevier Consulting LLC (an organizational and management consulting firm) since May 2004. Ms. Bevier also served as president of Waldron Consulting, a division of Waldron & Co. (an organizational and management consulting firm) from July 2004 to April 2006. Prior to that time, from 1996 until 2003, Ms. Bevier served as a director, president, and chief executive officer of Laird Norton Financial Group and its predecessor companies (an independent financial advisory services firm). From 1973 to 1996, Ms. Bevier held numerous leadership positions with KeyCorp (a bank holding company), including chairman and chief executive officer of Key Bank of Washington. Ms. Bevier currently serves on the board of directors of Fisher Communications, Inc. (a media and communications company), F5 Networks, Inc. (an application traffic management software company) and Puget Sound Bank.

Arik A. Ahitov, 33, joined the Board of Directors of Coinstar in May, 2008. He currently serves as a Vice President for Shamrock Capital Advisors, Inc. Mr. Ahitov has also served as a portfolio manager for the Shamrock Activist Value Fund since September 2004. Prior to Shamrock, Mr. Ahitov served as a consultant for Mitchell Madison Group, a business strategy analyst for FreeDecision, and as an investment banker at both Salomon Smith Barney and Royal Management.

Robert D. Sznewajs, 60, has been a director of Coinstar since August 2002. Since January 2000, Mr. Sznewajs has served as president, chief executive officer, and a member of the board of directors of West Coast Bancorp (a bank holding company).

Ronald B. Woodard, 64, has been a director of Coinstar since August 2001. Mr. Woodard is chairperson of MagnaDrive Corporation (an industrial magnetic coupling manufacturer). Mr. Woodard co-founded MagnaDrive in April 1999 after a 32-year career with The Boeing Company, where he held numerous positions including president of The Boeing Commercial Airplane Group. Mr. Woodard is currently a director of AAR Corp. (a provider of aftermarket support to the aviation and aerospace industry) and Continental Airlines, Inc. (a commercial airline company). He is also a director of Knowledge Anywhere (an on-line provider of employee training), the Shaw Island School Board and a trustee and chairman of the Seattle Symphony.
