Richard brings more than 20 years of experience in software development to CollabNet, the majority of which has focused on enterprise software development and organizational transformation. At CollabNet, Murray is responsible for all global software engineering efforts relating to all CollabNet products. Richard joined CollabNet as Vice President of Engineering from Reuters Ltd. (RTR.L), the global information company. At Reuters, Richard served as Vice President of Engineering where he managed Enterprise Solutions development including building the core of Reuters's strategic Market Data Distribution System and the Reuters Internet Finance Platform. He also led a global transformation initiative that established a more open, standardized and simplified development environment within Reuters. Prior to joining Reuters, Richard was with TIBCO Finance Technology Inc. where he oversaw enterprise software engineering activities in both the US and the UK. In the UK he led the creation of TIBCO Finance's first non-US product development center. Prior to TIBCO, Richard held a variety of software development and professional services management positions at Digital, British Aerospace, and GEC/Marconi. Richard holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree which he completed with First Class Honors.

Cognisync's founder Andrew Kelly has an extensive background in planning, constructing and managing collaborative developer communities. Prior to founding Cognisync, Andrew managed CollabNet's Developer Network Practice. During his tenure at CollabNet he was instrumental in the design and management of world-class developer developer communities such as Sun's Java.net, Red Hat's 108 and BEA's CodeShare, to name a few. Much of his experience was also focused on designing, building and managing corporate-sponsored open source communities such as Intel's Tianocore, Autodesk-sponsored OSGEO and Ball Aerospace's Ballforge. In addition to building communities he has helped companies such as Intel, Motorola, Lucent and Nokia formulate strategies to leverage their developer communities. Prior to his work at CollabNet Andrew spent time at EDS and IBM Global Services managing software development projects. Outside of the IT industry Andrew served as an officer in the U.S. Air Force and as a volunteer in the U.S.Peace Corps in their economic development program. Andrew holds a B.A. in Mathematics, B.S. in Meteorology and an MBA in Finance and is PMI-certified.

Prior to joining NVP, Jim was vice president and general manager of the direct e-commerce solutions division of Beyond.com Corporation, a leading online software and services provider to businesses, government agencies and individuals. Jim's division, which he created, provided outsourced e-business services to a variety of partners including Autodesk, Compaq, Hewlett Packard, Network Associates, Symantec, and 3Com. Earlier Jim served Beyond.com Corporation as vice president of operations, responsible for category management, transaction processing, demand fulfillment, and customer service. Prior to Beyond.com Corporation, Jim managed Accenture's (formerly Andersen Consulting) electronics and high technology strategy practice for North America and was a member of the firm's e-commerce core group. While at Accenture, Jim worked with senior executives to develop and implement winning business and operations plans for emerging technology companies in areas including software, Internet and online services, computers, communications equipment, and wireless broadband services. Jim has also held executive positions at Booz Allen & Hamilton and Metaphor Computer Systems, which became a subsidiary of IBM. Jim holds a bachelor of science in finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business.

Mr. Krach is responsible for the strategic direction of Ariba, the company named Best Managed Privately-held Hi-tech Company of 1998 by Red Herring magazine and named among the Hot 100 Companies of 1999 by both Upside and Red Herring. Mr. Krach was also named one of the top ten entrepreneurs of 1998 by Red Herring magazine. Prior to co-founding Ariba, Inc., Mr. Krach was Chief Operating Officer of Rasna Corporation, a mechanical computer-aided design automation software company. Mr. Krach was instrumental in Rasna's early inception, its achievement as the fastest growing privately-held software company in 1994, and its successful merger with Parametric Technology Corporation in 1995. Mr. Krach also brings ten years experience from General Motors, where he was vice president and general manager of GMF Robotics. Mr. Krach holds a B.S. in industrial engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from Harvard University.

Since 1978, Tim has led O'Reilly Media to be a catalyst for technology change by capturing and transmitting the knowledge of "alpha geeks" and other innovators. His active engagement with technology communities drives both the company's product development and its marketing. Tim has served on the board of trustees for both the Internet Society and the Electronic Frontier Foundation, two organizations devoted to making sure that the Internet fulfills its promise. He was on the board of Macromedia up until the recent merger with Adobe. He is currently on the board of CollabNet. Tim graduated from Harvard College in 1975 with a B.A. cum laude in Classics.
