CollaGenex Pharmaceuticals Inc.

Mr. Stewart joined CollaGenex in December 2003 as President and Chief Executive Officer and has been a member of our Board of Directors since December 2003. From October 1998 until joining CollaGenex, Mr. Stewart served as the president and chief executive officer of Muro Pharmaceutical, Inc., a pharmaceutical manufacturer and distributor. From 1988 to 1998, Mr. Stewart was employed by the ASTA Medica Group in a number of sales, marketing and general management positions of increasing responsibility. Prior to 1988, Mr. Stewart was employed by Sterling-Winthrop, Ltd., a United Kingdom pharmaceutical company, for 13 years in sales and general management.

Mr. Pfeiffer has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to Nitric Bio, he was the Sr. VP of Sales and Marketing at CollaGenex Pharmaceuticals, where he was responsible for all commercial activities. CollaGenex was sold to Galderma Laboratories Inc. in April, 2008. Mr. Pfeiffer joined CollaGenex in June 1997 as Vice President, Marketing and was promoted to Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing in December 2000. From September 1995 until June 1997, Mr. Pfeiffer served as Director of Marketing, Health Management Services for SmithKline Beecham. Before that he held a number of marketing and sales positions at Zeneca and Lederle Laboratories.

Mr. Powell joined the company in September 2004 from Baxter International Inc., a global healthcare and biotechnology company. He brings nearly 20 years of legal experience, including 15 years in the healthcare industry. At Baxter he held various leadership positions in the company's bioscience, international and European businesses. Prior to becoming involved in the healthcare industry, Mr. Powell worked in securities and corporate finance with Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher in Washington D.C., and in the U.K. with Guiness Mahon and Co. Mr. Powell is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Stanford Law School.

Stephen A. Kaplan has served as a director of the Company since May 2001. Since 1995, Mr. Kaplan has been a principal and portfolio manager of Oaktree Capital Management, LLC, a private investment management firm, where he co-manages Oaktree's Principal Activities Group which invests in majority and significant minority positions in both private and public companies. From 1993 to 1995, Mr. Kaplan was a Managing Director of Trust Company of the West. Prior to joining the Trust Company of the West, Mr. Kaplan was a partner of the law firm of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. Mr. Kaplan currently serves as a director of Regal Entertainment Group, a company listed on the New York Stock Exchange, Genco Shipping & Trading Limited, a company listed on the New York Stock Exchange and numerous private companies.

W. James O'Shea has served as a member of our Board of Directors since June 2007. From October 1999 to March 2007 Mr. O'Shea was President and Chief Operating Officer at Sepracor where he was responsible for successfully building that organization's commercial infrastructure. From April to August 2007, Mr. O'Shea served as Sepracor's Vice Chairman. Prior to Sepracor, Mr. O'Shea was Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing and Medical Affairs for Zeneca Pharmaceuticals, a business unit of Zeneca Inc. While at Zeneca, he also held several management positions of increasing responsibility in international sales and marketing in the U.S. and U.K. Mr. O'Shea is an Executive Board member and past Chairman of the National Pharmaceutical Council and is also a Board member of Surface Logix, Inc. Mr. O'Shea is a graduate of Liverpool Lord Byron University. He received an honors degree in applied physics from the Institute of Physics.
