Andy McDonald joined Columbia Bank on June 1, 2004 as Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer. Prior to joining Columbia Bank, Mr. McDonald was Senior Vice President and Team Leader at US Bank for their South Sound Commercial Banking Group. In 18 years of banking, he has served as a Team Leader for a Media and Telecommunications Banking Group, as well as a Senior Credit Officer and Relationship Manager. Mr. McDonald has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Washington, and a Masters in Business Administration from Notre Dame University, where he was accepted into the accelerated MBA Program and graduated with Honors. Mr. McDonald is currently a Board Member of the Tacoma Pierce County Chamber of Commerce, Pierce/Thurston County Junior Achievement, and the South Sound Boys and Girls Club. He was the Vice Chair of the Chamber's 2003 Total Resource Campaign. He served on the board of Big Brothers and Big Sisters from 1997 to 2002 and was a Founding Board Member of the American Cancer Society's Vertical Challenge Campaign.

Evans Q. "Tex" Whitney joined Columbia Bank in 1993 at the beginning of the Company's expansion into Tacoma-Pierce County. An Executive Vice President, he directs the Bank's Human Resources and Employee Development programs. Previously, Mr. Whitney was Senior Vice President and Human Resources Director of Puget Sound Bancorp, which had approximately 3,000 employees. His banking career has spanned over 35 years, concentrating on retail banking and human resources, with extensive experience in branch banking, operations and human resources. Mr. Whitney's community involvement has included his long-standing membership in the Tacoma Urban League, having previously served as Board Chair for that organization. He is currently an active member on the MultiCare Health Foundation and the Tacoma Safe Streets Board of Directors, having previously served as Chairman for both organizations. He has been active in the Washington State Drug Free Business Initiative, the Pierce County United Way, Zoobilee, the Tacoma Chamber of Commerce and the Tacoma Public Schools Business Partnership. He is a graduate of the University of Puget Sound with a degree in Political Science, and is a graduate of the School for Bank Administration at the University of Wisconsin.

Mark Brandon is Columbia Bank's new senior vice president and regional manager of Southwest Washington and Oregon. He will work from the Tacoma-based bank's Longview office. Brandon's banking career spans more than 29 years. Most recently, he was chief credit officer at First Independent and also worked for 23 years at Seattle-based Seafirst Bank, which was aquired by Bank of America in 2000. Brandon serves on the board of trustees for the Washington State University Foundation and has served on the boards of the Columbia River Economic Development Council, Southwest Washington Independent Forward Thrust and the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Washington State University and graduated from Pacific Coast Banking School with honors.

Ben is a Vice President with The Columbia Bank. He moved to Maryland in 1977 to take a job as an assistant golf professional at Chevy Chase Club, where he worked until 1980. He then left professional golf to go work for Sandy Springs National Bank, where he worked from 1981 to 1993. While with Sandy Spring Bank, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland-University College. In June of 1993, he left Sand Spring Bank to go work as a real estate appraiser with Benchmark Appraisal Group where he worked until February of 1999. At that time, he went to work for The Columbia Bank as a lender in the Real Estate Lending Division, specializing in financing commercial and residential project development and construction. He has been a resident of Columbia and Howard County since 1985. Ben and his wife Tanya have been married since 1986. Ben enjoys golf and reading in his spare time.

Andrew Finnigan joined Columbia Bank in 2003 and has been an Investment Executive with CB Financial Services since 2005. Margi Legowik joined Columbia Bank as a Financial Consultant with CB Financial Services to work exclusively with Columbia Private Banking clients. Margi has served clients in the Puget Sound region since 1997. Her conservative approach to investing is hallmarked by diversification, asset allocation and careful selection. Margi takes the time to understand the needs and goals of her clients - every relationship is designed to be a long-term, mutually respectful experience. Whether a client's goals are building wealth for college education or retirement, or preserving wealth through portfolio protection and retirement management, Margi is equipped to provide the appropriate financial strategies. Margi is a graduate of the University of Washington and is currently enrolled in the College of Financial Planning. She is active in Soroptimists International of Tacoma and City Club of Tacoma.

Paul Guilfoil joined Columbia Bank as a Financial Consultant with CB Financial Services in June 2004. Paul has served as a personal financial advisor since 1983, helping individuals and businesses implement investment decisions, strategies and programs. He holds an undergraduate degree in business administration from W.S.U., and received his M.B.A. in finance from U.W. Paul's clients appreciate his friendliness, and determination to fully understand their needs and goals before making recommendations. He has the ability to present complex financial products in a manner that is informative and useful. Randy Michelsen joined Columbia Bank as a Financial Consultant with CB Financial Services in February 1999. Randy has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry and has served investment clients in the Puget Sound area since 1988. Randy takes the time to listen to each client and understands their needs and objectives and implements a conservative methodology based upon prudent selection, sensible asset allocation and diversification. He believes this to be the best way to build lasting wealth and lasting relationships for his clients. Randy received a BA in Business Administration in 1988. His focus is in assisting clients in attaining their unique financial goals by offering a wide range of products while providing quality personal service.

John W. Garrison is a CPA, CVA and Managing Owner of our firm. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. He has also served as a Board Member of various business and community organizations including Howard County General Hospital, The Columbia Bank, Columbia Town Center Rotary Club, and The Estate Planning Council of Suburban Maryland. After receiving his B.S. (accounting) from George Washington University in 1968, Mr. Garrison began his public accounting career as a tax specialist/management consultant with Ernst & Ernst (now Ernst & Young) in its Washington, D.C. office. In his thirty-six years in public accounting practice he has acquired extensive experience in the health care, real estate, financial services, distribution, retail and construction industries, and non-profit organizations. Mr. Garrison has assisted clients in estate and family wealth planning, business valuation, business succession planning, merger and acquisition planning, development of business plans, cost containment plans, etc., including representation before the IRS and various states in income, estate and other tax disputes, and provided testimony involving litigation
