Tim Boyle has served as president and chief executive officer of Columbia Sportswear Company since 1989 and oversees operations of the active outdoor company from its Portland, Oregon headquarters. Tim's career with Columbia Sportswear began in 1970 when, during his senior year at The University of Oregon, his father, who had been running the company since 1964, died suddenly of a heart attack. Tim's mother, Gert Boyle, quickly enlisted Tim's help in order to continue the aggressive expansion that her husband had initiated and that had expanded the company's sales that year to $1 million. After struggling for two years to regain momentum, the company began to grow. By 1997, sales had grown to more than $350 million and the company went public in March 1998. Today global sales are approximately $1.3 billion. An alumnus of Portland, Oregon's Jesuit High School (1967) and the University of Oregon (1971, B.S. Journalism), Tim provides business guidance as a board member of Craft Brewers Alliance Inc., and Northwest Natural Gas Co. He is also a board member of Oregon Trout and serves as a trustee of Reed College, Youth Outdoor Legacy Fund, and Boy's and Girl's Club of America.

Mr. Timm joined Columbia in June 1997 as Corporate Controller and was named Chief Financial Officer in July 2002. In 2003 Mr. Timm was named Vice President, Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer. In May 2008 he was promoted to Chief Operating Officer and named Executive Vice President in October 2008. Prior to joining Columbia, Mr. Timm held various financial positions with Oregon Steel Mills from 1991 to 1997, rising to Divisional Controller for CF&I Steel, Oregon Steel Mills' largest division. From 1986 to 1991, Mr. Timm was an accountant with KPMG LLP. Mr. Timm is a member of the Board of Directors of Umpqua Holdings Corporation and Doernbecher Children’s Hospital Foundation. He is also a member of the College of Business and Economics Advisory Board for the University of Idaho.

Mr. Cusick joined Columbia in September 2002 as Corporate Controller and was named Vice President and Corporate Controller in March 2006. He was promoted to Vice President Finance, Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer in January 2009. Prior to joining Columbia, Mr. Cusick held various financial management positions with Cadence Design Systems from 1995 to 2002, (and OrCAD, a company acquired by Cadence in 1999), which operates in the electronic design automation industry. From 1990 to 1995, Mr. Cusick was an accountant with KPMG LLP. He is a certified public accountant.

Mr. McCormick joined the Company as Vice President of Sales in August 2006, and was named Executive Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing in October 2008. From January 2003 – August 2006, Mr. McCormick served as Chief Marketing Officer of Golf Galaxy, Inc., from January 2000 – December 2002, Mr. McCormick served as Executive Vice President – Global Sales of Callaway Golf Company, and from 1992 – 2000, Mr. McCormick served Nike, Inc. in various sales management positions, including Director – National Sales.

Mr. Fields joined Columbia Sportswear in October of 2006 as National Sales Manager for Men’s Apparel and was named Vice President of Global Sales for Apparel in June of 2008. From 2001 until joining Columbia Mr. Fields served as Director of Sales for Callaway Golf Footwear. From 1984-2001, Mr. Fields served Nike, Inc. in various sales management positions including Director of Sales for Nike Golf and Director of Replenishment.

Mr. Hanson joined Columbia in September 1989 and held various management positions in sales and marketing until 1996 when he became Director of Marketing Communications. In March 2006 Mr. Hanson was named Vice President of Marketing. From 1982 to 1989 Mr. Hanson worked for Helly-Hansen, where he served as United States Marketing Manager from 1986 to 1989. Mr. Hanson is a member of the Board of Directors for the Oregon Sports Authority.

Mr. Prentice was named Vice President of Apparel Product Innovation in November 2006 and joined Columbia in May 1984 as General Manager of Outerwear Merchandising. Mr. Prentice was named Vice President and General Manager of Outerwear Merchandising in May 2001 and was named Vice President of Global Integration, Outerwear in July 2004. Prior to joining Columbia, Mr. Prentice worked as a sales representative for Gerry Outdoor Products, a skiwear company based in Colorado.

Mr. Barnes joined the company in January 2007 as Vice President of Retail. Previously, from 2001 to 2007, he served as Director of Retail Stores at adidas. Prior to 2001, he was at Footlocker where he held various positions including Regional Vice President of the West Coast and Director of Outlet Stores. Mr. Barnes is a member of the Board of Governors of Cascade College. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of Oklahoma Christian University.

Mark J. Sandquist joined Columbia in March 1995 as Senior Merchandiser of Men’s and Women’s Sportswear and in August 2000 was named General Manager—Sportswear Merchandising. In July 2004, Mr. Sandquist was named Vice President of Global Apparel Merchandising and Accessories, Collegiate and Equipment (ACE). From 1985 to 1995, Mr. Sandquist held various management positions for Unionbay Sportswear.

Mr. Koppes joined Columbia in August 2005 as the General Manager, Men’s Apparel and was named Vice President of Men’s Apparel in November 2006. Prior to joining Columbia, Mr. Koppes held various positions at Nike, Inc. including Product Line Manager, Apparel Merchandise Manager, Marketing Director, Apparel Business Director, Global Merchandise Director and Men’s Apparel General Manager in corporate and international locations.

Mr. Nenow joined the company in May 2007 as Vice President of Footwear. Previously, he served as Vice President of Global Footwear Merchandising at Brooks Sports. Before his role at Brooks he was at Nike where he held various product line management positions in the running and outdoor categories. Prior to his footwear career, Mark was a professional track and field athlete and held the American track record for the 10,000 meters from 1986 to 2003.

Mr. Werner joined Columbia in April 2004 as the Director of Apparel Sportswear Sourcing and was named Vice President of Global Apparel Manufacturing in November 2006. Prior to joining Columbia, Mr. Werner held several key apparel sourcing and manufacturing compliance roles at Nike, Inc. during his 23 year tenure.

Mr. Bragdon became Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of the Company in July 2004. Previously, from 1999 to January 2003, he served as Senior Counsel and Director of Intellectual Property for the Company. Mr. Bragdon served as Chief of Staff in the Oregon Governor's office from January 2003 through June 2004. Before joining Columbia, from 1993 to 1999, Mr. Bragdon was an attorney in the corporate securities and finance group at Stoel Rives LLP and served as Special Assistant Attorney General in the Oregon Department of Justice in 1996. Mr. Bragdon was appointed by the Governor of Oregon as a Commissioner for the Port of Portland. He is also a member of the Boards of Directors of the Nature Conservancy of Oregon and the Portland Schools Foundation.

Ms. Popp joined Columbia in April 1997 as Human Resources Manager and in May of 2004 was named Human Resources Director. In March 2006, Ms. Popp was named Vice President Human Resources. Prior to joining Columbia, Ms. Popp held Human Resource positions at Nike from 1996 to 1997; at Avia from 1994 to 1996; and at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oregon from 1981 to 1993.

Mr. Bartels joined Columbia Sportswear in August 2008 as Vice President of Global Footwear Sales. Mr. Bartels served as Vice President of Global Sales for Keen Footwear 2006-2008 and Vice President of Sales for DC Shoes Vista (a division of Quiksilver) from 2002-2006. From 1987 to 2002 Mr. Bartels held a variety of sales management and sales leadership roles at Nike.

Mr. Tung joined Columbia in September 2003 and was named Vice President of International Sales and Operations in December 2004. He became Vice President of Latin America/Asia Pacific in October 2008. Prior to joining Columbia, Mr. Tung worked for The Body Shop as Regional Director of North Asia from 2002 to 2003. He was employed by The Rockport Company from 1994 to 2002 where he served in a variety of capacities, most recently as Vice President of Europe. From 1991 to 1994, Mr. Tung worked for Prince Racquet Sports (a division of Benetton Sportsystems) as Sales and Marketing Manager of Asia-Pacific. Mr. Tung is a member of the Advisory Board of Portland State University’s Masters of International Management program.

Bob Izumi is Canada's most popular fishing personality and one of the foremost spokespersons on the sport. For over 25 years his weekly Real Fishing Show has educated and entertained legions of anglers, both young and old, on the finer points of fishing. Bob's infectious enthusiasm and approachable demeanour have made him a "TV-buddy" to millions of Canadians and, as anyone who has ever met him will agree, he's exactly the same down-to earth guy in person. Bob's unmatched credibility in the fishing world is due in part to his incredible success as a tournament angler. In 1979 Bob Izumi became Canada's first full-time professional fisherman and in nearly three decades of competitive fishing Bob has won more than 50 major events, far surpassing any other Canadian angler. He has won multiple Angler of the Year and Team of the Year titles and he is the only Canadian angler to win the Triple Crown of fishing; capturing the Canadian Open, the Classic Championship, and Angler of the Year title in a single season. Along with his television show and tournament career, Bob is an award winning author, seminar speaker, conservationist, and radio show host. His fishing seminars regularly sell out and his Real Fishing magazine, radio show and web site consistently draw huge audiences. His expertly polished presentation skills coupled with a deep passion for fishing have kept him in demand for over two decades. All accomplishments aside, what separates Bob from his contemporaries are his amiable manner and genuine love of fishing, qualities that put him in a league of his own.

Since then, Chris has been a member of the Head Freeskiing Team and spends his time guiding for Extremely Canadian. Ain't no ski school on him! Chris has been ripping in Columbia Titanium for 5 years.

Edward S. George (age 72) became a director of the Company in 1989. For 30 years, until his retirement, Mr. George worked in the banking industry. From 1980 to 1990, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Torrey Pines Bank and from 1991 to 1998 he served as a financial consultant. Mr. George also served as a director of First National Bank of San Diego until its sale in September 2002. Mr. George chairs the Audit Committee.

Andy D. Bryant is executive vice president, Finance and Enterprise Services, and chief administrative officer of Intel Corporation. He is responsible for financial operations, human resources, information technology and e-business functions and activities worldwide. Bryant joined Intel in 1981 as controller for the Commercial Memory Systems Operation and in 1983 became Systems Group Controller. In 1987 he was promoted to director of Finance for the corporation, and was appointed vice president and director of Finance of the Intel Products Group in 1990. Bryant became CFO in February 1994, and was promoted to senior vice president in January 1999. Bryant expanded his role to Chief Financial and Enterprise Services Officer in December 1999. In October 2007, Bryant was named Chief Administrative Officer. Prior to joining Intel, he held positions in finance at Ford Motor Company and Chrysler Corporation. Bryant holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Missouri and an master's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in finance from the University of Kansas.

Mr. Albers became a director of the Company in July 1993. Mr. Albers is President and Chief Executive Officer of United States Bakery, a bakery with operations in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana and California. Mr. Albers, who has been in his current position since June 1985, joined United States Bakery as general manager of Franz Bakery in 1975.

Stephen Babson has been a member of the ESCO Corporation Board of Directors since 2003. Stephen is a partner with Endeavour Capital, the Pacific Northwest's oldest and largest private equity firm with a regional investment focus. Before accepting his position with Endeavour Capital, Stephen was a partner and chairman of Stoel Rives, LLP, Oregon's largest law firm. At Stoel Rives, Stephen worked primarily on mergers, acquisitions and public and private securities offerings. Stephen serves on the boards of directors for: Columbia Sportswear Company and the Columbia Pacific Council of Boy Scouts of America. He is also involved with the Stanford University Committee on Undergraduate Education and serves on the advisory board for Paccess, Inc. and Smart Forest Ventures, LLP. Stephen earned his BA from Stanford University, his JD from Stanford Law School and his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Businesses.

Walter Klenz has served as a member of Vintage Wine Trust's board of directors since May 2005. Mr. Klenz served as a managing director of Beringer Blass Wine Estates from 2001 until his retirement at the end of 2004. Mr. Klenz became President and Chief Executive Officer of Beringer Wine Estates in 1990 and Chairman of the board of directors in August 1997. He served in those positions until the 2000 acquisition of Beringer Wine Estates by Foster's Brewing Group Limited. Mr. Klenz also serves as a member of the board of directors of America West Airlines and Columbia Sportswear Company, both publicly-traded companies. Mr. Klenz graduated from Tulane University in 1967 with a bachelor of science in engineering and in 1968 with a masters in business administration.
