Prior to joining Commonwealth Associates, LP as a Partner, Mr. Brune was a Managing Director with Jeffries and Co in the Equity Division where he was responsible for equity sales to European Institutional clients. From 2001 2004 Mr. Brune was a Managing Director with Piper Jaffrey in the Equity Division where he was responsible for equity sales to European Institutional clients. At Piper he also was part of a team responsible for a restructuring of the European operations. From 1997 2000 Mr. Brune was a Senior Vice President with the International Equities Division of Donaldson Lufkin and Jenrette where he was responsible for equity sales primarily to German speaking Institutions. Mr. Brune led one of the most successful Sales Teams in the history of the firm. In addition Mr. Brune was actively managing money applying long/short strategies. The aggregate of these funds were approximately $120 million. From 1991 1997 Mr. Brune was a Managing Director with Alex Brown and Sons. At Alex Brown Mr. Brune was responsible for equity sales to European Institutional clients. In addition, Mr. Brune was instrumental in establishing the first European Growth Stock Conference in Monte Carlo Monaco. Furthermore Mr. Brune was actively involved in managing funds in excess of $50 million. From 1988 1991 Mr. Brune was a Vice President with Gruntal and Co US Equity Division. At Gruntal Mr. Brune was responsible for the establishment of Institutional Sales to European Institutional clients. From 1986 1988 Mr. Brune was with the Investment Banking Department of Nordberg Capital in New York. Mr. Brune received a BA degree in Political Science and Business Administration from Webster University Geneva, Switzerland.

Mr. Engelhardt joined Commonwealth Associates, LP in 2007 and is currently the Financial Operations Principal (FINOP) and Controller. He has over 20 years' Wall Street and financial operations experience. Prior to joining Commonwealth, he was the FINOP at Emmet & Co., a well-known Municipals trading firm. Other experience included positions with such companies as SG Warburg, a London based investment banking firm, Morgan Stanley, Carlin Financial, and Ferris Baker Watts. Mr. Engelhardt graduated from the Universidad Nacional de Honduras in 1983 with a degree in History. He is also licensed as a series 7, 63, and 27.
