A graduate of Emory University, Atlanta, Dr. Gerber received his MD degree from the Chicago Medical School. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine through New York University at the New York Veterans Administration Medical Center. Susan has served on the McCook Community Foundation Fund Advisory Board since 2003. She is a life-long member of the McCook community. She graduated McCook Community College and University of Nebraska at Kearney and returned to McCook to work as Clothing Buyer and Advertising Coordinator for the family business, a chain of clothing stores, for 16 years.
