Kevin Parker, President and CEO, Chairman of the Board, is a recognized technology industry leader and the driving force behind Deltek’s client-focused strategy of providing superior enterprise software, solutions and consulting to project-based businesses worldwide. Leading more than 1,200 employees in twelve offices worldwide, Parker looks to further Deltek’s industry leadership, expertise and product portfolio in a range of industries including architecture, engineering and construction; government contracting; accounting; aerospace and defense; consulting and planning; IT services and management consulting; professional services; project manufacturing; nonprofit; and systems integration.
Prior to Deltek, Parker served as PeopleSoft’s CFO from October 2000 to December 2004. He was also named co-president of PeopleSoft in October 2004. At PeopleSoft he was responsible for internal operations as well as worldwide finance and accounting functions, including administration, human resources, legal, facilities and the IT organization worldwide. During his tenure at PeopleSoft, the company significantly improved its margins, increased its cash flow and return on investments, reduced expenses and lowered days sales outstanding (DSO) to best in class levels. Prior to joining PeopleSoft, Parker served as senior vice president and chief financial officer for CRM provider Aspect Communications Corp., as well as held senior management positions at Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Standard Microsystems and Toshiba America. In addition, Parker was previously with the accounting firm of Price Waterhouse.
Parker is a Henry Crown Fellow at the Aspen Institute. In 2000, CFO Magazine named him one of 20 CFOs who would make a difference in the next decade. He received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Clarkson University where he serves on the Board of Trustees. Parker also serves on the Board of Directors for Polycom, Inc., a leading provider of unified collaborative communications solutions.

As Deltek’s Chief Marketing Officer, Bill Clark oversees the development of all marketing activities, including strategic communications, lead generation, field and product marketing, public relations, analyst relations and business development efforts. With 20 years of experience in the software industry, Clark brings a unique combination of extensive marketing expertise and technology and communications leadership to Deltek’s executive management team.
Clark previously served as Vice President of Global Product Marketing at Novell, the Massachusetts-based company offering enterprise infrastructure software and services. Before joining Novell, Clark was Executive Vice President and CMO of Mantas, Inc., a company offering behavior detection technologies that help financial services firms identify areas of risk and opportunity. Prior to Novell, Clark served as the Senior Vice President and CMO at Hyperion Solutions, where he spearheaded the company’s leading position in the analytic applications market. Clark has also held executive management positions at both IBM and JP Morgan. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Drexel University.

As Deltek’s Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales, Carolyn Parent oversees all aspects of Deltek's global sales efforts, including sales expansion both domestically and internationally. She brings nearly 20 years of technology sales experience to her post. Previous to Deltek, Parent served as national sales director at BearingPoint, a globally recognized leader in strategic consulting and technology solutions for Global 2000 companies and government organizations. As the leader of sales in BearingPoint’s Middle Market Practice, Parent grew the practice to be one of the fastest growing segments within the company. Prior to joining BearingPoint, Parent was Executive Vice President of Sales for security metrics management pioneer Sequation, Inc. Parent has also served as the vice president of commercial sales at Enterworks and Xacta Corporation, a division of leading IT solution and service provider Telos Corporation.
Parent holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Villanova University.

As the Executive Vice President of Product Development, Brehm leads Deltek’s combined worldwide Development & Quality Control efforts across all product lines and platforms. He has more than 17 years of experience in designing, implementing and providing software solutions that meet the essential business requirements of professional services firms in industries such as architecture and engineering, design, IT Services, and consulting. In his long tenure with Deltek, he has served in a variety of key product development and management roles, including Custom Development Manager, Director of Development, and Vice President of Development. These roles have allowed Brehm to bring to each his exceptional leadership, analytical skills, technology expertise and market knowledge.
Previously, Brehm served as the VP of Development for Harper and Shuman, a software company that Deltek acquired in 1998. While at Harper and Shuman, he gained first-hand experience with writing and designing project-based accounting software for architectural and engineering firms, as well as with managing at different levels of the company and overseeing the development of CFMS/RD, the predecessor to Deltek Advantage.
Brehm is a graduate of Brandeis University in Massachusetts, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. He later earned a Masters of Information Sciences degree from Northeastern University in Massachusetts.

A 21-year veteran of finance, accounting and management with extensive experience with enterprise businesses and software development, Lowrey is the Executive Vice President of Products and Strategy for Deltek. Lowrey is responsible for strategic product planning and development efforts across Deltek's product families.
Since joining Deltek in 1995, Lowrey has served in several key positions including Managing Consultant, Director of Training, Director of Time Collection Product Group, Business Development Director, Vice President of Strategy and Business Development, and most recently as Executive Vice President & General Manager of enterprise solutions. During the course of his tenure, Lowrey has played a significant role in Deltek’s product strategy and expansion efforts, including coordinating product integration for the March 2006 acquisition of Welcom.
Lowrey’s background includes 10 years of experience working in the financial departments of several government contracting firms. This experience includes a tenure as the Assistant Group Controller of Titan Corporation, a leading provider of information and communications systems to the federal government, and as Director of Finance for Digicon Corporation, a leading information technology business with expertise in networking, software development, and client-server technologies.
Lowrey is a graduate of George Mason University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree.

As Deltek's Executive Vice President of Professional Services, Rick Lowenstein provides strategic and operational direction to Deltek's global services operations. He brings more than 20 years of technology consulting experience to his post. Prior to Deltek, Lowenstein served as Vice President, North American Services, at leading product lifecycle management (PLM) provider Agile Software. Overseeing consulting, customer training, account management and application hosting services for the company, he doubled consulting revenues and grew training revenues 50 percent. Prior to Agile Software, Lowenstein held senior professional services management positions at software companies PeopleSoft, Workscape, and Sybase. Lowenstein began his professional career at Accenture and also held senior positions at Marriott International.
Lowenstein holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Florida.

As Deltek’s Senior Vice President and General Counsel, Schwiesow works closely with the executive management team and board of directors on issues of corporate security, governance and litigation. A securities and corporate law specialist, Schwiesow is a senior level attorney with 30 years of experience in a broad range of debt, equity and hybrid securities offerings, finance, domestic and international acquisitions, corporate governance, general corporate and litigation matters. Prior to Deltek, Schwiesow served as Deputy General Counsel, Managing Director and Vice President at global technology consulting company BearingPoint, where he was responsible for all aspects of general and corporate securities matters for 17,000 employees. Before BearingPoint, Schwiesow served as Vice President and Associate General Counsel for The Rouse Company for sixteen years. Schwiesow also served as the Assistant General Counsel for the Securities and Exchange Commission from 1980 to 1984, providing legal and policy analysis to the Commissioners and senior staff of the operating divisions. Schwiesow graduated from Stanford Law School and is the founding president of the Baltimore Chapter American Corporate Counsel Association.

As the Senior Vice President of Human Resources, Holly Kortright oversees all human resources functions at Deltek. With 15 years of experience leading human resources initiatives for several world-class organizations, Kortright brings strong leadership skills in human resources, consulting and organizational development to Deltek’s executive management team.
Prior to joining Deltek, Kortright was Vice President of Human Resources for Capital One Financial Corporation, where she led a team of human resources consultants in providing strategic guidance and change management expertise to the company’s IT enterprise worldwide. In seven years at Capital One, Kortright held various positions including Director of Human Resources, Director of Leadership Development and Senior Management Development Consultant. Kortright has also previously served as a human resources advisor at Mobil Oil Corporation, a consultant and project manager for Hay Management Consultants and a senior consultant for Andersen Consulting.
Kortright holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University as well as a MBA in Human Resources Management from Indiana University.

Janet R. Perna has served as a director since June 2006. Ms. Perna served as General Manager of Information Management for IBM’s Software Group from November 1996 until her retirement on January 2006. Prior to November 1996, she held various other system programming and management positions at IBM. Ms.
Ms. Perna received her B.S. degree in Mathematics from the State University of New York at Oneonta.
Joseph M. Kampf has served as a director since April 2006. Mr. Kampf has served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CoVant Management, Inc., a technology investment company, since July 2006. From 1996 until June 2006, Mr. Kampf served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Anteon International Corporation, an information technology and engineering service company. Prior to 1996, Mr. Kampf served as a senior partner of Avenac Corporation, a consulting firm providing management and strategic planning advice to middle market companies. He served as Chairman of the Professional Services Council from 2003 to 2004 and as a member of its Executive Committee. Mr. Kampf serves on the board of directors of the Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts. He received his B.A. in Economics from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.

Kathleen deLaski has served as a director since April 2006. She is also currently a Senior Program Officer at The Walton Family Foundation, managing education grants in the area of public charter school finance and school district reform. From February, 2005 to June, 2008, she was President of The Sallie Mae Fund, a charitable organization sponsored by SLM Corporation (generally known as Sallie Mae). From April 2001 to February 2005, Ms. deLaski held various other positions at Sallie Mae, including Senior Vice President, Chief Communications Officer and Senior Vice President of Consumer Marketing. Prior to April 2001, Ms. deLaski served as AOL Group Director for America Online, Inc.
Ms. deLaski received her B.A. degree in political science and English from Duke University and her Masters of Public Administration from the J.F. Kennedy School of Government of Harvard University.
Ms. deLaski is the sister of Kenneth E. deLaski and daughter of Donald deLaski, our co-founders.

Michael B. Ajouz, Managing Director, joined New Mountain in 2000. He was previously associated with Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. from 1998 to 2000, where he conducted extensive analytical evaluations in over 20 industries. From 1996 to 1998 he was an analyst in the Mergers and Acquisitions and Corporate Finance Departments of Goldman, Sachs & Co., where he evaluated and executed a number of strategic transactions. From 1995 to 1996 he was an analyst at the economic consulting firm, Cornerstone Research. He received his B.S., summa cum laude, in Economics with a concentration in finance from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, in May, 1995.
