Armando Olivera is president and chief executive officer of Florida Power & Light Company (FPL), the rate-regulated electric utility subsidiary of FPL Group, Inc., and one of the largest investor-owned electric utilities in the nation. He was appointed president in June 2003. Under Mr. Olivera's leadership, FPL has invested heavily in ensuring reliable service and meeting strong current and projected growth in demand for electric power in its vast service territory. FPL has one of the most efficient fossil power plant fleets in the nation and has taken a number of additional actions to mitigate high fuel costs. The company has implemented an industry-leading program to harden its electric system against hurricanes as well as ensure everyday reliability. Mr. Olivera joined FPL in 1972 and has served in a variety of management positions in the areas of transmission and distribution operations, fuels management, and strategic planning and resource allocation. His position before becoming president was as senior vice president of FPL's Power Systems business unit. Mr. Olivera holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Cornell University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Miami. He also is a graduate of the professional management development program of the Harvard Business School. In 2007, Mr. Olivera was appointed by Florida Governor Charlie Crist to serve on the Florida Governor's Action Team on Energy and Climate Change, which is tasked with developing a comprehensive strategy that achieves targets for statewide greenhouse gas reductions. He is the current president of the Southeastern Electric Exchange, immediate past chairman of the Florida Reliability Coordinating Council (FRCC), and a member of the board of Enterprise Florida, as well as a member of Cornell University Engineering Council and Cornell University Council.

Lewis Hay III, 52, is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of FPL Group, Inc., a public utility holding company, and is Chairman of both Florida Power and Light Company and FPL Energy, LLC. He joined FPL Group in 1999 as Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer. From March 2000 until December 2001, he served as President of FPL Groupa s competitive energy subsidiary, FPL Energy, LLC. He was named President and Chief Executive Officer of FPL Group in June 2001 and relinquished the title of President in December 2006. He was named Chairman in January 2002. Mr. Hay has been a member of our Board since February 2002 and is Chairperson of the Corporate Governance Committee and a member of the Audit Committee. In addition to being a director of FPL Group, Mr. Hay is also a director of Capital One Financial Corporation, Chairman of the Board of the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations, a director of the Florida Council of 100, a member of the Business Roundtable and a member of the Business Board of Advisors of the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University.

Carmen Perez joined FiberNet in 2004 and was named president of FPL FiberNet in January 2007 after having served as vice-president of sales and as controller and director of accounting. Prior to joining FiberNet, she served in the customer service organization of Florida Power & Light Company as director of revenue recovery. Before that, Perez served as FPL's director of corporate accounting and assistant controller. From 1982 to 1989, she was a certified public accountant with the accounting firm of Deloitte & Touche, where she specialized in the management of audits of large financial and governmental institutions. Perez holds a bachelor degree in business administration degree from Florida International University.

Armando Pimentel is the incoming chief financial officer of FPL Group, Inc. (NYSE:FPL). He assumes his new post at the end of the first quarter of 2008. Until recently, Mr. Pimentel was a senior partner in the regulatory and public policy group at Deloitte & Touche. Previously, he held audit partner positions on clients in the financial services and energy industries, and led Deloitte's power and utilities segment. Prior to these appointments, Mr. Pimentel was the partner in charge of Deloitte's accounting research department in the firm's national office. From 1996 to 1998, he worked in the Office of the Chief Accountant of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission as a professional accounting fellow. T. J. Tuscai. Mr. Tuscai, 40, is senior vice president of NextEra Energy Resources, a position he has held since December 2006. Mr. Tuscai was president of FPL Fibernet, LLC, an indirect subsidiary of FPL Group that leases wholesale fiber-optic network capacity and dark fiber (FPL Fibernet), and served in that position from May 2004 until November 2005. From November 2005 to December 2006, Mr. Tuscai was president of Gexa Energy, LP, a subsidiary of NextEra Energy Resources that provides retail electric services. From September 2003 to May 2004, Mr. Tuscai was vice president of global accounts for General Electric Capital Corporation (GE Capital), a financial services corporation, where his primary responsibility was for delivering innovative customer solutions for Fortune 100 companies by combining the value proposition from all General Electric Company businesses. He was appointed to the Management Committee by ESI GP in January 2007.

Ms. Jennings, 58, has since 2007 been the chairman of the board of Jack Jennings & Sons, Inc., a family-owned construction business which provides general contractor, construction manager and design builder services. She served as the Lieutenant Governor of the State of Florida from March 2003 through December 2006.
