Joe brings a broad base of knowledge with more than 28 years of aviation experience. He served our country for 4 years in the U.S. Air Force as a Crew Chief in the Strategic Air Command on KC-135 Strato Tankers. Joe joined The Gulfstream Service Center Team in 1981. Joe has held positions in the Gulfstream Service Center as junior mechanic, crew member, assistant crew chief, and Service Center Plane Captain. As well as building experience in mechanical systems and the heavy structural side of aircraft maintenance, Joe attended many after-hours courses (power-plant, electrical and avionics) offered by the Gulfstream Training Department. This rounded out his knowledge on the total aircraft. During this time, he supported our operators on numerous special projects in Africa, South America, and across the USA. In 1992, he joined Field Service as a Field Service Technician. He supported Gulfstream customers across the U.S.A and around the globe in China, Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, Vietnam, India, and Europe. In 1996, Joe entered another phase of Field Service as a commercial Field Service Representative, setting up Gulfstream's first Field Service office in the Boston area. After two years in Boston, Gulfstream put Joe's international experience to work in the European theater by assigning him to the Geneva Switzerland Field Service office, where he was assigned for 6.5 years supporting our customers in Central and Eastern Europe.
