Dean Factor was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He attended American University were he received his BS in Business Administration, and USC where he earned his MBA in Finance. Upon graduating from USC, Dean founded Smashbox Studio with his brother, Davis.Smashbox has grown into a worldwide cosmetics company that is distributed in over 50 countries around the world. Dean is the acting CEO of the business and oversees all business matters relating to the company. Since 2004, Mr. Rizvi has served as founder and Chief Investment Officer of Rizvi | Traverse Management LLC and related funds. Mr. Rizvi has over twenty years of private equity investing experience for his own account and as a fiduciary for institutional investors through various entities or funds as founder, principal or manager.
