Alexandre Almeida is president of Novelis South America where he leads all aspects of the company's business in the region.
Prior to this appointment in August 2008, Mr. Almeida had served as Chief Financial Officer of Novelis South America since January 2005, responsible for finance, strategy, information technology and legal functions. Formerly, he was Managing Director of Alcan Composites Brasil Ltda. from 2003 to 2005, and was previously Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer for Líder Taxi Aereo S.A.
Mr. Almeida holds a degree in Metallurgical Engineering and a Masters Degree in Computer Science from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, and also a postgraduate degree in Finance Administration from João Pinheiro Foundation.

Arnaud de Weert has been president of Novelis Europe since May 2006. In this capacity, he oversees 14 manufacturing facilities across Europe, producing rolled aluminum products for many markets including automotive, building, packaging, transportation and printing.
Previously, Mr. de Weert was the chief executive officer of Ontex, the European leader in private label hygienic disposables. He has a strong international, customer-focused background coupled with proven leadership experience in profitable, growing companies.
Prior to joining Ontex, Mr. de Weert was president, Europe, Middle East and Africa for Stanley from 2001 to 2004. Before this, he worked for GE for nine years in a variety of senior management positions in sales, marketing, customer service, logistics and finance.
Mr. de Weert, a Dutch national, has a business economics degree from Erasmus University in Rotterdam. He is fluent in Dutch, English, German, Swedish and also speaks French and Spanish. He currently serves on the supervisory board for Infineon Technologies AG.

Jean-Marc Germain is president of Novelis North America, an operating segment of Novelis Inc. In this capacity, which he assumed in May 2008, Mr. Germain leads all aspects of the company's North American activities in aluminum sheet and light gauge products for the beverage, automotive, construction, packaging and general purpose industrial goods markets. In addition, the business operates a large recycling operation that transforms recycled aluminum into starter stock for new applications.
Mr. Germain also retains responsible for developing and coordinating Novelis' global strategy in the can market, including recycling and promotion.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Germain held the position of vice president, global can. In this role, he lead the global can strategy as well as the Can Product business unit in North America. Prior to this appointment in January 2007, Mr. Germain served in the position of Vice President & General Manager, Light Gauge Business Unit.
In 2005, Mr. Germain joined Novelis as part of its spin-off from Alcan Inc., where he had been responsible for the Light Gauge products in North America since mid-2004. Previously, he had served a a member of Alcan's Integration Leadership Team associated with the company's 2004 acquisition of Pechiney. Mr. Germain held a number of executive positions with Pechiney from 1998 to 2004, most recently as Senior Vice President and General Manager, Foil and Specialties Division. Prior to that, he held positions with GE Capital in France and a number of international posts with Bain & Company.
Mr. Germain is a director of Coca-Cola Recycling LLC. He is a graduate of Ecole Polytechnique, Paris.

Tom Walpole is president of Novelis Asia. Before this appointment in February 2007, Mr. Walpole served as Vice President and General Manager of the Company's Can Products business unit, where he led the development and coordination of Novelis' global strategy in the aluminum can market since 2005.
Mr. Walpole has more than 27 years of aluminum industry experience. Prior to the Novelis spin-off from Alcan Inc. in 2005, he held a number of international positions with Alcan including Vice President, Sales and Marketing, for the Rolled Products operations in Korea and President of the Lithographic, Can and Painted Products business in Europe.
Mr. Walpole graduated from State University of New York at Oswego with a B.S. degree in Accounting, and holds a Master of Business from Case Western Reserve University.

Steve Fisher is the chief financial officer of Novelis Inc. Prior to his appointment as CFO in May 2007, Mr. Fisher had been vice president of strategic planning and corporate development since 2006. His responsibilities included formulating Novelis’ corporate strategy and originating and executing value-creating corporate mergers and acquisition transactions, as well as the potential divestiture of non-core assets. In this role, he was a chief architect of Novelis' corporate strategy and managed the discussions that led to the acquisition of Novelis by Hindalco.
Prior to joining Novelis, Mr. Fisher spent 13 years consulting with, or as part of the management team of, various energy companies. Most recently, he served as vice president and controller for TXU Energy, the non-regulated subsidiary of TXU Corp, at its headquarters in Dallas, Texas. Mr. Fisher has held significant roles in finance and accounting, strategic planning, and business development.
Mr. Fisher received a B.B.A in finance and accounting from the University of Iowa in 1993 and is a certified public accountant. He currently serves on the board of directors for Lionbridge Technologies, Inc.
Brenda Pulley is vice president, corporate affairs and communications for Novelis Inc. She has global responsibility for Novelis' corporate affairs and communication efforts, which include branding, internal and external communications and government relations.
Prior to the Novelis spin-off, Ms. Pulley was vice president, corporate affairs and government relations of Alcan from September 2000 to 2004. Upon joining Alcan in 1998, Ms. Pulley was named director of government relations.
She has served as legislative assistant to Congressman Ike Skelton of Missouri and to the U.S. House of Representatives Subcommittee on Small Business, specializing in energy, environment, and international trade issues. She also served as executive director for the National Association of Chemical Recyclers, and director of federal government relations for Safety-Kleen Corp.
Ms. Pulley currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Junior Achievement of Georgia. Until 2005, Ms. Pulley served on the Board of Directors for the League of American Bicyclists. She has also served as chairperson for America Recycles Day. Ms. Pulley earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Central Missouri State University in the United States majoring in Social Science, with a minor in communications.

Leslie J. Parrette, Jr. joined Novelis as General Counsel in March 2005. From July 2000 until February 2005, he served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Aquila, Inc., an international electric and gas utility and energy trading company. From September 2001 to February 2005, he also served as Corporate Secretary of Aquila. Prior to joining Aquila, Mr. Parrette was a partner in the Kansas City-based law firm of Blackwell Sanders Peper Martin LLP from April 1992 through June 2000. Mr. Parrette holds an A.B., magna cum laude in Sociology from Harvard College and received his J.D. from Harvard Law School.

Nick Madden is vice president of global procurement and metal management for Novelis Inc. With more than 27 years experience in the aluminum industry, Mr. Madden is responsible for the Company's metal and non-metal sourcing strategies and metal risk management program world-wide. Prior to this role, which he assumed in 2006, Mr. Madden served as president of Novelis Europe's Can, Litho and Recycling business unit, created in conjunction with the 2005 spinoff from Alcan Inc. Prior to the spinoff, he was vice president of metal management and procurement for Alcan's Rolled Products division in Europe since 2000 and was responsible for the secondary recycling business. Mr. Madden began his career with Alcan in 1979 and held a succession of positions in HR, metal management, marketing and hedging in the UK and Canada. Between 1994 and 2000, he worked as a Director in Lehman Brothers' Commodity Risk management Group and as Group Metal Manager for the Luxfer Group, a UK-based company that was sold by Alcan to a management buy-in in 1996. Mr. Madden holds a B.Sc. (Hons) degree in Economics and Social Studies, specializing in Industrial Relations, from University College in Cardiff, Wales.

Robert Virtue is vice president of human resources for Novelis Inc. In this position, he has global responsibilities for all aspects of the organization’s human resource function. Mr. Virtue was previously vice president of compensation and benefits.
Mr. Virtue has an extensive background in human resources in a variety of industries. Most recently, he served as vice president of executive compensation for Wal-Mart. Mr. Virtue spent 15 years with British Petroleum PLC in a variety of domestic and international human resources roles with assignments in chemicals, coal, refining, transportation, marketing and corporate functions.
Mr. Virtue earned a BS in Business from Boston University and an MBA from Indiana University.

Tadeu Nardocci is vice president of innovation, technology and strategy for Novelis Inc. In this role, Mr. Nardocci oversees the company's operational excellence initiatives including research and development, value based management programs and continuous improvement.
Prior to the creation of Novelis, Mr. Nardocci held a number of manufacturing and senior leadership positions with Alcan Inc. from 1980 to 2004, including Managing Director of the company’s Southeast Asian business and President of Alcan Brazil Rolled Products. With the spin-off of Novelis in 2005, Mr. Nardocci was named President – Novelis South America.
A native of São Paulo, Brazil, Mr. Nardocci holds a metallurgy degree from the University of São Paulo and has completed post-graduate programs in business administration in Brazil, Europe and the United States. He is also a member of the executive board of the Brazilian Aluminum Association – ABAL.
