Dick Kogan is the former Chairman, President and CEO of Schering-Plough Corporation. Schering-Plough is a Fortune 500 company engaged in the discovery, manufacturing and marketing of pharmaceutical and consumer products throughout the world. Karl D. Salnoske is vice president and chief information officer of Schering-Plough Corporation. Salnoske is responsible for directing the planning, acquisition, development and operation of computer, telecommunication and information systems for all corporate and divisional offices. He is also responsible for establishing the technical infrastructure and setting strategic guidelines for use of information systems technology throughout the company. Salnoske joined the company in November 2004 from Adaptive Trade, where he was president and chief executive officer. Robert Bertolini is executive vice president and chief financial officer of Schering-Plough Corporation. Bertolini joined Schering-Plough in his present position in November 2003. He is responsible for building a dynamic global finance team that comprises key financial areas, including taxes, accounting, internal audits, financial asset management, external financial relations, investments for employee benefit plans, and risk management and insurance. Additionally, he has responsibility for global information technology and business development. In his previous role at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Bertolini managed the global pharmaceutical industry practice. He has extensive experience in audit, financial controls and corporate governance as well as in acting as a senior adviser to top management on financial and general business issues, including licensing and M&A transactions. Bruce R. Ian McInnes, Ph.D., is senior vice president and president, Global Supply Chain (GSC), for Schering-Plough Corporation. McInnes joined Schering-Plough as senior vice president, Global Supply Chain, in May 2004. In his present position, he is responsible for the supply of products to Schering-Plough's customers worldwide, including human prescription medicines as well as animal health and consumer health care products. He leads the development and implementation of a global manufacturing strategy to integrate all manufacturing facilities worldwide, including those of Organon and Intervet. Additionally, he is responsible for the Company's global procurement activities. McInnes came to Schering-Plough from Watson Pharmaceuticals, Inc., where he held the position of executive vice president, Supply Chain. He previously was employed by Pharmacia Corporation as senior vice president, Global Supply, and was an elected officer. While with Pharmacia, McInnes was responsible for the quality and supply functions at 44 plants around the world. Having spent his entire career in the pharmaceutical industry, McInnes has held positions of increasing responsibility at GlaxoSmithKline, Baxter Healthcare and AstraZeneca. McInnes holds both a B.S. degree in manufacturing technology and manufacturing management and a Ph.D. degree in manufacturing engineering and systems from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland.

John B. Landis, Ph.D., is senior vice president, Pharmaceutical Sciences, for Schering-Plough Research Institute, the pharmaceutical research arm of Schering-Plough Corporation. Landis joined Schering-Plough in his present position in September 2003. In this role, he is developing and implementing strategies for Schering-Plough Research Institute's pharmaceutical sciences function, comprising analytical, chemical, pharmaceutical, biological, global clinical supplies and the compliance and R&D quality assurance organizations. Peder K. Sean McNicholas is senior vice president, Cardiovascular Products and U.S. Sales, for the Global Pharmaceutical Business of Schering-Plough Corporation. McNicholas chairs the U.S. Executive Team charged with delivery of the U.S. sales and profit targets. In this role, he has day-to-day management responsibility for the U.S. sales group. On a global basis, McNicholas is responsible for the cardiovascular portfolio at Schering-Plough, namely INTEGRILIN, an injectable IIb/IIIa antiplatelet drug, and the cholesterol management therapies ezetimibe (ZETIA) and ezetimibe/simvastatin (VYTORIN), both part of a joint venture with Merck & Co., Inc., in Europe and the U.S. In Japan, McNicholas represents Schering-Plough with ezetimibe (ZETIA) as part of a joint venture with the Bayer Corp. In addition, McNicholas co-chairs the Cardiovascular and Metabolic Discovery and Development Team and leads commercial implementation plans for the corporation's pipeline projects. He is Schering-Plough's representative at PhRMA. McNicholas joined Schering-Plough in 2002 as vice president, Marketing, with responsibility for Schering-Plough's allergy, respiratory and dermatological franchises. John M. Carroll is vice president, Global Internal Audits, for Schering-Plough Corporation. He is responsible for directing the internal auditing activities of the company worldwide. Carroll joined Schering-Plough in his current position in July 2006. He is a member of the Operations Management Team and an elected officer of the company. Lisa W. DeBerardine is vice president, Strategic Planning & Financial Forecasting, for Schering-Plough Corporation. DeBerardine is responsible for the corporate planning and forecasting function and certain strategic projects. DeBerardine joined Schering-Plough in 1985 and since that time has held positions of increasing responsibility in Research, Pharmaceutical Operations and Investor Relations. Steven H. Koehler is vice president and controller of Schering-Plough Corporation. Koehler joined Schering-Plough in March 2006 from The Medicines Company, where until his departure he served as senior vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer. During his career, Koehler held senior positions in the finance divisions at several pharmaceutical companies. He served as vice president and chief financial officer at Vion Pharmaceuticals. He also was vice president, Finance Americas, for the Knoll Pharmaceuticals Company, the U.S. pharmaceutical unit of BASF. While at BASF, he spent four years as vice president, global finance and controller, based in Germany. He also had divisional finance lead positions at Baxter International Inc. Koehler, a Certified Public Accountant, began his career in the auditing profession with Arthur Andersen LLP. He holds a B.A. from Duke University, Durham, N.C., and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University, Evanston, IL.

Dr. Sumant Ramachandra brings nearly 20 years of healthcare experience and strong leadership abilities to his role as senior vice president, Research & Development (R&D) and Medical Affairs, and chief scientific officer of Hospira, Inc. Prior to joining Hospira in July 2008, Dr. Ramachandra spent much of his career leading scientific advancements for some of the industry's largest pharmaceutical companies, including Merck, Pharmacia, Pfizer and Schering-Plough. As an R&D business leader, Dr. Ramachandra set in motion several therapy programs that would benefit patients living with cancer -- such as Camptosar® (irinotecan hydrochloride injection) and Aromasin® (exemestane tablets) at Pfizer, and Temodar® (temozolomide capsules) at Schering-Plough. He was responsible for formulating innovative strategies and executing R&D plans that resulted in successful U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approvals. Dr. Ramachandra's award-winning work is also widely recognized through publications. He has participated in a multitude of scientific studies on tumor cell biology and immunology as well as authoring book chapters about basic cell biology and oncology. Additionally, he has filed several product patents for various cancer treatments and the use of antibodies in cancer therapy. He earned a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from Rutgers University, graduating with high honors. Dr. Ramachandra then pursued a combined M.D./Ph.D. degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry - New Jersey Medical School, earning the University's Medal of Excellence and subsequently conducting his residency at the Harvard-affiliated Massachusetts General Hospital. He is now nearing completion of a master's of business administration at Wharton Business School.

Susan Ellen Wolf is corporate secretary, associate general counsel and vice president-Governance of Schering-Plough Corporation. Wolf and her team are responsible for providing legal counsel with respect to securities law, corporate governance (including the annual meeting of shareholders), director/executive compensation, corporate law, financings and employee compensation/benefits. The director-Strategic Affairs is a member of her office and has responsibility for the company's Social Issues Program. Wolf joined Schering-Plough in 2002 as senior director, Corporate Law, and in 2003, was appointed staff vice president, Corporate Law. She was appointed Corporate Secretary in May 2004, named vice president-Corporate Governance in 2005 and became a member of the Operations Management Team in 2007. Prior to joining the company, Wolf held in-house positions at Contel Corporation (now part of Verizon), Baltimore Gas and Electric Company (now Constellation Energy Group), The Coca-Cola Company and Delta Airlines, Inc. Wolf was recognized by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for her work in the plain English program. She has served as chair of the Society of Corporate Secretaries and Governance Professionals; chair of the Society's Securities Law Committee; and a member of the Board of the Council of Institutional Investors. She is vice chairman of the Securities, Commodities and Exchanges Subcommittee of the American Bar Association Section on Administrative Law and is on the advisory board of the SEC Historical Society. She is also a member of the International Corporate Governance Network. Wolf earned a B.A. degree, with honors, in sociology from Emory University, Atlanta, Ga., and a J.D. degree from George Washington University, Washington, D.C. She is a member of the Maryland and Georgia bars.

Dr. Kornberg has been a director since April of 1991. He is a distinguished author and researcher who was chairman and founder of the Department of Biochemistry at the Stanford University School of Medicine. Dr. Kornberg received the Nobel Prize in 1959 for his discovery of the enzymatic synthesis of DNA. His present research is on the genetics, biochemistry, physiology and clinical relevance of inorganic polyphosphate. He is the author of "DNA Replication," one of the basic textbooks of biochemistry. Dr. Kornberg was a founder and is a member of the Boards of Scientific Advisors of DNAX, now a wholly owned subsidiary of Schering-Plough Corporation, and Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a biotechnology company focused on neurobiology, and is a member of the Board of Scientific Advisors of Maxygen, Inc., a biotechnology company focused on molecular evolution technology.

Brenda S. "Sue" Fulton is a 1980 graduate of the US Military Academy with the first class to admit women. She served for five years in the Signal Corps, as a company commander and staff officer in Germany. After leaving the Army, Sue worked in brand management at Procter & Gamble and Church & Dwight; she also took two years to work in parish renewal programs for the Archdiocese of New York. Sue is currently a brand director of OTC Brands for Schering-Plough and lives in North Plainfield, NJ, with her partner Penny Gnesin. Sue serves as an at-large board member for Knights Out.

Gary L. Riddle, MPA., is a Senior Government Affairs Manager for Schering-Plough Corporation. While serving in this capacity for Schering-Plough since 2003, Gary has maintained government affairs responsibilities for the Mid-Atlantic area, including the states of Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and the District of Columbia. In his current capacity, Gary also assists with the coordination of advocacy campaigns within the profession of pharmacy and other pertinent health professional organizations. Prior to joining Schering-Plough, Gary served as a state government affairs manager for the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists from 2000-2003 and worked as a fundraiser for Inova Health Systems in Northern Virginia from 1998-2000. His educational background includes a BS in Healthcare Administration from James Madison University and a Master's of Public Administration from The George Washington University.

Dr. Barnett is a successful drug development executive who brought four drugs to the marketplace during his tenure at Schering-Plough, two of which were blockbusters. His career was spent in Drug Discovery, where he led the effort that resulted in the discovery of Claritin, a non-sedating antihistamine that was Schering-Plough's leading product and the fifth leading drug, based on sales, in the world. Dr. Barnett managed a discovery program that led to Doral, a sedative-hypnotic that was out-licensed by Schering. Dr. Barnett and his colleagues made a major contribution to the field of dopamine receptors by discovering and developing the first D1 receptor antagonists. He managed the discovery program that led to Zetia, a novel cholesterol-lowering agent that was introduced to the market in November 2002, and to Clarinex, the successor to Claritin. In 1994, Dr. Barnett assumed the duties of Vice President of Technology Acquisition and External Collaborations with the objective of facilitating all areas of drug discovery based collaborations for SPRI.

Bin Chen is currently a senior researcher for Schering-Plough in New Jersey. He started his research career in 1990 when he graduated from Department of Applied Chemistry, University of Science and Technology of China, and joined Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences (RCEES), Chinese Academy of Sciences. He got a Master's degree in Environmental Chemistry during his stay in RCEES. In 1996, he moved to the United States and studied at University of Minnesota. He got his Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from University of Minnesota in 2001. He then conducted postdoctoral studies at University of Minnesota and University of Kansas before he joined Schering-Plough in 2003. Bin Chen became a Christian in 1997 and was baptized at Twin Cities Chinese Christian Church (TCCCC). He was one of the founders of New Life Fellowship in TCCCC, a fellowship mainly serving students and scholars from mainland China. He served passionately as the co-ordinator of NLF before he left Minnesota in 2002. For a long time Bin Chen has had the burden to serve his motherland with his knowledge and Christian worldview. He is especially interested in introducing and developing "clean technologies" that are essential for China to achieve "sustainable development." He has been seeking God's leading towards this direction. He is excited about the vision of SPUC and will be involved in designing academic programs for SPUC.

Chris Pepler has over 20 years experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry. He began his pharmaceutical career as a sales representative at Fisons and was rapidly promoted through a series of sales and marketing positions before being appointed as a Divisional National Sales Manager in 1984. In 1993 Chris joined Schering Plough in the UK where he oversaw 3 national sales forces. In all his pharmaceutical company roles Chris increased the performance of his sales teams and was instrumental in driving sales force excellence. Chris joined Innovex UK in 1997 and used his experience gained within pharma to drive the development and implementation of innovative outsourced sales solutions for a wide range of customers. Chris now has a world-wide remit as Vice President, Global Sales and Operations for Innovex. He is responsible for developing and executing creative portfolios based sales solutions that often encompass multiple countries.

David Briscoe joined Protherics in November 2004 to build Protherics' commercial activities within the EU. He joins the company after spending over 25 years in sales and operational roles, mainly in oncology, with companies such as Chiron, Bristol Myers, Schering Plough and Incyte.

Dennis Groves, a principal since 2000, is Chairman of Oliver Wight Americas as well as President of Oliver Wight International. He has more than 35 years of experience as a consultant and a practitioner and has worked with process and discrete manufacturers in consumer goods, foods, pharmaceuticals, and many other industries. Among his client companies are Solutia, Schick & Wilkinson Sword, Watson Pharmaceutical and Schering-Plough. He has taught numerous classes in Sales & Operations Planning, supplier planning and control, integrated planning and scheduling, data structures and bills of material, and inventory record accuracy. Prior to joining Oliver Wight, Dennis played key roles in several successful Class A MRP II implementations. Over the years, his supply chain management (SCM) experience has ranged from strategic, high-level issues to practical, yet critical areas such as supplier scheduling.

Mike Zampella was an Information Technology manager with Lucent Technologies in Murray Hill, New Jersey until his recent retirement. Mike managed the installation and maintenance of remotely installed systems and is involved in Year 2000 compliance for those systems. Mike has 20 years of Records Management experience including Forms Management, microfilm/microfiche operations manager, and records management systems manager. Mike is now with Schering-Plough Corp. as a Senior Records Analyst. He is responsible for all the Corporate Center Records Retention schedules and also serves as web content manager for the Records Management portion of the Schering website. He has served on the Northern New Jersey ARMA Board of Directors holding many positions including President. He was Chapter Member of the year in 1990 and 2001 and won the Website of the year award in 2000. Mike is currently the Webmaster of the Chapter's web site - www.armannj.org.

Michael Schiff, Vice President, is a 6-year veteran at PILM and leads our client service team. He has extensive experience in developing and executing relationship marketing programs, and has worked for a wide range of clients including J&J, ConAgra, Schering-Plough, Abbott Labs, BP/Castrol and many others. Prior to joining PILM, Michael was an account manager at NPD Group. Michael has degrees from Northwestern University and DePaul University (Kellstadt School).

Neal Erps, joined QPS in August 2006 as Director, Business Development, Multisource with over 25 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical industry. He is responsible nationally for all Generic Bioanalytical Business in the U.S. Neal's prior experience was in operations, logistics, Business Development, Sales & Marketing Management with such companies as Schering Plough, Mayne Pharma, Alpha Therapeutics, Bioniche Pharma and LyphoMed Inc. in different capacities.

Paul E. Ziajka, M.D., Ph.D., is chief medical officer. Ziajka, one of the nation's foremost experts in the field of lipid (or cholesterol) management, brings to Atherotech considerable expertise in the use of expanded lipid testing and the VAP (Vertical Auto Profile) Cholesterol Test for the diagnosis and treatment of coronary artery disease. He is the founder and director of the Florida Lipid Institute and is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Florida at Gainesville and the Department of Clinical Sciences at Florida State University School of Medicine. Ziajka is a renowned researcher and speaker on the diagnosis and treatment of lipid disorders and the use of lipid subfractionation, making presentations across the United States for pharmaceutical leaders, including AstraZeneca, Merck, and Schering-Plough. He also is a member of the American Heart Association's Atherosclerosis Scientific Council and has authored more than 45 books, monographs, papers, and abstracts. Ziajka earned a bachelor's degree in biology and physics, a master's degree in physics, and a doctorate in physics from the University of Miami, Coral Gables. He earned his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine.

Wayne A. Newell is Managing Director of the Diversity practice at Epsen Fuller | IMD and its affiliate, Corporate Search Technologies. With fifteen years of experience, Wayne directs the firm's diversity initiatives and strategic staffing solutions practice and has worked with clients including Schering Plough, Aventis, and Dun & Bradstreet among others. Prior to forming CST, Wayne was Managing Director at Management Alliance Group, Inc., where he successfully executed searches spanning all industries and disciplines, including legal, sales, finance and human resources. In an earlier assignment, Wayne was Vice President at Koontz, Jeffries and Associates, Inc., where he launched their Legal, Marketing and Technical Services Department. Early in his career, Wayne was a consultant at Management Recruiters, Inc., where he conducted mid- to high-level searches in the environmental, health and safety areas. While there, he was in the top 10% of producers for three consecutive years. Wayne is very active in the community participating on numerous charitable foundations, is an avid cyclist, received his BA in Marketing from Kean University and resides with his wife and children in Summit, New Jersey.

Arthur F. Weinbach currently serves as executive chairman of Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc., a leading full-service outsourcing provider to the global financial industry. In addition to Broadridge and CA, Arthur also serves on the board of Schering-Plough Corp. and is on the board of trustees for New Jersey SEEDS, an academic and leadership program for high-achieving, low-income youth. Previously, Arthur spent 28 years at Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (ADP), where he served in senior executive roles with increasing levels of responsibility. Until November 2007, Arthur served as ADP's non-executive chairman, from 1998-2006 as chairman and CEO, and from 1996-1998 as president and CEO. Earlier, Arthur was a partner in the accounting firm of Touche Ross & Co., which is now part of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu. Arthur has also served on the boards of ADP, First Data Corporation, Inc., Health Plan Services Corp. and Decision One.

Ms. Neese has over 20 years of consulting and industry experience. She is currently the Vice President for Strategic Partnerships at McKesson Corporation, where she specializes in relationship and business development. Prior to joining McKesson, Ms. Neese was a senior consultant in the eConsulting Group at Digineer, a technology and management consulting firm. In addition to providing consultation about cost/quality programs and web-based virtual staff offerings, Ms. Neese represented Digineer at educational forums, eHealth symposia and medical society meetings. In her previous position as vice president of Corporate Services at Phycor, Inc., she had fiscal and operational responsibility for enterprise-wide initiatives including Internet and e-commerce strategies for both the clinical delivery and the physician practice management sectors. Ms. Neese helped lead the rapid growth of the company from an organization with six clinics and 300-hundred physicians to a $1.4 billion organization with 55 clinics, 26 IPAs, and 26,000 physicians in seven years. Helen Neese studied at the University of Missouri where she earned both her bachelor's and master's degree. She sits on advisory boards for AstraZeneca, Glaxo Wellcome, MGMA, Merck & Co., Ofstead & Associates, Organon, Roche Laboratories, Schering Plough, Searle Pharmaceuticals, TAP Pharmaceuticals, and Bayer Pharmaceuticals. Helen has also served as chairman of the Vanderbilt University Center for Health Services.

Nicholas J. Hart has joined Emisphere Technologies, Inc. as vice president of strategy and development. In this capacity, Mr. Hart will be responsible for the planning and commercial development aspects of the company's Eligen technology. Mr. Hart joins the company with more than 16 years of commercial experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Most recently, he was leader of the Contraception Therapy Area and a member of the corporate executive leadership team for Organon, recently acquired by Schering Plough.
