Ellen and Melvin Gordon Professor of Medical Education, Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery, and former Master of the Oliver Wendell Holmes Society at the Harvard Medical School and former Professor at the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology; and Orthopaedic Surgeon-in-Chief, Emeritus, at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.
Dr. White previously served as the Chief of Spine Surgery at Beth Israel and Director of the Daniel E. Hogan Spine Fellowship Program. He is a graduate of the Stanford University Medical School, holds a Ph.D. from the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm and an A.B. from Brown University, and graduated from the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School. Dr. White is a recipient of the Bronze Star, which he earned while stationed as a Captain in the U.S. Army Medical Corps in Vietnam. He is an internationally known and widely published authority on biomechanics of the spine, fracture healing and surgical and non-surgical care of the spine. He is nationally recognized for his work in medical education, diversity, and issues of health care disparities. Dr. White is a director of OrthoLogic Corp. (trade name Capstone Therapeutics).

Regina E. Herzlinger is the Nancy R. McPherson Professor of Business Administration Chair at the Harvard Business School. She was the first woman to be tenured and chaired at Harvard Business School and the first to serve on a number of corporate boards. She is widely recognized for her innovative research in health care, including her early predictions of the unraveling of managed care and the rise of consumer-driven health care and health care focused factories, two terms that she coined. Her research has been profiled in industry journals and business publications such as The Economist and Fortune. She has won the American College of Healthcare Executives' Thompson Book of the Year Award twice, Academy of Healthcare Executives Research Award three times, the HFMA's Board of Directors award, and Management Accounting's research prize. She was also elected one of the "100 Most Powerful People in Healthcare," Modern Healthcare, 2004, 2003. Mrs. Herzlinger is a member of the U.S. Secretary of the Air Force Advisory Group and has been a board member of 12 publicly-traded firms. She has been honored by many women's organizations, including the Girl Scouts of the USA and the National Women's Economic Alliance. Her latest books include Consumer-Driven Health Care (2004) and the best-selling Market-Driven Health Care (1999). Mrs. Herzlinger received her Bachelor's Degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and her Doctorate from the Harvard Business School.
"Sam R. Leno is Executive Vice President of Finance and Information Systems and Chief Financial Officer at Boston Scientific Corporation. Sam joined the Company in 2007.
Previously, Sam served as the Executive Vice President, Finance and Corporate Services and Chief Financial Officer at Zimmer Holdings, Inc., a position to which he was appointed in December 2005. From October 2003 to December 2005, he served as Executive Vice President, Corporate Finance and Operations, and Chief Financial Officer of Zimmer. From July 2001 to October 2003, Sam served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Zimmer. Prior to joining Zimmer, Sam served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Arrow Electronics, Inc. from March 1999 until he joined Zimmer. Between 1971 and March 1999, he held various chief financial officer and other financial positions with several U.S. based companies. He previously served as a U.S. Naval Officer.
Sam earned a B.S. in Accounting from Northern Illinois University and an M.B.A. from Roosevelt University.
