Brandon C. Bethards is Chief Executive Officer of The Babcock & Wilcox Company (B&W), headquartered in Lynchburg, Va. Mr. Bethards assumed this position in November 2008. B&W is a global energy company that focuses primarily on fossil and nuclear technologies development, management, operations, and technical services. With locations around the world, B&W has projected revenues of $3 billion and employs over 20,000 people. Prior to his appointment as CEO, Mr. Bethards was president and chief operating officer of the Babcock & Wilcox Power Generation Group, Inc., a major operating unit of B&W. In this role, he was responsible for all of the company's worldwide fossil power-related operations, divisions and subsidiaries. Previously, Mr. Bethards was president and chief operating officer of The Babcock & Wilcox Company's Fossil Power Group. He also has served as senior vice president and general manager of the company's Fossil Power Division, directing the worldwide operations of the company's boiler business, environmental products and services, international service projects, Asian ventures and global product licensing. Mr. Bethards joined the company as a field service engineer. Following a series of increasingly more responsible positions, he was named district engineer in 1980. Three years later, he was named general manager Industrial Power Generation, Sales and Service, Southwest region. From 1987 to 1992, he served as general manager, Sales and Service, Power Generation Group, South region, until he left B&W to become president and chief operating officer, Kvaerner Pulping Inc., and president and chairman of the board, Kvaerner Pulping Ltd. He rejoined B&W in 1996 as vice president of business development, focusing on strategic planning, mergers, acquisitions and alliances, and serving as executive sponsor for B&W's global pulp and paper activities. He was subsequently named vice president and general manager, Global Sales and Service, where he managed B&W's worldwide sales and field service activities. A native of Dieterich, Ill., Mr. Bethards graduated from the University of Illinois with a bachelor of science degree in industrial engineering. In 1989, he completed the Executive Development Program at Northeastern University's College of Business Administration in Boston, MA. Mr. Bethards is a registered Professional Engineer in Texas.
Francis S. Kalman was appointed to the Board of Directors upon the recommendation of Pride's Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee. Mr. Kalman was also appointed to the Company's Audit Committee. Mr. Kalman has been Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of McDermott International, Inc. since February 2002 and has held other senior executive positions over the past decade.

Steve Sheen, Vice President, has over thirty years of human resources experience, principally in the mining industry. He is married with five children. His recreational interests include reading and hobby electronics. An Associate Fellow of the Australian Human Resources Institute, his professional interests include the design of expatriate salary and benefits systems.
From April 1995 until his retirement in April 2003, Mr. McWilliams was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Cooper Industries Ltd., a worldwide manufacturer of electrical products, tools and hardware. He was Vice President of Cooper Industries from 1982 until April 1995.
Until his retirement in October 2006, Mr. Bookout was a director of McKinsey & Company (a global management consulting firm) since 1983. He worked with McKinsey since 1978, most recently as Leader of its Global Industry Practices from 2000 to 2005. He also serves as a director of Tesoro Corporation.

Admiral Mies is President and Chief Executive Officer of The Mies Group, Ltd., a consulting firm. Admiral Mies retired from the United States Navy in 2002 following 35 years of service. A nuclear submariner, Admiral Mies commanded United States Strategic Command for four years prior to retirement. Following his military service, Admiral Mies served as a Senior Vice President of Science Applications International Corporation and as President and Chief Executive Officer of its wholly-owned subsidiary, Hicks and Associates until September 2007.
