Angelo Brisimitzakis has led Compass Minerals as president, chief executive officer and a member of the board of directors since 2006.
Prior to joining Compass Minerals, Dr. Brisimitzakis was executive vice president and general manager of Great Lakes Chemical Corporation's flame retardants and performance products segment.
Dr. Brisimitzakis joined Great Lakes Chemicals in 1998 as vice president, global supply chain, after 14 years with General Electric Corporation where he held leadership positions in sales, technology, business development, supply chain and business management functions.
Dr. Brisimitzakis holds a Ph.D. in chemistry from New York University and an M.B.A. in marketing from Pace University in New York City. He is a member of the board of the National Association of Manufacturers.
Michael E. Ducey was appointed the President and Chief Executive Officer of Salt Holdings in December 2002. Mr. Ducey joined Compass Minerals as the President and Chief Executive Officer on April 1, 2002. Prior to joining Compass Minerals, Mr. Ducey worked approximately 30 years for Borden Chemical, a $1.4 billion diversified chemical company in various positions including President and Chief Executive Officer (December 1999 to March 2002) and Executive Vice President and Chief Operation Officer (October 1997 to December 1999).

Rodney Underdown was named chief financial officer of Compass Minerals in 2001, with responsibility for all aspects of financial management, including accounting, reporting, tax, internal audit, capital investment management, financial planning and investor relations. During his tenure, Compass Minerals has raised more than $2 billion in capital markets transactions.
Before becoming chief financial officer, Mr. Underdown was vice president of finance at IMC Salt, a Compass Minerals predecessor, from 1998 through 2001. He previously served as director, SEC reporting, at Harris Chemical Group, Inc., also a predecessor to Compass Minerals.
A certified public accountant, Mr. Underdown served as an audit manager and staff member at Arthur Andersen, a public accounting firm, from 1988 through 1997.
Mr. Underdown holds a B.S. in accounting and business administration from Southwest Baptist University.
David Goadby became vice president, strategic development in 2006, with responsibility for identifying and developing initiatives to deliver long-term profitable growth for the company.
Prior to that appointment, Mr. Goadby served as managing director of Compass Minerals Europe and its subsidiary Salt Union from 1994 to 2006. During his tenure, he restructured the company by divesting part of the business and refocusing on new initiatives including the DeepStore records management business.
Mr. Goadby was involved in the creation of Salt Union in 1992 when it was formed from the salt business of Imperial Chemical Industries (ICI). He joined ICI in 1972.
Mr. Goadby served for three years as president of EuSalt, the European Salt Producers' Association, where he led a successful restructuring of the group.
Jerry Bucan joined Compass Minerals as vice president and general manager of its consumer and industrial business in November 2007.
Mr. Bucan came to Compass Minerals with broad experience in running consumer products businesses, holding positions of increasing responsibility in finance, supply chain, strategic planning, marketing, sales and P&L management with consumer products companies such as ConAgra, Dean Foods, Mission Foods, Nestle Food Company and Kimberly-Clark.
Mr. Bucan holds a B.S. in psychology and sociology and an M.B.A. in finance from the University of Wisconsin.
Jack Leunig joined Compass Minerals in 2008 as vice president of manufacturing and engineering, with responsibility for the operation, productivity, and efficiency of the company's manufacturing and mining operations. Mr. Leunig is also responsible for the management of the company's engineering resources. Prior to joining Compass Minerals, Mr. Leunig was with Johns Manville, most recently as vice president of operations for the firm's $1.2 billion building products division. Prior to joining Johns Manville in 2004, Mr. Leunig held manufacturing and supply chain leadership roles with Great Lakes Chemical, Allied-Signal/Honeywell International and General Electric. Mr. Leunig holds a B.S. in chemical engineering from the University of Maine.
Keith Clark was named vice president and general manager of Compass Minerals’ North American highway business in January 2008, bringing 25 years of mining and minerals experience to the role.
Mr. Clark joined Compass Minerals in 1995 as vice president of manufacturing and became vice president and general manager of the company's consumer and industrial business in 1997. Prior to joining Compass Minerals, he held leadership roles with General Chemical Corporation and U.S. Steel.
Mr. Clark holds a B.S. in manufacturing from Bradley University.

Robert A. Beck has served as the Vice President and General Manager of Compass Minerals' SOP business unit since November 2001. Mr. Beck was Vice President for Operations at CompuNet Engineering, a network solutions provider from June 1999 to November 2001. Prior to this, he operated a consulting group from August 1998 to May 1999. From 1997 to 1998, he was Vice President of Sales and Marketing and, from 1993 to 1997, Director of International Sales for Great Salt Lake Minerals Corp.
Ronald Bryan is vice president and general manager with responsibility for overall management of Great Salt Lake Minerals, a subsidiary of Compass Minerals, and Compass Minerals' subsidiaries within the United Kingdom, Salt Union and DeepStore. Mr. Bryan became vice president and general manager of Great Salt Lake Minerals in January 2005, and assumed leadership of Salt Union in November 2006. He assumed his current position with Compass Minerals UK at the beginning of 2008. Mr. Bryan joined Compass Minerals in 2003 as vice president of highway sales, within Compass Minerals' highway deicing business. He was formerly senior vice president, commercial, at Borden Chemicals & Plastics. Mr. Bryan holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University.
Victoria Heider joined Compass Minerals as vice president, human resources, in 2004, with responsibility for human resources strategies, policies and procedures for the firm’s more than 1,500 employees.
Ms. Heider joined Compass Minerals with more than 20 years of human resources experience, most recently as vice president, global networks, with responsibility for human resources and business planning functions, at Aquila, Inc., an electric and gas utility. She is a past president of the Kansas City chapter of the Human Resources Management Association and a former member of the board of directors of the Kansas City chapter of the Society of Human Resources Management.
Ms. Heider holds a B.A. in human resources and psychology from Ottawa University of Kansas City, and certifications in mediation, facilitation training, and advanced human resources management.
Robert Marsh, a partner at Corporate Counsel Group, has served as outside general counsel to Compass Minerals since 1998. As outside counsel, Mr. Marsh assists Compass Minerals with a range of legal, business and intellectual property issues, and represents the company as transaction counsel in acquisitions, divestitures, licensing and financing transactions. Prior to joining Corporate Counsel Group at its formation in 1998, Mr. Marsh was a Partner at Blackwell Sanders Matheny Weary & Lombardi. Mr. Marsh holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Wichita State University, a J.D. from the Northwestern University School of Law, and an M.B.A. from the Northwestern University Kellogg Graduate School of Management. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a Licensed Patent Attorney.
Allan R. Rothwell has been a director since March 2006. In April of 2006, Mr. Rothwell retired from Eastman Chemical Company where he served as executive vice president and president of its Voridian Division. Mr. Rothwell joined Eastman Chemical in 1969 and held various positions including president, Chemicals Group, chief financial officer and vice president, Strategy and Mergers and Acquisitions.
Mr. Premdas serves on the audit committees of other corporate boards of directors. Mr. Premdas serves as the Chairman of the Audit Committee for the Company. He also serves as the chairman of the audit committee of Balchem Corporation, and is a member of the audit committees of Ferro Corporation and Fresenius Kabi Pharmaceuticals Holding, Inc., all publicly traded companies. Pursuant to the terms of the Audit Committee Charter and the regulations of the NYSE, by action dated November 26, 2008, the Board of Directors determined that Mr. Premdas' simultaneous service on multiple audit committees would not impair his ability to effectively serve on and act as Chairman of the Audit Committee.

Robert H. Falk has been a director of Compass Minerals and Salt Holdings since November 2001 and is a Partner at Apollo and has served as an officer of certain affiliates of Apollo since 1992.
