Dr. Donald J. Freed. Dr. Freed has been our President and Chief Executive Officer since June 2005. Prior to this position, from January 2004 through June 2005, Dr. Freed served as our Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer. From April 2003 to December 2003, Dr. Freed was a consultant to us. From November 1998 through March 2003, he served as Vice President, Business Development, and prior thereto, as Vice President of Marketing, of Nanophase Technologies Corporation, a publicly held nanomaterials company. His background is in commercializing new technologies. Dr. Freed was responsible for the successful start-up of advanced materials initiatives in three large multi-national firms, and has extensive experience in licensing and technology transfer on a global basis throughout Europe and Asia. Dr. Freed has been an advisor to the Nanobusiness Alliance and a frequent speaker at public nanotechnology forums.
Aris Despo brings to CTT over 25 years of experience in business development, manufacturing and operations. Rejoining Competitive Technologies in February 2007 as Sr. Vice President, Business Development, a position he held from January 2004 through December 2006, he is responsible for identifying innovative medical/life science technologies, developing commercialization strategies, and managing relationships with universities and industry. Mr. Despo served as a consultant to CTT from July 2002 through December 2003. Prior to joining CTT, Mr. Despo had over 20 years of experience in business development, manufacturing and operations. He was founder and CEO of a privately-held specialty chemical manufacturing operation. The company manufactured products and provided services for clients in the food and beverage processing and bottling markets. Customers included Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Snapple and Cape Cod Potato Chips. Mr. Despo established distribution channels in domestic and international markets. Under his leadership the company established a competitive advantage by focusing on core competencies that included new product development and managing customer relationships. In 1999, the company's intellectual properties and business assets were sold to a Fortune 500 competitor.
Girish Nallur brings to CTT over 20 years of scientific and project management experience in the biotechnology industry. He has over nine years experience in intellectual property due diligence, including technology assessments, licensing, and mergers and acquisitions. Dr. Nallur is responsible for technical and market analyses of the technologies CTT considers. Immediately prior to joining CTT, Dr. Nallur was responsible for setting the intellectual property strategy and managing technology transfer and licensing for Molecular Staging, Inc. in New Haven, Connecticut. Dr. Nallur has a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the Indian Institute of Science and has completed postdoctoral work at Scripps Research Institute, the Wistar Institute and Yale University, where he was also a full-time faculty member for two years.

John Derek Elwin brings to CTT about 15 years of experience in executing sales and marketing plans, and approaching new markets with innovative strategies based on trends and research. Joining Competitive Technologies in February 2007 as Vice President, Marketing, he is responsible for developing marketing and sales programs and materials for CTT's clients and customers. His varied financial and sales background provides an assertive, effective focus for CTT's sales team. Prior to joining CTT, Mr. Elwin's experience was in executing sales and marketing plans, and approaching new markets with innovative strategies based on trends and research. He managed and trained a large sales force in institutional and retail financial sales. Fluent in both written and spoken Spanish, Mr. Elwin brings a unique knowledge of both domestic and international markets to his position. His international business experience includes sales training, product promotion, and new business development in product wholesale markets, as well as brokerage and investment banking. His ability to identify and analyze market conditions and demands allowed him to acquire worldwide rights for his distribution company to globally market a Fortune 500 company's product. Mr. Elwin traveled extensively around the world, throughout Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America, setting up distribution and sales channels for the product. The company was successfully sold to a competitor. Mr. Elwin attended the University of Florida in Gainesville with principal studies in business and communications.

Mr. Hornidge is a tennis professional at Willows Racquet Club in North Andover, Massachusetts. From June 1984 through June 1989, Mr. Hornidge was President of Travis Associates, an employment agency. Mr. Hornidge was a program coordinator for Raytheon from 1973 through 1984, where he was involved in the Patriot Missile test equipment program.
Mr. Hornidge received a BA from Boston University.

Mr. Reali is a Certified Public Accountant with the firm of Reali, Giampetro and Scott in Canfield, Ohio. The firm provides auditing and other related accounting and tax services to a diverse group of business clients. Mr. Reali's primary responsibility with the firm is business consulting, working with large and small national and multinational clients. He has worked with distressed companies assisting them with cost reduction, turn-around programs and re-organization.
Serving as Chairman of various community associations, Mr. Reali donates a great deal of time to local organizations.
Mr. Reali received his BA from Youngstown State University.

Mr. Kutrumbos' responsibilities as a consultant are to identify innovative consumer product & health related technologies, develope commercialization strategies, and manage relationships with universities and industry and build strategic alliances. Mr. Kutrumbos was a Business Development Executive of CTT from November 14, 2005 through January 9, 2008. He has over 20 years of global sales and management experience with various companies.
Prior to joining CTT, Mr. Kutrumbos was a consultant with clients that included Sandella's, Deltaglide, Nova Cruz, Universal, Graphite Tech., Zike Bike and Empower Inc. and served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at start up Spinergy Inc., which grew to become one of the largest producers of high performance bicycle wheels in the world.
Mr. Kutrumbos began his career at Cannondale Corporation, eventually serving as its president. Mr. Kutrumbos holds a Bachelor of Science from Monmouth University.

As executive vice president, CFO and general counsel for Phoenix Health Systems, John Sabin brings with him almost 25 years of experience managing corporations' financial functions and merger and acquisition transactions. Mr. Sabin leads Phoenix' Finance & Accounting functions and oversees the company's accounting, banking, budgeting, cash management, contracting, and legal needs. Prior to joining Phoenix, Mr. Sabin served in senior finance positions with Marriott and Choice Hotels, as well as smaller firms including a venture capital and a biotech firm. Mr. Sabin held the position of CFO in two public companies and presently serves as a director of two public companies.
Dr. Maria-Luisa Maccecchini. Dr. Maccecchini is a partner in three "angel" funds that invest in early stage biotechnology companies: Robin Hood Ventures, Mid-Atlantic Angel Group and Business Angels Switzerland. She actively promotes biotechnology early stage companies with strategic and financial assistance. From March 2004 to April 2005, Dr. Maccecchini was President of Biomaterials Worldwide of Synthes, Inc., an international medical device company specializing in the development, manufacture and marketing of instruments and implants for the surgical treatment of bones (osteosynthesis). From 2002 to 2004, Dr. Maccecchini was a strategic consultant to companies planning to enter the biotech industry. In 1991, Dr. Maccecchini founded Symphony Pharmaceuticals, Inc., later renamed Annovis, Inc., a biotech company that performs research, development, manufacturing and marketing of nucleic acid-based products and services, specifically focused on brain associated diseases and genomics. She served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Symphony Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from 1991 to 2002, when she sold the company to Transgenomic. In addition, Dr. Maccecchini serves on the boards of private biotech companies and organizations that promote biotechnology, entrepreneurship, women and international trade.
Mr. Torello is an independent financial consultant with over 45 years' experience in the financial and venture capital field, advising various companies on their financial strategies. Included among the companies and individuals that Mr. Torello has performed consulting services for are Goodnight Audio, a full service recording studio, Patriot American Mortgage, a commercial and home mortgage company, DDS Technologies, Inc., an organic waste processor, and Coit Medical, a medical accessory marketer. During the eighties and nineties he handled personal ventures in oil exploration, real estate and the development of bio-organic products. During the seventies and eighties, Mr. Torello was Managing Partner of his own venture capital and development firm. During the sixties, he was Director of Financial Analysis for The Singer Company, Assistant to the President of Illinois Tool Works, Vice President of Laird Industries, and head of Investment Banking for Bay Securities in San Francisco. Mr. Torello received a BS from Fordham University, and holds an MBA from Harvard University.
