As President and Chief Executive Officer, Victor Limongelli is responsible for strategic planning and initiatives, making recommendations to the Board of Directors and managing the company's growth mission and operational objectives. He is also a member of the Board of Directors. Limongelli joined Guidance Software as General Counsel, where he specialized in privacy issues, incident response and digital evidence. He has also served as Vice President of Professional Services where he oversaw the company's renowned computer investigation team, providing incident response and computer forensic services to corporate, government and legal clients worldwide. Prior to his appointment as CEO, Limongelli led Guidance Software's worldwide operations as the company's President and is credited with formulating and overseeing its highly-successful eDiscovery strategy. Before moving in-house, Limongelli was associated with the national law firm of Morgan Lewis & Bockius LLP, where he practiced with a technology company-focus which has a particular emphasis on licensing and venture capital. His accomplishments with the firm include arguing (and winning) a case before the 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals. He received his juris doctorate degree from Columbia University School of Law, where he was a James Kent Scholar, and his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College. He has written numerous white papers and articles on statutes, regulations, case law, and industry standards governing information security, and has spoken at many notable conferences.

Chief Financial Officer, Barry Plaga brings over 20 years of financial and operational experience to Guidance Software. As CFO, he oversees the company's worldwide financial planning and analysis, accounting, treasury and tax functions. Prior to joining Guidance Software, he served two years as Vice President of Financial Global Processes at Sun Microsystems, Inc., where he oversaw financial planning and forecasting, finance program management and the finance components of Sun's Oracle ERP project. Plaga joined Sun Microsystems through the acquisition of SeeBeyond Technology Corporation, a public software technology company where he served for six years as the Chief Financial Officer. At SeeBeyond, in addition to his core finance and accounting role, he was responsible for mergers and acquisitions, legal, information technology, human resources, administration and facilities. Additionally, he helped lead the company through its initial public offering, secondary offering and eventual sale to Sun for nearly $400 million. Prior to SeeBeyond, Plaga served two year as Chief Financial Officer of Activision, Inc., and as Vice President of Finance and Chief Accounting Officer at Activision for six years before that. Plaga received his bachelor of science in business administration and master’s in accounting from the University of Southern California, and is a certified public accountant.

Shawn McCreight founded Guidance Software, Inc. in November 1997 and has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors since its inception. From January 2003 to present he has served as Chairman and Chief Technology Officer. Prior to January 2003, he served as Founder and Chief Executive Officer. McCreight has extensive experience in the design and development of software programs and applications, and was the principal developer of Guidance Software's EnCase® software. He continues to develop the products that drive Guidance Software's success in digital investigations solutions. McCreight received his bachelor of arts in physics from the University of California, Berkeley.

Larry Gill, Senior Vice President of Sales is responsible for worldwide sales. Gill joined Guidance Software in 2006 as Vice President of Marketing, where he led the company’s worldwide marketing efforts. Prior to Guidance Software, Gill served as Marketing Director for Aspen Technology, Inc. In his six years with AspenTech, he held a variety of director-level roles including Director of Business Development, where he developed the go-to-market strategy for a diverse line of enterprise software products and supporting professional services. He joined AspenTech through the acquisition of Petrolsoft, Inc. During his tenure with Petrolsoft Inc., a privately held software technology company, Gill served as the Vice President of Sales & Marketing. He hired, trained and led a global sales and marketing team, expanding operations into both EMEA and APAC. The company was twice recognized by Inc. 500 as one of the fastest growing privately held companies in America. Prior to this, Gill was a top-performing sales and marketing manager with Oce-USA, Inc. and was also a two time combat veteran serving as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps. Gill holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado and is certified with Pragmatic Marketing.

A founding member of the Guidance Software professional services team, Senior Vice President of Operations and EnScript Development, Mike Gurzi, is a 25 year law enforcement veteran integral to enterprise investigation management for clients. Prior to joining Guidance Software, Gurzi spent four years as a trainer in forensic technology and methodology for the company, educating hundreds of students. Gurzi was also an investigator with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department for more than 10 years, where he specialized in both financial and computer crimes. Before retiring, he was promoted to Sergeant and spent three years as a special assignment team supervisor. Gurzi holds a bachelor of science in criminal justice administration from California State University, Long Beach and is an EnCase Certified Examiner. Recognized as an expert in computer forensics, identity theft, credit card counterfeiting as well as software and hardware piracy, Gurzi has been called upon to testify in numerous felony cases.

Al Hobbs serves as Vice President of Professional Development and Training Operations for Guidance Software. A retired detective with 25 years of experience working with local, county, state and federal investigations and nine years of experience conducting computer-based criminal and civil investigations, Hobbs oversees the growth of Guidance Software’s worldwide forensics training operations. He is an internationally recognized expert in the field of computer forensics and digital investigations, and is frequently called upon to provide expert witness testimony at both the state and federal level. Since joining Guidance Software, Hobbs has served as “Master Instructor” training thousands of computer forensics professionals from major corporations and all levels of government throughout the world. He also worked as a “Course Developer” designing cutting-edge training, and as “Director of Midwest Business Development” responsible for building relationships throughout the United States and Japan. Hobbs has received numerous police awards including the Award of Valor, Police Officer of the Year, Illinois Heroism (EMS) Award and numerous other Outstanding Performance, Distinguished Service awards and commendations. Hobbs holds a bachelor of arts in criminal justice, as well as multiple computer forensic certifications with EnCE (EnCase Certified Computer Examiner) being among them. He has published numerous white papers through computer forensic training organizations, and has held membership and leadership positions in many industry organizations, including: the Forensic Association of Computer Technologists (FACT), the Wisconsin Association of Computer Crime Investigators (WACCI), the Minnesota Electronic Crimes Investigators Association (MECIA), and the High Technology Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA).

Ken Basore serves as Vice President of Research and Development for Guidance Software. A 20 year veteran of law enforcement and a seven year expert in computer forensics, he directs the development of the company's software products and supervises the Research, EnScript, QA and Technical Support departments. In his career, Basore has overseen nearly 1,500 investigations and has extensive experience in the development and operation of computer forensic laboratories. His investigations have included financial crimes, narcotics, child exploitation, homicide and terrorism; and he has testified as an expert in both computer forensic investigations and computer forensic laboratory policies and procedures. A police officer for 17 years, Basore was responsible for the development of the first Regional Computer Forensics Laboratory in San Diego, California where he supervised 16 investigators from various federal, state and local law enforcement facilities. In 2001, Basore won the "Police Officer of the Year" award from the El Cajon, California Police Department. Basore is a certified Electronic Evidence Collection Specialist, a Federal Bureau of Investigation-Computer Analysis Response Team (CART) forensic examiner and an EnCase Certified Examiner. He is also a member of the High Technology Crime and Investigation Association (HTCIA) and the International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists (IACIS).

With over 20 years of experience, Sandy Gyenes, Vice President of Human Resources, leads the worldwide human resources team, working closely with the senior management team on strategic and functional workforce issues. Additionally, Gyenes is responsible for the company's organizational culture, including succession planning, performance improvement strategies, employee motivation and reward systems. Prior to joining Guidance Software, Gyenes served as the Executive Director of Human Resources for American Golf Corporation with responsibility for 350 public and private golf courses and clubs, employing 27,000 employees worldwide. She has experience managing all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, organizational development, employee relations, compliance, policy development, compensation and benefits. Gyenes received her bachelor’s degree in behavioral science/sociology from Loyola Marymount University.

A frequent speaker for CCE, Albert Barsocchini is a recognized expert in computer law, electronic discovery and computer forensics in both civil and criminal investigations. In the past four years he has consulted with law firms and corporate clients on computer forensic investigations, electronic data productions, electronic records retention policies, incident response, and electronic risk control. He has written and lectured frequently on government regulations and standards such as Sarbanes Oxley, HIPPA, FERPA, and new SEC and NASD rules affecting data management. Albert served as Chairperson of the California State Bar's Law Practice Management & Technology Section in 2000. He is a founding member of the California State Bar Cyberspace Law Committee, is an Editorial Advisor to Law Technology news and currently serves as a special master for the State Bar of California in search and seizure of privileged and confidential matters. He received his JD from the McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, in 1983.

Mr. Powell is a senior investor relations professional with Guidance Software, a digital forensics software company in Los Angeles. He has more than 15 years experience working with companies in the high tech, healthcare and financial services industries, including Cardinal Health, America Online and Fannie Mae. He holds a degree in mechanical engineering and a MBA from Harvard Business School.

Bringing 15 years of business and legal experience to his position, Corporate Secretary and General Counsel, Mark E. Harrington oversees worldwide legal responsibility for the Company. Previously, Harrington held the position of Associate General Counsel where he managed a variety of legal matters including licensing, insurance, intellectual property, export compliance, marketing, litigation and general corporate activities. Prior to joining Guidance Software, Harrington was a Senior Attorney at Intel Corporation where he worked on complex intellectual property agreements, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters. Harrington also worked on electronic discovery and litigation matters for the law firm of Munger, Tolles and Olson in Los Angeles. Harrington received his juris doctorate degree from Southwestern University School of Law, and his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. He is an Adjunct Faculty member of the Los Angeles Community College District and Vice President of the Southern California Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel. Additionally, he frequently lectures at colleges, industry conferences and has written on a wide range of legal issues relating to business law, mergers and acquisitions, protecting corporate assets and intellectual property.

Patrick Burke, Law School Coordination Chair, is Assistant General Counsel for Guidance Software Inc., a member of the NYDLC's Steering Committee, and its Secretary. As Secretary, he is the offical record-keeper of the organization. Active in Democratic politics since George McGovern's campaign in 19'72, Mr. Burke has been monitoring elections on behalf of Democrats in New York City since 1988. He was a legal observer for Kerry-Edwards in Florida in 2004. Mr. Burke holds a J.D. from the New York University School of Law.

Ms. O Neil is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Liberty Street Advisors, LLC, a company that she founded in 2001. Liberty Street Advisors, LLC advises public and private companies on corporate governance, risk management, strategy development, infrastructure needs, leadership alignment and execution of change initiatives. Prior to her work at Liberty Street Advisors, Ms. O Neil was employed at IBM as General Manager of the company s Global Financial Markets Infrastructure Group from January 2001 to September 2001. Prior to joining IBM, Ms. O Neil served for 24 years at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York in a series of executive roles including Chief Operations Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Risk Officer. Earlier in her career she was the bank s Chief Financial Examiner. She is also a member of the boards of directors of John Carroll University, Guidance Software and MetLife Bank, N.A.

Kathleen A. O'Neil has been president and chief executive of Liberty Street Advisors, L.L.C. since its foundation. Prior to creating the company, Kate built profitable, financial institution-oriented businesses for IBM as General Manager of Global Financial Markets Infrastructure, leading teams specializing in next-generation systems for e-payments, clearance, and settlement; e-markets; wireless solutions and operational risk measurement and management. Kate is well known in the global financial community through over 20 years of executive leadership positions at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. There, she served as Executive Vice President and a member of the Executive Management Committee. Her career at the Fed included assignments as Advisor to the President and Officer in Charge of the Financial Services Group (a group of international and domestic businesses including cash, check, electronic payments, automated clearing house, electronic and physical securities, custody, fiscal services and business development). Kate was also Senior Risk Officer and Officer in Charge of the Corporate Group (a group including all of the New York Fed's financial, administrative and support functions). With that assignment, Kate functioned concurrently as chief financial officer, chief administrative officer and contingency officer for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. She was Chief Financial Examiner for a number of years and was responsible among other things for the design and implementation of the foreign bank supervisory program, supervision of the domestic and foreign operations of U.S. banking organizations and design and execution of the Federal Reserve System's trading and capital markets activities manual and policy guidance for examiners. Kate directed all troubled institution interventions during the recessionary period when the banking system was under greater stress than at any time since the 1930's. Kate is active in a number of professional organizations including the Council on Foreign Relations and The Economic Club of New York. She is a member of the International Corporate Governance Network, the Woodrow Wilson Visiting Fellows Program, and the National Association of Corporate Directors. Kate joined the board of NYSE-listed BMC Software, Inc. in November 2002. Kate earned a B.S. degree in economics from John Carroll University, Cleveland and an M.B.A. degree in finance from the Wharton Graduate School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia.

Kathleen O Neil has served as a member of the Board of Directors for Guidance Software, Inc. since December 2005 and has served as our Lead Independent Director since February, 2007. She is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer for Liberty Street Advisors, LLC, where she has served since October 2001. Prior to joining Liberty Street Advisors, LLC, from January 2001 to September 2001, she served as General Manager of Global Financial Markets Infrastructure for IBM. From 1976 to 2000, Ms. O Neil held a number of executive positions with the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Ms. O Neil has served on the Board of Directors of BMC Software since 2002, the Board of Directors of MetLife Bank since 2004 and the Board of Directors of the Motley Fool Independence Fund as of this month. Ms. O Neil received a B.S. in Economics from John Carroll University, and received an M.B.A. from Wharton Graduate School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Marshall S. Geller , 68, Director, has been a member of the Board since June 2006. He is the co-founder and Senior Managing Director of St. Cloud Capital, a Los Angeles-based private investment fund formed in December 2001. He is also Chairman, CEO and founding partner of Geller & Friend Capital Partners, Inc., a private merchant bank formed in November 1995. Mr. Geller has spent more than 40 years in corporate finance and investment banking, including 21 years as Senior Managing Director for Bear, Stearns and Company, with oversight of all operations in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Hong Kong and the Far East. Mr. Geller currently serves as a Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of ShopNBC-Value Vision Media, Inc. and as director on the boards of GP Strategies Corporation, 1st Century Bank N.A., Blue Holdings, Inc. and National Holdings Corp. Mr. Geller also serves as a member of the Board of Governors of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles. Mr. Geller graduated from California State University, Los Angeles, with a BS in Business Administration, where he currently serves on the Dean s Advisory Council for the College of Business & Economics.

Robert G. van Schoonenberg is the Former Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Secretary of the Board of Avery Dennison Corporation. He also served as Secretary and General Counsel at Avery Dennison for over 25 years. He is presently serving as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of BayPoint Capital Partners, LLC and Managing Partner, General Counsel Law Partners, as well as a member of the Board of Directors of Altair Nanotechnologies, Inc. Mr. van Schoonenberg received his J.D. degree from University of Michigan School of Law, his M.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and his undergraduate degree from Marquette University. Mr. van Schoonenberg also serves on the Board of Trustees for Southwestern University School of Law.
