(?we?, ?us?, ?our?, ?CTI?, ?the Company?) designs, manufactures and markets thermal imaging and infrared devices and services used for clinical diagnosis, pain management and non-destructive testing of industrial products and materials. We market our products with an internal sales force and independent distributors. Our research emphasizes applications for thermal imaging technology and the development of equipment and methods for producing, interpreting, and cataloging thermal images. We believe our products provide our customers with valuable and unique data for the detection of abnormalities. Our pain management products are used in the diagnosis and treatment of certain diseases and disorders. If ultimately approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (the ?FDA?), we believe that our breast imaging system will be able to be used by radiologists to help distinguish between benign and malignant breast masses. Our industrial products are used for testing product quality and enabling more efficient designs.
