Previously Dr. Rao was a founder, Chairman and President of Industar Digital PCS, a digital cellular telecommunications provider established in March 1995. Kailas later sold Industar to ATT Wireless in 2000. From April 1993 to July 1996 Kailas was a partner of Glaisner, Schilffarth, Grande & Schnoll, Ltd., the parent of GS2 Securities, Inc., an investment-banking boutique based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
