Steven Straus joined LCA-Vision/LasikPlus in November 2006 as Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Straus oversees and directs all areas of the company, and is responsible for day-to-day
operations, including implementing and monitoring business strategies and approving core
corporate initiatives and projects. Prior to joining LCA-Vision/LasikPlus, he served for three
years as President and Chief Operating Officer of MSO Medical, Inc, an obesity disease and
bariatric surgery management company, where he helped create a bariatric surgery
management program that went on to receive two of the highest levels of accreditation and
certification in the industry. He has served in a number of leadership roles in healthcare related
businesses throughout a professional career spanning approximately three decades, including
executive level positions at TLC Vision Corporation, Jordan Industries, Inc., Columbia/HCA
Inc./Medical Care America, Inc., and Baxter International/American Hospital Supply
Corporation. During his tenure at TLC Vision, he successfully launched a start-up ophthalmic,
single-specialty ambulatory surgery division, and served on the board of directors of Laser
Vision Centers, Inc. prior to its acquisition by TLC Vision in 2001. While serving in senior
positions at Jordan Industries, Columbia/HCA and Baxter International/American Hospital
Supply Corporation, he had responsibility for business development, sales, marketing and
operations. Mr. Straus earned a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of
Wisconsin-Eau Claire. He has served on private and public company boards of directors
including serving six years on the board of directors at Laser Vision Centers, Inc. Mr. Straus
has served as a director of LCA-Vision since 2006.

E. Anthony Woods has served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Support Source, a limited liability investing/consulting company, providing financial, management and marketing expertise to the healthcare industry since 2003. From 1987 through 2002, Mr. Woods served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Deaconess Association, Inc., a large Cincinnati based diversified healthcare holding company operating for profit and not for profit health services corporations. Since 2007, Mr. Woods serves as a director of Critical Homecare Solutions, an equity-fund owned company and leading provider of homecare services and products currently serving 15,000 patients in 14 states. Since 2006, Mr. Woods serves as a director of Phoenix Health Systems, a national provider of healthcare information technology outsourcing solutions. Since 2004, Mr. Woods has served as a director (and as Chairman since 2006) of LCA-Vision, a leading provider of laser vision correction services which owns and operates over 70 fixed-site centers in the United States and through a joint venture in Canada. Since 2003, Mr. Woods is also active as Chairman of the Board of Deaconess Association, Inc. and he is currently serving as interim Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of said company. Since 1998, he has also served as a director of Cincinnati Financial Corporation, a Standard & Poors 500 company which serves as a holding company with subsidiaries which underwrite fire, auto, casualty and other related forms of insurance. Mr. Woods is 67 years of age. He received his M.B.A. in Finance and Marketing from Samford University and a B.S. and M.S. in Engineering from the University of Tennessee.

John Hassan has been a consultant to BSC Ventures, a holding company in the printing and
converting industry since November 2006. Previously, Mr. Hassan was the President and CEO
of Champion Printing, Inc., a direct mail printing company, a position he held for more than
15 years. Prior to joining Champion Printing, he was Vice President of Marketing for the
Drackett Company, a division of Bristol-Myers Squibb. He currently serves on the boards of
the Ohio Graphics Arts Health Fund, and the Madeira/Indian Hill Fire Company. Mr. Hassan
has served as a director of LCA-Vision since 1996.

John H. Gutfreund , age 78, is Senior Advisor of Collins Stewart LLC, an investment partnership for high-growth technology companies, a position he has held since January 2002. Since 1993, Mr. Gutfreund has also been the President of Gutfreund & Co. Inc., a financial management consulting firm. Formerly, Mr. Gutfreund was with Salomon Brothers from 1953-1991, most recently as its Chairman. Mr. Gutfreund is a director of AXES LLC, Evercel, Inc., and Montefiore Medical Center. He is chairman of the Board for Nutrition 21, Inc. He is an advisor to The Universal Bond Fund and member of The Brookings Institution, Council Advisory Committee in New York; member, Council on Foreign Relations; Lifetime Member, Board of Trustees, New York Public Library; Honorary Trustee, Oberlin (Ohio) College; and Chairman Emeritus and Member of the Board of Trustees, Aperture Foundation. William Bahl is the co-founder and President of Bahl & Gaynor Investment Counsel, an
independent registered investment adviser located in Cincinnati. Prior to founding Bahl &
Gaynor in 1990, he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer at
Northern Trust Company in Chicago. Mr. Bahl also serves on the board of Cincinnati
Financial Corporation. He is also a trustee for Deaconess Associations, Inc., the Talbert
House Foundation and Hamilton County Parks Foundation. He is a member of the
Cincinnati Society of Financial Analysts. Mr. Bahl has served as a director of LCA-Vision
