Andre is a self-taught programmer who holds master degree in mathematics of Taiwan National Central University . He started his career as a game programmer at Gamania Inc. ( http://www.gamania.com/ ) in 2002. After gained some basic 3D programming concepts, he quickly delved into shading language and he is now familiar with both OpenGL and Direct3D shader programming(He was also a proof reader of ShaderX2). He is currently a software engineer of Graphics Architecture team at VIA Technologies, Inc. ( http://www.viatech.com/ ). A leading innovator and developer of PC core logic chipsets, microprocessors, communication and multimedia graphics chips.

Jayan Ramankutty ('71) is Vice President of Cypress Semiconductor's Data Communications division, and co-founder and Director of Empowertel. Jayan was founder, President and COO of Lara Networks, Inc., which he sold to Cypress Semiconductor in 2000. He has held various senior level technical and management positions in Alliance Semiconductor, VIA Technologies and Elxsi. He also founded, and sold Nimbus Technology to Alliance Semiconductor prior to going IPO. Jayan has over 18 years of extensive experience in the field of research, design and development of large, multi-processor computer systems, complex ASICs and SoCs targeted towards networking and telecommunication markets. Jayan holds an MS in Computer Engineering from San Jose State University and a BE (Hons) EEE from BITS.
