Cooper Industries Ltd.

Dr. Mark Thompson has been a member of the Board since November 2005. Dr. Thompson has been President and Chief Executive Officer of Fairchild Semiconductor since May 2005, and was previously Executive Vice President, Manufacturing and Technology Group, from December 2004 until his promotion to President and CEO. From 2001 to 2004, Dr. Thompson had been the Chief Executive Officer of Big Bear Networks, Inc., a designer and manufacturer of optoelectronic network solutions. He was previously Vice President and General Manager of Tyco Electronics' Power Components Division and, prior to its acquisition by Tyco, was Vice President of Raychem Electronics' OEM Group. Dr. Thompson serves on the Boards of Fairchild Semiconductor and Cooper Industries. He holds a bachelor's degree in Chemistry from State University of New York and a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of North Carolina.

Kingsley, 44 was appointed to his current position as well as to the company's Board of Directors in March 2005, having served as Chief Operating Officer at IDEX since 2004. He was elected Chairman of the Board in April 2006. Prior to joining IDEX, he progressed through a series of increasingly responsible operating positions at Danaher Corporation, including corporate vice president and group executive for the combined industrial controls and sensors businesses; president of the Industrial Controls group; and president, motion group - special purpose systems.

Mr. Evans is a partner at Thayer Capital Partners, a private equity firm. He previously served as Vice-Chairman of Union Pacific Corporation and its principal operating company, Union Pacific Railroad Company (rail carrier and transportation) until February 2005 when he retired. He was named Vice Chairman in January 2004 and previously served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Union Pacific Railroad Company since 1998. He is also a director of ArvinMeritor, Inc., Textron Inc., Spirit Aerosystems Holdings, Inc. and Suntron Corporation.

Ivo Jurek joined Cooper in 2007 as Vice President/General Manager for the Cooper Electronic Technologies business while also serving as managing director for Cooper Bussmann s Asia Pacific region. He was appointed as President, Cooper Bussmann in January 2009. Prior to joining Cooper, he spent 10 years with International Rectifer Corporation where he held significant general management positions in their automotive and electronic motion systems businesses.

Rick L. Johnson joined Cooper in 2005 as Vice President, Finance for Cooper Crouse-Hinds. He was appointed Corporate Controller in 2007 and Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer in 2008. Previously, he was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Impulse Wear, Inc. (sportswear) and prior to that he served as Vice President of Finance for the Tyco Electrical and Metal Products division.

Robert L. Taylor joined Cooper in 2005 as Vice President, Business Development for Cooper Crouse-Hinds. He was appointed Vice President and General Manager of Crouse-Hinds Interconnect business in 2007. Prior to joining Cooper, he spent nearly 16 years with General Electric in various management positions most recently as General Manager of Canada GE Consumer & Industrial Products.

C. Thomas O Grady joined Cooper in 2005 from Roper Industries (controls, fluid handling and instrumentation products) where he served as Vice President, Mergers and Acquisitions since 2001.

Mr. Postl served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Pennzoil Quaker State Company, a petroleum products company, from May 2000 until October 2002 when he retired. He joined Pennzoil in October 1998 as President and Chief Operating Officer. He is also a director of Centex Corporation and the American Balanced Fund.

Mr. Butler served as Chairman and Chief Executive of the accounting firm, KPMG LLP, from 1996 until June 2002, when he retired. He is also a director of ConAgra Foods, Inc. and Ford Motor Company.

Mr. Wilson served as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Cordant Technologies Inc. from 1995 until 2000, when he retired.

Robert Devlin joined the America's Promise board of directors in November 1998. He is presently chairman of Curragh Capital Partners, a private equity firm. Mr. Devlin's career in the financial services business spans 41 years, and includes serving as chairman, president and chief executive officer of American General, one of the nation's largest diversified financial services organizations. Mr. Devlin is a member of the board of directors of Cooper Industries, Houston and LKQ Corporation, Chicago. He is also a trustee of both Boston College and Tulane University and also serves on the executive council for the American Irish Historical Society. Mr. Devlin is also a member of the board of directors and serves on the executive committee for the International Insurance Society, Inc.
