Ivo Jurek joined Cooper in 2007 as Vice President/General Manager for the Cooper Electronic Technologies business while also serving as managing director for Cooper Bussmann s Asia Pacific region. He was appointed as President, Cooper Bussmann in January 2009. Prior to joining Cooper, he spent 10 years with International Rectifer Corporation where he held significant general management positions in their automotive and electronic motion systems businesses.

Rick L. Johnson joined Cooper in 2005 as Vice President, Finance for Cooper Crouse-Hinds. He was appointed Corporate Controller in 2007 and Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer in 2008. Previously, he was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Impulse Wear, Inc. (sportswear) and prior to that he served as Vice President of Finance for the Tyco Electrical and Metal Products division.

Robert L. Taylor joined Cooper in 2005 as Vice President, Business Development for Cooper Crouse-Hinds. He was appointed Vice President and General Manager of Crouse-Hinds Interconnect business in 2007. Prior to joining Cooper, he spent nearly 16 years with General Electric in various management positions most recently as General Manager of Canada GE Consumer & Industrial Products.

C. Thomas O Grady joined Cooper in 2005 from Roper Industries (controls, fluid handling and instrumentation products) where he served as Vice President, Mergers and Acquisitions since 2001.

Mr. Evans is an operating partner of Thayer Hidden Creek, a private equity firm. He previously served as Vice Chairman of Union Pacific Corporation and its principal operating company, Union Pacific Railroad Company, a rail carrier and transportation company, until February 2005. He is also a director of ArvinMeritor, Inc., Spirit Aerosystems Holdings, Inc., and Textron Inc.

Mr. Postl served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Pennzoil Quaker State Company, a petroleum products company, from May 2000 until October 2002 when he retired. He joined Pennzoil in October 1998 as President and Chief Operating Officer. He is also a director of Centex Corporation and the American Balanced Fund.

STEPHEN G. BUTLER Director since 2002 Mr. Butler was Chairman and Chief Executive of KPMG (accounting firm) from 1996 until 2002 when he retired. He is also a director of ConAgra Foods, Inc. and Ford Motor Company.

Kingsley, 45, was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer as well as to the company's Board of Directors in March 2005, having served as Chief Operating Officer since 2004. In April 2006, he was named Chairman of the Board. Prior to joining IDEX, he progressed through a series of increasingly responsible operating positions at Danaher Corporation, including Corporate Vice President and Group Executive for the combined industrial controls and sensors businesses; President of the Industrial Controls group; and President, Motion group - Special Purpose Systems. Kingsley is a member of the Board of Directors of Cooper Industries

Linda Hill is the Wallace Brett Donham Professor of Business Administration in the organizational behavior area at the Harvard Business School. She is unit chair of organizational behavior, faculty chair of the Leadership Initiative, and she has chaired numerous HBS executive education programs including the Young Presidents' Organization, Presidents' Seminar, and the High Potentials Program. She was course head during the development of the new Leadership and Organizational Behavior MBA required course. She is the author of Power and Influence Customized Course Module, and Becoming a Manager: How New Managers Master the Challenges of Leadership (2nd edition). She is also author of two e-College course modules: Managing Your Career and Managing Teams, and of award-winning multimedia management development programs High Performance Management, Coaching, and Managing for Performance. Professor Hill's consulting and executive education activities have been in the areas of managing change, managing cross-organizational relationships, globalization, career management, and leadership development. Hill is currently working on two projects: leading in emerging markets and leadership as collective genius in which she explores the relationship between leadership, creativity, and diversity. Organizations with which professor Hill has worked include Cabot Corporation, General Electric, Home Depot, IBM, Molex, the National Bank of Kuwait, Morgan Stanley, and the Royal Bank of Scotland. Professor Hill is currently a member of the Boards of Directors of State Street Corporation and Cooper Industries; the Boards of Trustees of Bryn Mawr College, and The Children's Museum, Boston. She is a former member of the Board of Trustees of The Rockefeller Foundation. She is also on the Advisory Board of the Getty Leadership Institute for Museum Management and the Advisory Board of the Aspen Institute Business and Society Program. She is a Trustee of The Bridgespan Group. Dr. Hill did a post-doctoral research fellowship at the Harvard Business School and earned a PhD in behavioral sciences at the University of Chicago. She received her MA in educational psychology with a concentration in measurement and evaluation from the University of Chicago. She has an AB, summa cum laude, in psychology from Bryn Mawr College.

Robert Devlin joined the America's Promise board of directors in November 1998. He is presently chairman of Curragh Capital Partners, a private equity firm. Mr. Devlin's career in the financial services business spans 41 years, and includes serving as chairman, president and chief executive officer of American General, one of the nation's largest diversified financial services organizations. Mr. Devlin is a member of the board of directors of Cooper Industries, Houston and LKQ Corporation, Chicago. He is also a trustee of both Boston College and Tulane University and also serves on the executive council for the American Irish Historical Society. Mr. Devlin is also a member of the board of directors and serves on the executive committee for the International Insurance Society, Inc.
