David Dobson has served as Corel's Chief Executive Officer since June 2005 and became a member of the company's board of directors in February 2006. From February 2004 to June 2005, he served as Corporate Vice President, Strategy at IBM. He previously served in various capacities at IBM in operations, finance, sales, marketing, strategy and general management from 1986 to 2004. Mr. Dobson joined IBM in Toronto in 1986. He has a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering and Management from McMaster University.

Kris Hagerman has served as Corel's Interim CEO since May 2008. Prior to joining Corel, Mr. Hagerman was a Senior Advisor at Vector Capital. Prior to that, he served as Group President, Data Center Management at Symantec where he was responsible for all product development, product management, business development, and go-to-market strategies for one of Symantec's three business units, focused on enterprise infrastructure software. Mr. Hagerman joined Symantec through the company's merger with Veritas Software in July 2005. At Veritas, Mr. Hagerman served as executive vice president and General Manager of the storage and server management group, where he led all product-related responsibilities for one of Veritas' two business units. Previously, he served as executive vice president of strategic operations for the company, managing strategic alliances, business development, and mergers and acquisitions. Before joining VERITAS, Mr. Hagerman served as founder and chief executive officer of Affinia Inc., where he created the Internet's first contextual merchandising platform. Prior to that, Mr. Hagerman was the founder and chief executive officer of BigBook, Inc., a pioneering Internet yellow pages service. In addition, Mr. Hagerman has held various management positions in consulting, sales and marketing, business development, and finance at companies such as Silicon Graphics Computer Systems, McKinsey & Company, and Morgan Stanley. Mr. Hagerman holds a Master of Business Administration from Stanford Graduate School of Business. He also received a master's degree in international relations from Cambridge University and a bachelor's degree in Russian and economics from Dartmouth College.

Douglas McCollam has served as Corel's Chief Financial Officer since January 2004 and became a member of the company's board of directors in October 2004. From July 1996 to January 2004 he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of NORDX/ CDT. He previously served in various capacities at Nortel Networks, including as Vice President Finance and Administration for Nortel CALA from 1993 to 1996. He served as Chief Financial Officer of Motorola Nortel Communications from 1991 to 1993, Group Controller Switching from 1989 to 1991 and Assistant Vice President, Corporate Financial Reporting and Analysis from 1987 to 1989. Mr. McCollam is a Certified Management Accountant and has a Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia University and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago

Amanda Bedborough has served as a member of Corel's senior executive team since joining the company in 2001. In her current role as Executive Vice President, Global Sales, Ms. Bedborough is responsible for defining and leading the company's global channel, eCommerce and OEM sales strategies. With over 19 years of international sales experience, Ms. Bedborough has built strong working relationships with global distributors and OEMs and has established a successful track record of expanding business into new markets. Prior to joining Corel, she served as Vice President, EMEA Operations for 3dfx Interactive, Inc., and as International Sales and Marketing Director at STB Systems Inc., before it was acquired by 3dfx. Ms. Bedborough is a Member of the Institute of Directors.

Jeremy Liang has served as Corel's Senior Vice President, Digital Media Development since June 2007. In this capacity, Mr. Liang is responsible for leading the development efforts behind the Company's award-winning digital media portfolio while maintaining Corel's leadership position with technology innovations that inspire and delight customers. Prior to joining Corel, Mr. Liang spent 10 years with Trend Micro where he served as EVP of Engineering, EVP of Information and Engineering Operations, and most recently EVP of Information and Chief Security Officer. Liang holds a masters degree in computer science from New Mexico Tech and a bachelor's degree in computer science from ChiaoTung University, Taiwan.

Kazuo Sakai joins Corel with deep industry experience leading sales and marketing operations in Japan and the Asia Pacific region. He also has well established relationships with Japan's leading OEMs. Prior to joining Corel, Mr. Sakai held senior executive positions at Microsoft, where most recently he served as Program Vice President, Digital Entertainment Partner Group. He also had a long career with AMD, where he served as Chairman of AMD Japan; Corporate Vice President, Sales and Marketing, South Asia Pacific; and Vice President, Sales and Marketing, North Asia Pacific.

Kevin Thornton has served as a member of Corel's senior executive team since rejoining the company in 2007. In his current role as Senior Vice President, Americas Sales, Mr. Thornton is responsible for the company's retail, channel, and license sales activities in North America and Latin America. Prior to joining Corel, Mr. Thornton served as Senior Vice President Sales, Small Business Division (SBD) at Sage Software. He previously held management positions with Coca-Cola Bottling Company and was the Vice President Sales, Americas for Corel. Mr. Thornton holds an Honours degree from the University of Ottawa.

Prior to joining Corel, Hilton was Adobe's Vice President of Product Management for the Creative Solutions Business Unit. In his role he provided business strategy and vision, as well as product leadership for many of Adobe's flagship products including the Adobe® Creative Suites®, Adobe® InDesign®, Adobe® Illustrator®, and Adobe® Dreamweaver®. Prior to joining Adobe, Hilton was the co-founder of BeHere Corporation, an Internet virtual reality imaging company. He also served as the company's vice president of marketing and sales.

Nathalie Parent has served as a member of Corel's senior executive team since joining the company in April 2009. In her current role as Vice President, Human Resources, Ms. Parent is responsible for employee compensation and benefits, organizational development, talent management, succession planning and employee relations and communications. Prior to joining Corel, Ms. Parent spent 13 years at Cognos Incorporated both in Canada and in Europe, most recently serving as VP, HR, Global Operations where she was responsible for Field Operations across the Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific. Prior to her work at Cognos, Ms. Parent served as a Compensation and Benefits Consultant at Watson Wyatt Worldwide. She received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada, and she is a Certified Human Resource Professional and a Certified Global Compensation Professional. She sits on the Global Advisory Board of WorldatWork and has been a featured speaker at several conferences.

Ian Giffen became a member of Corel's board of directors in January 2006. Since 1996, Mr. Giffen has been an advisor to or director of software companies and technology investment funds. From January 1992 to January 1996, Mr. Giffen was Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Alias Research until its acquisition by Silicon Graphics. Mr. Giffen is currently a director of MKS and Descartes Systems and a director or advisor to a number of other private companies. Mr. Giffen has previously served on the board of directors of a number of public and private companies including Macromedia, 724 Solutions, Sierra Systems Inc, Financial Models, DPS, Open Text, Delano Technology, Algorithmics, DWL, Changepoint and MGI Software. He is a Chartered Accountant and has a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland.

Daniel T. Ciporin joined Canaan Partners in 2007 as a Venture Partner specializing in digital media and communications investments. Dan is the former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Shopping.com, a publicly traded online comparison shopping service. As CEO of the company beginning in 1999, Ciporin oversaw the company's growth from zero to over $100 million in revenues in just 5 years, culminating in the company's initial public offering in October 2004. During his tenure Shopping.com became the leader and dominant player in the newly emerging sector of comparison shopping, and was the third largest ecommerce site on the web before it was acquired by eBay in August of 2005. Prior to Shopping.com, Mr. Ciporin served as senior vice president of MasterCard International, where he managed global debit services. In this position, he was responsible for the marketing and product management of all MasterCard online global debit products, including the MasterCard /Cirrus ; ATM Network and the Maestro global, online point-of-sale (POS) debit program. His efforts helped establish the company's market leadership in the global electronic debit market. Before joining MasterCard, Mr. Ciporin was a management consultant for Mars and Co. and Corporate Value Associates, and was responsible for conducting strategy studies for Fortune 500 companies. In 1980 and 1981, Mr. Ciporin served as director of Educational Programs for the Sakaeo Refugee Camp, a Cambodian refugee camp in Sakaeo, Thailand. The camp was run by the International Rescue Committee as part of a United Nations-funded program. Mr. Ciporin earned his AB degree at the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs from Princeton University in 1980 and his MBA degree at the Yale University School of Management in 1986. Mr. Ciporin is on the boards of VistaPrint Ltd. (VPRT), a publicly traded internet printing company, and Primedia (PRM), one of the world's leading targeted media companies. More recently, Mr. Ciporin was chairman of the Internet Lab, a US-Israeli incubator for early-stage Internet consumer start-ups co-founded by Gemini Israel Funds and Lightspeed Venture Partners. He continues to serve as a senior advisor and consultant to a variety of high growth private companies. At Canaan, Dan sits on the board of Lending Club.
