Besides being the chairman and CEO of Gund Investment Corporation which was founded in 1968, Mr. Gund is co-founder and chairman of The Foundation Fighting Blindness. The Foundation Fighting Blindness is a national, non-profit organization dedicated to finding the causes, treatments and/or cures for retinitis pigmentosa, age-related macular degeneration, and allied retinal degenerative diseases. He is a director of the Kellogg Company. Corning director since 1990. Age 69.

Mr. Landgraf is president and chief executive officer of Educational Testing Service, a private non-profit educational testing and measurement organization, and joined ETS in that position in 2000. Prior to that, he was executive vice president and chief operating officer of E.I. Du Pont de Nemours and Company, where he previously held a number of senior leadership positions, including chief financial officer. Mr. Landgraf is also a director of ETS and Louisiana-Pacific Corporation. Corning director since 2007. Age 62.

Akihisa Mitsuhashi joined Corning in 1982 as marketing specialist for Corning Japan K.K’s Specialty Materials Division in Tokyo. He was named sales manager of the Electronic Materials Division of Corning Japan K.K.(CJKK) in 1985, and sales manager of Precision Flat Glass for CJKK in 1987. In 1992 Mitsuhashi became marketing manager of Corning Asahi Video Products in Corning, N.Y. He then returned to Japan to become general manager of CJKK’s commercial operations. In 1998 he was appointed deputy director of the same division and he assumed the role of director of commercial operations, a member of board of directors in 1999. Effective January 1, 2002, he is appointed president of Corning Japan K.K.

In April 2008, Alan Dowdell was appointed to the role of President, Corning Greater China Telecom (Corning GCT). In this role, Alan is responsible for overall business, organizational and financial management for Greater China Telecom operations and employees in wholly owned and equity venture entities in the region. His responsibility includes the optical fiber, optical cable and the hardware and equipment businesses in the public networks, private networks, and OEM markets. Prior to this assignment, Alan was President of Corning Cable Systems Greater China. In January 2006, Dowdell accepted the position as director of business development and strategy for Greater China. As part of Corning Greater China, Dowdell led a team responsible for Corning Specialty Materials, Corning Life Sciences and Cormetech sales, research and development strategies, and business development in China. Dowdell joined Corning in 1996 at the Wilmington, N.C. optical fiber manufacturing facility. After joining the Corning Optical Fiber marketing team in 1998, he relocated to the United Kingdom as market development manager, Europe. Upon his return to the U.S. in 2000, Dowdell served in leadership roles in product line management and new fiber products. In 2002, Dowdell was accepted to MIT’s Sloan Fellows Program and graduated with an M.B.A. in 2003. In that year, he became manager, business partnerships in Corning’s Strategic Growth organization. As part of the new business development team, Dowdell developed processes to take new and emerging technologies to market via partnerships and alliances. Dowdell holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Louisiana Tech University and served as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Navy Submarine Force from 1988 to 1996. He and his wife Tara and their two sons, Tristan and Riley, live in Shanghai.

James P. Clappin is president of Corning Display Technologies (CDT). In this role, he is responsible for all business and manufacturing operations across the division's five regions: Japan, Taiwan, Korea, China and the United States. Clappin joined Corning Incorporated in 1980 as a process engineer in the Central Falls, R.I., manufacturing plant. He transitioned to GTE Corporation in 1983 when the facility was sold, and returned to Corning in 1988. He served in a variety of manufacturing management roles in the consumer products division and began working in the display business in 1994. In 1996, Clappin relocated to Japan to assume the position of plant manager at the Shizuoka manufacturing facility. He then progressed through a number of management leadership positions with increasing responsibilities, leading to his appointment as general manager of the CDT worldwide business in May 2002. He remained in that position until he assumed his current role in September 2005. Throughout Clappin's tenure in the CDT business, the demand for LCD glass has grown exponentially. Over time, the focus of the display industry has shifted from applications for notebook computers and desktop monitors to small portable devices and LCD television. In response to market demand, Clappin has overseen the expansion of the business across Asia, including the launch of CDT's business in Taiwan and the introduction of several of the world's largest fully integrated LCD glass manufacturing plants. Under his leadership, Corning's sales increased four-fold between 2002 and 2006. Clappin's organization also has led the development of new technologies for advanced displays. These include large-size glass and the award-winning, environmentally friendly EAGLE XG™ glass substrates, as well as emerging technologies such as polysilicon substrates and an organic light emitting diode (OLED) solution. Corning's commitment to research and development has delivered many LCD product and productivity improvements that have helped enable the overall growth of the industry. Clappin serves as a director of Samsung Corning Precision. He holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Rhode Island.

Li Fang joined Corning International in July 1997 as Business Development Manager – China, based in the Corning Beijing Office. In December 1999 Li Fang was transferred to the Environmental Products Division and became Production Manager of EPD’s China Plant – Corning (Shanghai) Company Ltd. (CSCL). In July 2004, he was appointed Operations Manager of CSCL. Effective October 1, 2004, Li Fang was appointed Director of Operations/Plant Manager of Corning (Shanghai) Company Ltd. In August 2007, Li Fang was appointed Vice President, Corning Display Technologies China, and Director of Commercial Operations, Government Affairs and Supply Chain Corning Display Technologies China. He assumed his current role of President, Corning Display Technologies China in January 2009, and currently resides in Shanghai. Prior to joining Corning, Li Fang had many years of experience in various business development, sales and marketing positions with European and USA companies. Li Fang holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Tongji University in China.

"James B. Flaws joined Corning Incorporated in 1973. He has held a variety of positions within Corning's Consumer Products group, including division controller, general manager-Department Store Business, division vice president-Business Development, and vice president and chief financial officer. Mr. Flaws was elected assistant treasurer of Corning Incorporated in 1993. He was responsible for the spin-off of Corning's health-care businesses in 1996. He was named vice president and controller in February 1997 and in May of that year was elected vice president-Finance and treasurer of Corning Incorporated. In December 1997, he was named senior vice president, treasurer and chief financial officer. He was named executive vice president and chief financial officer in December 1999, and was elected to the Corning board of directors in December 2000. In April 2002, he was named vice chairman and chief financial officer. In addition to his financial duties, he is responsible for mergers and acquisitions and the legal function at Corning. Mr. Flaws is on the board of directors for Dow Corning Corporation and Corning Museum of Glass. He is active with the local United Way. He has served as a United Way board member for 17 years, was board chairman for three years and treasurer for 10 years. He is a member of the board of directors of the Community Foundation. Mr. Flaws graduated from Tufts University with a bachelor's degree in engineering and received a master's degree from Dartmouth College. He was named a member of The Conference Board’s prestigious Council of Financial Executives in May 1999."

"Dr. Joseph A. Miller, Jr. joined Corning Incorporated in July 2001 as Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer. He was named to his current position in March 2002. Prior to joining Corning, Dr. Miller was with E.I. DuPont de Nemours, Inc., where he served as Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President for Research & Development since 1994. He began his career with DuPont in 1966 as a Research Chemist in Polymer Science. He also held a variety of positions in research and development, manufacturing, business and marketing. Dr. Miller received a Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Military Institute and a doctorate in Chemistry from Penn State University. He is a member of numerous science and technology organizations including the National Science Board, National Academy of Engineering, American Association for the Advancement of Science-Fellow and the Industrial Research Institute. "

Dr. Peter L. Bocko was appointed Chief Technology Officer - Japan in October 2007. His primary focus is to strengthen Corning innovation capability in Japan to deliver growth via new business opportunities emerging in that strategic region. Bocko joined Corning in 1979 as senior scientist with research interests in the areas of glass composition, surface chemistry and novel optical fiber materials. Prior to his present position, he went on to hold numerous management and leadership positions in Science & Technology and in the display business. Bocko is among the foremost experts in glass substrates for TFT-LCD. Key achievements during his tenure at Corning include: Being a member of an early market exploration team exploring fusion glass and value added films for LCD. Becoming the technical leader for the LCD Project. Bocko led the team that secured the qualification of non-polish fusion glass in a first-generation customer process. Serving as project manager for the code 1737 substrate development for notebook applications. Directing technology strategy and support activities for the commercialization of a range of new products including codes 1737, 1737G and polysilicon substrates. Leading the collaborative design process with customers and Corning R&D that culminated in the delivery of the EAGLE2000® and EAGLE XG™ glass substrates. Delivering substrate technologies for three generations of customer AMLCD manufacturing and the emerging LCD-TV application. Bocko received a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the State University College at Oswego and master’s and doctorate degrees in physical chemistry from Cornell University. He holds nine patents.

Thomas R. Hinman is senior vice president of the Environmental Technologies segment of Corning Incorporated. In this capacity, he is responsible for the direction and management of Corning’s Environmental businesses. His responsibilities include strategy definition and deployment, sales, marketing, technology, manufacturing and innovation management. Hinman joined Corning as a business analyst in 1983. He served in a variety of management positions at the Erwin Ceramics plant from 1984 to 1992 when he was appointed plant manager, Erwin Materials. Since 1994, Hinman has served in a variety of sales, marketing, and new product positions, in Corning’s automotive businesses. In 2000, he was named general manager, Microarray Technologies Division, and was appointed vice president and general manager Diesel Technologies in 2002. In April 2006, he was appointed senior vice president, Diesel Technologies, and he was appointed to his current role in 2008. Key achievements during his tenure at Corning include: * Established Corning as the market leader for the Heavy Duty Diesel business * Commercialized DuraTrap® AT, a major new product innovation, in less than 12 months, resulting in Corning's reentry into the light duty filter market which positioned the company for significant market share growth * Established and grew the overall diesel business from $12MM in revenues in 2002 to nearly $250MM in 2007 * Restructured the microarrays innovation program, and delivered technology manufacturing and business scale-up for launch readiness in 2001 Hinman, a native of Randolph, N.Y., received a bachelor's degree in ceramics engineering from Alfred University, College of Ceramics, and a master's degree from The Amos Tuck School of Business, Dartmouth College. He was an American Chemical Society Innovation Award Winner in 1995. Hinman is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors for Cormetech, a joint venture between Corning and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. Hinman has served as a member of the Board of Trustees at Alfred University since 2001, is a director of the Alfred University Research Foundation and is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Commercial Vehicle Executive Council.

Ms. Asbeck joined Corning in 1991 as director of accounting. She was appointed assistant controller in 1993, designated chief accounting officer in 1994, elected vice president and controller in 1997 and senior vice president in 2001. She was elected to her current position in October 2005. Ms. Asbeck was designated as Corning’s principal accounting officer from 1994 to 2006 and again from February 2008 to present. She will retire from this role effective March 31, 2009. Ms. Asbeck is a director of Samsung Corning Precision Glass Co., Ltd.

Mr. Hatton joined Corning in 1981 as an assistant corporate counsel and became a division counsel in 1984. He was named assistant general counsel, Specialty Materials in May 1993, and director of the Legal Department in 1995. He was elected vice president in 1998 and senior vice president in 2003. Mr. Hatton was elected to his current position on March 1, 2007. Age 58.

Clark S. Kinlin was appointed president and chief executive officer of Corning Cable Systems in April 2008. Kinlin is responsible for worldwide production, development and sales of optical fiber cable, hardware and equipment, as well as select copper products, including the broadband coaxial interconnect systems of Corning Gilbert. Kinlin joined Corning in 1981, working in the Specialty Materials’ Sales and Marketing organization. He subsequently led several projects in Strategic Planning focused on Corning’s expanding interests in Japan and Asia. From 1985-1995, Kinlin led the commercial entry of the telecommunications business into Japan and China as director, Latin America/Asia Pacific, ultimately leading the division’s North America Sales and Marketing team. In 1995, Kinlin joined Corning Consumer Products where he helped to execute the sale of the division to KKR and then accepted the position of senior vice president, Sales and Marketing, of the new company, World Kitchen Inc. In 2000, Kinlin was named president, Corning International Corporation and was responsible for directing the company’s global export activities. His international experience led to his appointment as general manager for Greater China in 2003. In this role, he led the growth of Corning’s businesses in China and established a strong corporate operating platform. In April 2007, he was named chief operating officer, Corning Cable Systems, with responsibility for global sales and marketing, as well as global operations. Kinlin is a director of the National Bureau of Asian Research and is on the board of governors of the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai. He received his undergraduate degree from Kenyon College and his MBA from Harvard University.

Eric S. Musser joined Corning in 1986, holding various manufacturing positions in the Wilmington, N.C., optical fiber plant until 1993. From there, Musser served as the engineering manager at Optical Waveguides Australia in Melbourne, Australia through 1996 (later named Corning Noble Park). Musser then assumed the position of manufacturing strategist for Corning Optical Fiber in Corning, N.Y.. In 1998, Musser returned to Wilmington, serving initially as the Tower 5 operations manager, then as the plant production manager. Musser joined Corning Lasertron in Bedford, Mass. in January 2000 and assumed the role of president, Corning Lasertron in September 2000. He was subsequently named director, manufacturing operations, Photonic Technologies in April 2002. In August 2003, Musser returned to Corning Optical Fiber and assumed the role of division vice president, development and engineering with dotted-line responsibility to Science & Technology leadership. Musser was named vice president and general manager of Corning Optical Fiber in January 2005. In April 2007, he was appointed CEO, Corning Greater China. He relocated with his family to Shanghai in early August 2007. Musser holds a bachelor's degree in nuclear engineering from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and a master's degree in computer science from George Washington University. Prior to joining Corning, Musser served in the U.S. Army’s Corps of Engineers with assignments in both Korea and Virginia.

How-Giap joined Corning in October 2002 as part of Corning Incorporated’s acquisition of the Lucent Technologies China fiber business. On April 1, 2008, he was named VP Manufacturing, GCT. In this role, he is responsible for all the operations of CSFOC, SHCCS (Shanghai), BJCCS (Beijing)and CDCCS (Chengdu). He continues to be the Program Manager for the CSFOC expansion project. Before this latest appointment, he had held positions of General Manager for SHCCS and CSFOC. Prior to the Shanghai assignment, How-Giap started and headed the AT&T Consumer Products factory in Indonesia, where he stayed for four years (1992-1996). He began his career as an industrial engineer, working for Philips Singapore for two years (1984-86). He then joined AT&T Consumer Products Singapore, where he worked for six years (1986-1992). While at AT&T, he worked in many operation areas, including manufacturing, material management, quality, competitive analysis, industrial engineering and facilities engineering. How-Giap received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in industrial and systems engineering from Ohio University. He and his wife, Alice, both natives of Singapore, have been living in Shanghai since 1996.

"Pamela C. Schneider joined Corning Incorporated in 1986 as senior financial analyst in the Controllers Division. In 1988 she became manager of internal audit and in 1990 was named controller of Corning Asahi Video Products Company. In 1991, Ms. Schneider was named chief financial officer of Corning Asahi Video Products. In January 1993, she was appointed vice president and chief financial officer for Corning Consumer Products Company and was named vice president for Finance & Administration in 1995. In December 1997, Ms. Schneider was named vice president, Human Resources and Diversity Officer and was appointed senior vice president, Human Resources and Diversity Officer in December 1999. Ms. Schneider was appointed to her present position in April 2002. Prior to joining Corning, Ms. Schneider was audit manager for Peat Marwick Mitchell, Raleigh, N.C., from 1981 to 1986. Ms. Schneider holds a bachelor's degree from Kenyon College, a master's degree from New York University, and a master's degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill."

Hal Nelson joined Corning in 1991 as a shift supervisor at the company’s LCD manufacturing plant in Harrodsburg, Kentucky. From 1993 to 1997, he held a variety of engineering and operations leadership positions in support of the plant and Corning’s Display Technologies segment. In 1998, Nelson was named manager of process technology for the Display Technologies segment, responsible for executing process development of advanced technology platforms. In 1999, he was named the operations manager, responsible for manufacturing performance at the Harrodsburg, Kentucky plant. From 2001 to 2003, he took an educational leave to obtain his MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. Upon his return, Nelson was named program manager for large-size substrates where he led the introduction of the product that enabled large-size applications for customers of Corning’s Display Technologies segment. He assumed the role of director, strategic planning and analysis for Display Technologies in August of 2005 and led the team responsible for implementing strategic planning processes division-wide. Nelson was appointed director, new business development – OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diodes) in 2006 where he led the development and deployment of a business plan and strategy to drive the program through the innovation process toward commercialization. After spending 16 years with Corning in the Display Technologies segment in a variety of operational and commercial roles, Nelson moved to Corning’s Environmental Technologies segment. He assumed his current role of general manager, Corning (Shanghai) Company Limited effective August 2007. He is responsible for leading Corning’s Environmental Technologies manufacturing and commercial operations in China. Nelson holds a bachelor’s degree in ceramic engineering from Clemson University. He also holds a master’s degree in business administration from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, graduating with honors as a Tuck Scholar.

Malcolm D. Barnett is managing director of Corning Cable Systems EMEA, a position he has held since 2001. In this role he is responsible for all Sales and Marketing and operations activities in the region including locations in Germany, Poland, Spain, Turkey and the UK. Barnett began his career in cable technology with BICC Communications, where he held a number of successively responsible positions in R&D, sales and management. With Corning Incorporated’s acquisition of the company in 1999, he accepted the role of managing director for Corning Cables Limited. In 2000, Barnett became senior vice president, sales and marketing, Corning Cable Systems EU, a position he held until 2001 when he accepted his current role. Barnett led the effort to win the majority of Pan European long haul LEAF™ networks deployed in the 1999 to 2001 period. Under his leadership, Corning Cable Systems EMEA has transformed its operations in Europe, locating most of its manufacturing and commercial resources to optimize economies of scale. Barnett continues to build on Corning Cable Systems EMEA’s initial successes, leveraging the organization’s ongoing focus on customers and total quality. In May 2007 Barnett was additionally appointed leader of the Global Strategic Growth Group, formed to address worldwide opportunities outside Corning Cable Systems current market segments. Barnett completed his undergraduate studies at Victoria College, Jersey, Channel Islands and is an honors graduate of the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology, Manchester, UK. From 1997 to 1999 he served as a visiting professor of technology management at John Moores University, Liverpool, UK.

Michael D. Genovese has served as senior vice president and managing director, Americas Commercial for Corning Cable Systems since 2004. In this role, he leads Corning Cable Systems sales and marketing operations and activities for North and South America. His specific areas of responsibility include leadership of the Americas Sales and Marketing organization, Engineering Services, the Americas Customer Service group, and Quality for the global division. Genovese joined Corning Cable Systems (Siecor Corporation) in 1984 as a project engineer in Hickory, N.C.. Following a number of leadership roles in engineering, product-line management, and marketing, he was appointed senior vice president and general manager of Corning Cable Systems’ Global Cable Operations in 2000. Since becoming the Americas commercial leader, Genovese has established strong relationships with leading telecommunications’ companies and executives. Genovese’s broad experience enables him to leverage both his operations and commercial expertise to identify emerging customer needs and to ensure the successful commercialization of Corning’s innovative solutions. Under his leadership, Corning Cable Systems has successfully deployed its fiber-to-the-home solutions as well as broadened its position in the original equipment manufacturing (OEM) and private networks telecommunications segments in the Americas. Genovese earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Penn State University. Prior to joining Corning, he served in the United States Navy as a nuclear submarine warfare officer. Additionally, Genovese is involved in the Penn State Alumni Association and serves as president of Bakers Mountain Homeowners Association in Hickory, N.C.

Mr. Cummings joined GSC Group in 2002 and is currently a Senior Managing Director, Chairman of the Risk & Conflicts Committee and the Valuation Committee and a member of the firm management committee. Mr. Cummings is a former member of the GSC Advisory Board. For the prior 28 years, Mr. Cummings was with Goldman, Sachs & Co., where he was a member of the Corporate Finance Department, advising corporate clients on financing, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic financial issues. Mr. Cummings was named a Partner of Goldman, Sachs & Co. in 1986. Mr. Cummings retired in 1998 and was retained as an Advisory Director by Goldman, Sachs & Co. to work with certain clients on a variety of banking matters. Mr. Cummings is a director of ATSI Holdings, GSC Capital Corp., Precision Partners Inc., RR Donnelley and Sons Co., Corning Inc., Viasystems Group Inc., and a member of the Board of Trustees of Union College. Mr. Cummings graduated from Union College with a B.A. degree and from the University of Chicago with a M.B.A. degree.

Dr. Jeffrey L. Mooney is commercial technology director for Corning Life Sciences (CLS). He has held this position since July of 2003. His primary responsibilities include developing and executing the business technology roadmap and intellectual property strategy for CLS. Mooney joined Corning in June of 2000 as business technology manager in the Corning Microarray Technologies business, where he was responsible for assessing and developing product concepts and technologies for genomics, proteomics and advanced life sciences. He was appointed to program director, Advanced Life Sciences in April 2002. Throughout his tenure at Corning, Mooney’s first-hand pharmaceutical industry experience and knowledge have contributed to a number of achievements. Key milestones under his leadership include: * Developing the biophotonics roadmap * Playing an instrumental role in the early commercialization efforts of the Epic® System * Developing a cells solution strategy and roadmap, including the establishment of a key partnership with an industry leader Prior to joining Corning, Mooney was the head of microarrays, department of molecular biology, SmithKline Beecham Pharmaceuticals R&D. His responsibilities included the design, development and implementation of platform technologies for high throughput gene expression analysis and full length gene cloning. Mooney was responsible for the successful in-house development of both nylon macroarrays and glass microarrays. Integrating these technologies into the drug discovery and validation process, and coordinating informatic systems was also a key initiative. Mooney has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in biology from Gettysburg College and Villanova University respectively, and an M.A. Ph.D. in biology from Temple University. He has over 50 patents and 15 publications relating to genes essential for growth, microarrays, high throughput cDNA cloning and sequencing. Mooney is on the Scientific Advisory Board for NewYork MedTech and a member of the Analytical and Life Science Systems Association (ALSSA).

Kathy Rauch is a founder and principal in The Satori Group, LLC, a women-owned business consulting company established in 2000 to help clients identify, evaluate and effectively communicate their value to target markets. The company's diverse client base consists of more than 20 organizations throughout the U.S., ranging from large manufacturing companies to not-for-profit organizations. Some clients include Corning Incorporated, World Kitchen, The Thomas Group, 171 Cedar Arts Center, the National Bureau of Asian Research, Ignis Optics and Empower IT. Prior to co-founding The Satori Group, Ms. Rauch was Vice President of Marketing for Salient Corporation, a software development company, where her responsibilities included the development of an integrated business plan, partnership/alliance development and start-up of the Marketing Department. Ms. Rauch's background also includes five years of Consumer Marketing experience with Corning Consumer Products Company (now World Kitchen), where she held a variety of business management positions. In her most recent role as Business Director of Cookware, she had profit and loss responsibility for the Pyrex, Corningware and Visions brands a $300 million global business. In addition to her Consumer Marketing experience, Ms. Rauch has 12 years of experience in the telecommunications arena, working in a variety of marketing and business development positions with increasing responsibility. As Market Development Manager for Corning Incorporated's Telecommunications Products division, she led a cross-functional team that developed and delivered product and services to the +$200 million cable TV market. In this role, she built the strategy that drove the Corning brand into the #1 preferred optical fiber, deploying a full mix of marketing tools. Her work was highlighted as part of Corning's winning application for the prestigious Baldrige Award the nation's highest quality achievement. Her other roles in telecommunications include Manager of Marketing Communications for Corning Incorporated and Communications Manager for US Sprint in Washington, DC, where she developed the Marketing Communications strategy designed to create regional awareness of the Sprint brand. She also has lobbied both for the U.S. Telephone Association and the National Cable Television while in Washington, focusing on tax issues and deregulation efforts, and working closely with senior Congressional and Federal Communications Commission staff members. Ms. Rauch has a double BA in Journalism and Political Science from Indiana University. She is Past President of the Board of the ARTS of the Southern FingerLakes and past Vice President of the Board of 171 Cedar Arts Center. She is an avid gardener and competitive equestrienne.

Bruce Myrick is the Board's longest serving Director, having joined in 1987. He was a founding member of the Nelson Village Dancers, and is Treasurer of the Friends of the Wapack Trail. He works as an engineer at Corning in Keene.

Curt Weinstein is responsible for the direction and management of Heavy Duty Diesel Technologies, which is focused on On-Road and Non-Road business segments. He is responsible for strategy definition and deployment and over all business management, including sales, marketing, technology, manufacturing and innovation. Weinstein joined Corning in 1986 as an applications engineer in Optical Fiber. Since then, he has held various sales, marketing, and product line management roles in both Fiber and Corning Photonic Technologies. In March 2003, he was named business manager for Diesel Technologies. In this role he was responsible for sales and marketing and led the effort to secure business with heavy duty diesel engine manufacturers preparing to meet the US EPA 2007 emissions regulations. As a result, Corning has a leading position in the market. In July 2005, he was named general manager, Corning Shanghai Company Limited (CSCL) and was responsible for commercial and manufacturing operations. During his tenure he oversaw: * Commercial operations that delivered leading market share in China, the world's second largest vehicle market * Expansion of CET's Shanghai manufacturing facility to increase its product capability and capacity * Establishment of local engineering to assist OEM customers with gasoline and diesel after treatment design-in Weinstein holds a bachelor's degree in physics from Georgetown University, mechanical engineering degree from Catholic University of America and a Master of Business Administration from Syracuse University. He is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and Vice President of the Board of Trustees for the Alternative School for Math and Science located in Corning, New York.

Dan joined the CAI team in November 2004. His experience stems from 4 years as a U.S Navy Electronics Technician working with Radar and communication systems. He holds an Associates degree in Computer Science, Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and is currently working on completing his Masters degree in Information Technology. His technical expertise is with measurement systems development using Visual Basic 6.0, and Visual Basic.NET . After hours he enjoys being the crew chief for his children's racing go karts, instructing Tae Kwon Do classes, and coaching youth football. Dan is currently a Hornby Town Board Councilmen, volunteer firefighter, on the board of directors for small fry football, and a life member of the Corning VFW.

Frank Glauner is the Director of Information Technology for Corning Display Technologies a Division of Corning Incorporated. Frank joined Corning in May 1976 as a Manufacturing Systems Analyst. Throughout his career he has served in leadership positions within the IT function in various business units as well as Corporate IT He is currently responsible for all IT activity supporting the rapidly growing Display Technologies Division. This Division manufactures precision formed glass substrates for the LCD industry. Their operations are located in Japan, Taiwan, China, as well as the United States. Frank has recently returned from an expatriate assignment in Tokyo associated with leading the development of IT for this business. Frank was recognized as a P100 recipient in 2005. Prior to joining Corning, Frank was a pilot in the US Air Force. He received his bachelor's degree in mathematics from Walsh University and his Master in Business Administration from Syracuse University.

Mr. Dalmolen joined Valletta Ritson & Company in 1999 charged with leading the company's Operations and Business Development strategy. His experience and network within academic and industry associations has been critical to Valletta Ritson & Company's continued growth over the last five years. Hans has served as the lead engagement consultant on many critical searches with a frequent focus in software, electronics, biotechnology and consumer products. Functionally, Hans has lead a number of Engineering, Marketing and Operations engagements. In addition to providing invaluable project management expertise on many assignments, Hans manages day-to-day operations for Valletta Ritson & Company's in house research and recruiting teams. Prior to joining Valletta Ritson & Company, Hans held key positions within the software and marketing industries. His expertise includes consulting and work with companies including The CBORD Group, 3M, Siemens, Corning Incorporated and Celera Genomics as well as advisory posts with start ups in the venture capital and telecommunications industries. Hans received a Bachelor of Arts in Politics, Philosophy and Law, focused on Business Law from Binghamton University.

Hiram F. Moody, Jr., Consultant. Mr. Moody is president of Wicopesset Management, Inc., an advisory firm that provides strategic investment advice to family and not-for-profit clients. From 1957 to 1981 Mr. Moody was at Morgan Guaranty Trust Co., where he served (from 1977) as head of the bank's Trust and Investment Management Group, and was responsible for $18 billion in investments. He subsequently served as Chief Investment Officer of Marinvest Inc., an investment advisory arm of Marine Midland Bank (1981-1987) (responsible for $14 billion in assets) and Chief Investment Officer of the Home Insurance Company (1987-1991) (responsible for $7 billion in assets). Mr. Moody was also a founder and director of Suffolk Capital Management, a start-up portfolio management firm that achieved first quartile performance and $1.6 billion in assets under management before being sold to United Asset Management in 1994. From 1991 to 2002 Mr. Moody served as investment adviser to the Episcopal Church Pension Fund ($3 billion), implementing a major and successful diversification program. He has also served as an adviser to the Carnegie Corporation and to the pension fund of Corning Inc., and he has chaired the investment committee of the Wenner-Gren Foundation For Anthropological Research. Representing various clients, Mr. Moody has served on the advisory boards of numerous private equity investment firms, including Accel Partners, Bain Capital, Oak Investment Partners, Capital Resource Lenders, SCF Partners and Stinson Partners. He received an A.B. With Distinction in American Literature from Brown University in 1957.

Joel D. Moore serves as our vice president operations. Mr. Moore, a licensed professional engineer, joined Corning in September 2005. Prior to joining Corning, Mr. Moore provided gas engineering consulting services for Corning for approximately a year through Integrity Engineering PLLC. Mr. Moore was employed by New York State Electric & Gas Corporation as a gas pipeline engineer and field planner from 1986 through 1999 at which time he founded Integrity Engineering PLLC.

John R. Sicotte has served as senior vice president, Asia Pacific and Emerging Markets since January 2004. He is responsible for Corning Cable Systems’ cable, hardware, and equipment operations in the Asia Pacific region as well as equity company operations worldwide. Sicotte joined Corning in 1978 as an engineer Corning’s global engineering group. In 1982, he joined the telecommunications business where he held a number of successively responsible positions in engineering, product management and sales and marketing. Sicotte led Corning’s worldwide exports in 1997 and later in the same year, he assumed responsibilities for international operations. In April 2000, Sicotte was named vice president, Corning International – Asia Pacific with responsibility for regional operations Sicotte’s was a member of the telecommunications business leadership team responsible for winning the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. In his current position, he has led Corning Cable Systems’ successful equity company strategy and is responsible for business growth in the Asia Pacific region. He received a bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering from the University of Rhode Island, Kingston and an MBA from Syracuse University. Sicotte is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the International Wire and Cable Symposium and represents Corning as board member on several of its joint venture companies.

Williamsport, PAa "Larson Design Group an engineering, architectural and surveying company, with offices in Bloomsburg and Corning, NY has announced that Karl Matz, P.E. has joined LDG as Project Manager in the Civil Engineering Department.

Kevin and his wife, Ellen, are the proud new owners of Perfect Image. Kevin has over 25 years of broad professional experience primarily in Marketing, but also including Sales, Brand Management, and Strategic Planning. His experience from the corporate world includes Corning, Rubbermaid, and Springs Industries (now Springs Global), along with more recent experience in the print world with Holt Sublimation. He is eager to offer that experience for the benefit of his clients and prospects at Perfect Image. Kevin and Ellen have lived in Charlotte for 11 years, where they've raised three children ages from 23, 20, and 15. As a family, they enjoy gathering around the dining room table for one of El's signature Italian dishes. And when he can be pulled away, Kevin enjoys tennis (working off that dinner!), travel, history, and gardening.

Larry Baum grew up in the Ithaca area moving here from a family farm in Genoa, NY at age 7. He attended the Ithaca schools and Cornell University graduating with a degree in Communications in 1972. After working outside Ithaca for a bit over a year, Larry returned to Ithaca and worked as a photojournalist and writer till 1978. In 1978, Larry and a partner bootstrapped a company that created small business accounting computer programs, rented time on large computers and provided installation and support services to small businesses and organizations. So began The Computing Center. The business started in his mother's house in downtown Ithaca. The company has grown quite a bit since then and now having over two dozen employees, providing computer systems, networking products, technical services, systems consulting, training and support throughout southern central New York. Larry serves as Chairman and CEO of the company. Larry's outside activities are many and varied. He has been involved with the Tompkins County Chamber of Commerce as a board member for since 1994 and as its board president in 2002. He is currently on the Boards of Directors of Tompkins County Area Development, Tompkins - Cortland Community College Foundation, and Wings of Eagles Museum at the Elmira-Corning Airport. He is an active member of the Tompkins County Air-Services Taskforce and the Cornell University Entrepreneurial and Personal Enterprise Council. Larry has served on the Board of the Tompkins Foundation since 1998 and was Board President from 2002-2004. Larry is avid pilot and has been flying for nearly thirty years. He is active in boating, photography, and has traveled extensively. He has been married to Trudy for over 22 years and has two sons, Brian, a graduate of RPI and Ari, just completing his freshman year at Cornell University.

Under the direction of Mike Stieghorst, Magaw has steadily become one of the most respected structured cable/ communications installers in the State of Wisconsin. Mike has been with Magaw since 1988 and has carefully assembled a qualified, professional staff of Project Managers and Installers capable of handling any size or scope of communication installation project. Mike is certified by Corning in Design of Passive Optical Fiber Networks, by Ortronics for Fiber and Copper. He is a certified Hubbell and ADC / Krone Technician. Mike is a memeber of Metropolitan Builders Association as a Certified Building Professional.

Paul has more than 20 of experience in the injection molding industry. He has extensive expertise in Medical Device field having worked for Corning, Tyco, and Smith & Nephew and most recently worked at Accutech Plastics has their VP of Engineering prior to joining Cowan Plastics. Paul has a BS and MS in Engineering and is the holder of two US patents. He has an excellent track record in creating unique solutions to the most difficult and challenging plastic injection molding programs for the Healthcare, Consumer, and the Industrial Electronics Industry. Additionally, Paul was an Adjunct instructor teaching introductory Plastics injection molding courses at the Nypro institute for Fitchburg State College for five years.

Prior to founding Strategy Engine, Dr. Burnell was a managing partner of Vantage Point Associates, a New York based strategy consulting firm. He has more than 15 years of international consulting experience, including management, strategy, and media work for clients including, BHP, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Caterpillar, Corning Incorporated, Exxon, ICI, Johnson & Johnson, Specialty Minerals, and the Australian Environment and Defense Departments. Stephen holds a B.Sc. (Hons.) from Flinders University and a Ph.D from the University of Sydney (Australia).

Van Campbell joined Corning Incorporated of New York in 1964 as a financial analyst, rising through the company ranks as an executive, finally becoming Vice Chairman for Finance and Administration, and a member of Corning's Board of Directors. After his retirement from Corning in 1994, Campbell served on the Board of Directors for Armstrong World Industries, Inc., and Quest Diagnostics Incorporated. A graduate of Cornell University, he holds a master's degree in business administration from Harvard University.

Mr. Eggers, age 64, has served as a director since 2002. He is Senior Counsel with the law firm of Nixon Peabody LLP; formerly Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Corning Incorporated, a diversified manufacturing company.

Dr. Ruding has served private firms and the public (serving as Minister of Finance of The Netherlands from 1982-1989) in various financial positions, serving as a director of Citicorp and Citibank, N.A. from 1990 and 1998, respectively, to September 30, 2003 and vice chairman of Citicorp and Citibank, N.A. from 1992 to September 30, 2003. Dr. Ruding retired from active employment from Citicorp and Citibank, N.A. on September 30, 2003. Dr. Ruding is also a director of Alcan, Holcim, BNG (Bank for the Netherlands Municipalities) and RTL Group, a member of the international advisory committee of Citigroup and a member of UNIAPAC, the Committee for European Monetary Union, the Pontifical Council Justice and Peace, the European Advisory Board of the American-European Community Association, the International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation and the Trilateral Commission. Dr. Ruding is the chairman of the Center for European Policy Studies (CEPS), the chairman of the Netherlands National Museum Palace Het Loo and the chairman of the Advisory Council of the Amsterdam Institute of Finance. Director since 1995. Age 67.

Mr. Tookes retired from Raytheon Company in December 2002. Since joining Raytheon in 1999 he has served as president of Raytheon International, chairman and chief executive officer of Raytheon Aircraft and executive vice president of Raytheon Company. From 1980 to 1999 Mr. Tookes served United Technologies Corporation as president of Pratt and Whitney's Large Military Engines Group and in a variety of other leadership positions. He is a director of Ryder Systems Inc., BBA Aviation plc, FPL Group, Inc. and Harris Corporation and a member of the National Academies Aeronautics and Space Engineering Board. Director since 2001. Age 59.

Mr. O Connor joined Commonwealth Edison Company in 1963. He became president in 1977, a director in 1978 and chairman and chief executive officer in 1980. In 1994 he was also named chairman and chief executive officer of Unicom Corporation, which then became the parent company of Commonwealth Edison Company. He retired in 1998. Mr. O Connor is a director of Smurfit-Stone Container Corporation, UAL Corporation, United Airlines and Armstrong World Industries, Inc. Corning director since 1984. Age 71.

Padmasree Warrior is Cisco Systems’ Chief Technology Officer. As CTO, she is responsible for helping drive the company’s technological innovations and strategy, and works closely with its senior executive team and board of directors to align these efforts with Cisco’s corporate goals. As an evangelist for what’s possible, she pushes the organization to stretch beyond its current capabilities – not just in technology, but also in its strategic partnerships and new business models. Warrior joined Cisco in 2007. Prior to that, she was the CTO at Motorola, where she led a team of 26,000 engineers and directed Motorola Labs, with an annual R&D budget of $3.7 billion. Over the course of her 23 years at that company, she served in a broad range of roles, including as Corporate Vice President and General Manager of Motorola’s Energy Systems Group, and as Corporate Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for its Semiconductor Products Sector. Warrior’s energetic, approachable and pragmatic leadership style integrates ideas from diverse sources, which include engineers, sociologists, technologists, marketers, policy experts and others. Throughout her career, she has earned a reputation for establishing processes that tap a rich diversity of technical, business and entrepreneurial IQ to nurture disruptive and breakthrough innovations, speed development time to market, and improve the way people work, live, play and learn. Under Warrior’s leadership, Motorola was awarded the 2004 National Medal of Technology by the President of the United States, the first time the company had received this honor. Recently, the Economic Times ranked her as the 11th Most Influential Global Indian, and the United States Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce recognized her with its prestigious Excellence Award. Warrior is also a strong and vocal advocate for women and minorities in math, science and engineering. In 2007, she was inducted into the Women in Information Technology International Hall of Fame, and received the YWCA Metropolitan Chicago Outstanding Woman of Achievement Award. She has been recognized as a role model by many organizations, including the Girl Scouts Illinois Crossroads Council, Notre Dame Girls High School, the South Asian Women Leadership Forum and as a Science Spectrum Trailblazer. In 2001 she was one of six women nationwide selected to receive the "Women Elevating Science and Technology" award from Working Woman magazine. Warrior is also a committed community leader. She has served on the boards of Chicago’s Joffrey Ballet and Museum of Science and Industry, the Singapore Agency for Science, Technology and Research (ASTAR), the Chicago Mayor’s Technology Council, Cornell University Engineering Council and advisory council of Indian Institute of Technology. She previously served on the Texas Governor's Council for Digital Economy, the White House Fellowships Selection Board, and the Technology Advisory Council for the FCC and on the Advisory U p d a t e d 0 3 / 0 8 Committee for the Computing and Information Science and Engineering of the National Science Foundation (NSF). Warrior holds a M.S. degree in chemical engineering from Cornell University and a B.S. degree in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in New Delhi, India. In 2007 she was awarded an honorary Doctorate of Engineering from New York's Polytechnic University. In addition, Warrior serves on numerous governmental, industry and charitable boards and panels.
