Aubree Lundie is a Full time student entering her senior year at Georgia State University. As a candidate for receiving a Bachelors of Arts in Economics and another in Psychology, Aubree has continued to recognize the importance of educating oneself and prides herself on sharing her knowledge, and gaining the knowledge of others in order to attain success. After high school, Aubree took a waitressing position at a local restaurant. After only 6 months, she was promoted to Restaurant manager, and within a year, had become the youngest, highest paid women to become the Operations Manager of the business. The opportunity was grand, and during this time, Aubree was able to refine her management abilities, learning many strategies for running a successful business. The success that Aubree obtained in her position as operations manager was trumped by an overwhelming desire to educate herself, and in her last year of managing she enrolled at the local community college. It was not to long thereafter that she realized, running a business was not always conducive to achieving one's academic goals, and resigned from her position. Aubree attained her Associates in Science, and upon entering Georgia State had learned many valuable lessons including how to make the most of your academic career. In her first semester at Georgia State, Aubree joined Phi Chi Theta and was elected the Events Coordinator. After serving as an officer for a year, she was convinced that serving as Phi Chi Theta's president was the position for her, and she was elected as President February 2007. Since her entrance into Georgia State, she has volunteered with the Immigration Law Society, made Dean's list, and is currently involved with two research projects involving law and psychology. After graduation in May of 2008, Aubree hopes to pursue a legal career in the public sector encouraging education and further developing her voice.
