"John M. Cassaday is the founding President and Chief Executive Officer of Corus Entertainment Inc. Corus is a Canadian leader in radio and specialty television. Corus also owns Nelvana, one of the world's leading producers of animated programming and related products. Prior to Corus, John was President of CTV Television Network and Campbell Soup Company in Canada and the U.K. John sits on the Board of Directors of Manulife Financial and Sysco Corporation. "Paul Robertson was appointed President, Television for Corus Entertainment Inc. in November 2002. In this role, Paul is responsible for Corus Entertainment’s specialty networks and their brand extensions: YTV, Treehouse, Discovery Kids, W Network, Cosmopolitan TV, VIVA, CMT and SCREAM as well as Movie Central, western Canada’s pay television service and HBO Canada in the West. Paul also oversees Nelvana and Kids Can Press as well as Corus’ involvement in the international television services qubo and KidsCo. In addition, he is responsible for three conventional television stations in central Ontario, the audio digital music service Max Trax and Corus Custom Networks, which offers local cable advertising. "Scott Dyer is Chief Technology Officer for Corus Entertainment Inc., responsible for leading all of the Company's divisional and corporate technological undertakings. In this role, Scott has operational and strategic responsibility for the hardware, software, personnel and technical resources of Corus' core and new media businesses. Prior to this position, Scott was Executive Vice President, General Manager, Corus Kids. Scott began his tenure at Corus as Executive Vice President, Production and Development at Nelvana, which produces internationally renowned and award-winning children's animated content such as Babar and Franklin. Lucie Lalumiere joined Corus Entertainment Inc. in 2005 as Vice President and General Manager Interactive, Television to lead Corus Television's interactive properties and initiatives as well as develop new business opportunities. Doug Murphy joined Corus Entertainment Inc. in December of 2002 and is currently President of Nelvana, EVP and General Manager of Corus Kids. "John (Jack) R. Perraton, CM, Q.C., is a senior partner of the Calgary office of Perraton Law and has a corporate commercial practice that concentrates on strategic business advice, corporate restructuring, securities issues, contract negotiation and oil and gas law. He has worked extensively with clients in the oil and gas industry on complex business negotiations, securities matters and strategic planning. His practice, to a large degree, has involved working with boards and upper management of both public and private corporate entities of varying sizes. As well he has extensive experience in international negotiations and diplomacy in many countries. Mr. Perraton is also very active in several professional associations and community organizations. He acted as the Chairman of the Canada 2005 Exposition Corporation, which led Canada's bid to host a World's Fair in 2005. He has been the recipient of many awards in recognition of his community and professional service, including the Distinguished Service Award from the Law Society of Alberta and the Canadian Bar Association (Alberta) in 1996, and was named Calgary's Citizen of the Year for 1997. In June 1998, Mr. Perraton was appointed as the Chancellor of the University of Calgary, and in October 1999 was named as the Honourary Counsel General for Korea in Alberta. In 2001, Mr. Perraton was made a member of the Order of Canada and in 2003, received an Alumni Honour Award from the University of Alberta. Mr. Perraton belongs to the Law Society of Alberta and the Canadian Bar Association. Heather Shaw is the Executive Chair of Corus Entertainment Inc. She helped establish the company as a spin-off from Shaw Communications in 1999 and has served as the Chair of the Board of Directors of Corus since that time. Mr. Royer is Chairman of Royco Hotels Ltd., a hotel management company. Mr. Royer retired as Executive Vice-Chairman of the Calgary-based Royal Host REIT in December 2005. He is also retired President, CEO and founder of Royal Host Corp., a hotel and resort ownership, franchising and management company. Mr. Royer served on the Board of Royal Host REIT from January 1998 to June 2006. Mr. Royer is Chairman Emeritus of the University of Lethbridge (Chairman from January 2001 to July 2006) and Chairman of the Alberta “Access to the Future Fund” for post-secondary institutions in Alberta.
