At Sep 2 2007, Co. operated 488 warehouses: 379 in the U.S. and 4 in Puerto Rico; 71 in Canada; 19 in the U.K.; six in Japan; five in Korea; and four in Taiwan. Merchandise offered by Co. includes food (including dry and institutionally packaged foods); sundries (including candy, snack foods, tobacco, alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages and cleaning and institutional supplies); fresh food (including meat and bakery); hardlines; softlines; and ancillary and other (including gas stations, pharmacy, food court, optical, one-hour photo, hearing aid and travel).
