Mr. Simon has served as a member of our board of directors since June 2002. In February 2005, Mr. Simon co-founded Clarus Ventures, LLC, a venture capital firm focused on life sciences companies. Mr. Simon has been a general partner of MPM BioVentures III, a healthcare venture capital fund, since October 2001. From April 2000 to July 2001, Mr. Simon was chief executive officer and founder of Collabra Pharma, Inc., a pharmaceutical company. Rob currently serves as Chairman of Nektar Therapeutics, in addition to his work at OPX. Nektar Therapeutics is a publicly listed company (NASDAQ: NKTR) that develops improved pharmaceutical products using its innovative drug delivery platforms.
