Edouard Esparbes is Calyon's Chief Executive Officer. He has also been Deputy Chief Executive of Credit Agricole S.A. since 1 January 2004, and was Chief Executive Officer of Paris - Ile-de-France Regional Bank from October 1993 until December 2003. Mr Esparbes was born in 1944, and has a degree in physical sciences and a masters in IT. After starting out at the French Ministry of Finance, Mr Esparbes has spent almost his entire career at Credit Agricole. From 1971 to 1974, he worked in CNCA's organisation department, and then as director of the Loiret Regional Bank from 1974 to 1980. He was appointed Senior General Manager at the Ile-de-France Regional Bank in 1980, and joined the Loire/Haute-Loire Regional Bank as Chief Executive Officer in 1985.
Gilles de Margerie is Group CFO (since February 2002) and has been head of Strategy since January 2006. Having worked as an auditor at the French Treasury, Mr de Margerie held various public-sector and banking posts, including jobs at Rothschild et Cie Banque and Banque Lazard. He joined Banque Indosuez in 1994.
Yves Perrier joined Credit Lyonnais as Chief Financial Officer in September 1999. He was a member of the Executive Committee and also supervised the Risks and Audit department. After 10 years of experience in audit and consultancy, he joined Societe Generale in 1987, where he was head of central accounting (1987-91), head of accounting affairs (1991-95) and group Chief Financial Officer (1995-99).
Mr Strub was appointed Credit Agricole S.A.'s head of risks and continuous control as of 1 January 2006. He was previously development manager within the Regional Banks business line. Mr Strub joined Credit Agricole in 1977 in the marketing and sales promotion department of the Loiret Regional Bank, and has spent his entire career with Credit Agricole. He was project leader in CNCA's Control and Audit department (1982-86), before returning to Loiret as head of branches and IT (1986-90). He was then made Senior General Manager of the Beauce-et-Perche Regional Bank, which has since become the Val de France Regional Bank (1990-97). In 1998, he became CEO of the Touraine and Poitou Regional Bank. Mr Strub is a graduate of the Ecole Superieure de Commerce in Toulouse.

Mr Lenormand has been Head of Development, France at Credit Agricole S.A. since 1 January 2006. Mr Lenormand joined the Ministry of Education in 1968. He moved to the bank Monod La Henin in 1974, where his roles included that of wealth management advisor, before being tasked with setting up and co-ordinating branches for Banque Vernes in 1975.

Mr Brunel was formerly head of human and social resources for Credit Agricole S.A. He joined Credit Lyonnais in late 1990, working as head of the Business Banking group in the Hauts-de-Seine region (1990-1993), head of Credit Lyonnais Hong Kong and China and of capital markets activities in Asia excluding Japan (1994 -1997), and head of Credit Lyonnais Americas in New York between January 1997 and January 2001. Subsequently, until the tie-up between Credit Agricole and Credit Lyonnais, he was head of human resources at Credit Lyonnais. Before joining Credit Lyonnais, Mr Brunel held various posts within France's local government "prefect" body between 1980 and 1986. Mr Brunel has a degree from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques in Paris and a masters degree in public law from Paris-Assas university. He also studied at ENA (1980) and INSEAD (AMP -1990) universities.

Since 1 March 2006, Marie-Christine Dumonal has been Credit Agricole S.A.'s Head of Group Human Resources. Ms Dumonal previously managed a change strategy, training and coaching consultancy, which she founded in 1986. In addition, she had been an associate lecturer at Lyon Management School since 1989. Ms Dumonal is well acquainted with the Credit Agricole Group, having provided consultancy services to Regional Banks, Credit Agricole S.A. and LCL. She holds a postgraduate degree in socio-economic management from Lyon III university along with a masters in literature and a degree from IAE Lyon.
Patrick Gallet has been Head of Industrial Development at Credit Agricole S.A. since 1 January 2006. Mr Gallet has spent his entire career with Credit Agricole. He joined the group working in the Tarn region, before becoming head of the general research department in 1974. He was then an internal auditor and then project leader in Group Control and Audit at CNCA between 1976 and 1981. Between 1981 and 1987, he was a deputy manager at Credit Agricole du Cantal, before becoming Senior General Manager of Credit Agricole des Hautes Alpes between 1988 and 1989. Between 1990 and 1997, he worked at CNCA, managing relations with the Regional Banks. He became CEO of Credit Agricole Sud-Mediterranee in 1997 and CEO of Credit Agricole des Savoie between 2001 and 2005.

Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Intesa Sanpaolo from January 2007, having previously held the office of Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Banca Intesa from May 2002. He also serves on the Board of Directors of RCS MediaGroup and Bocconi University. He is a Director and Member of the Executive Committee of ABI (the Italian Banking Association), the Scientific Advisory Committee of the Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa, the International Advisory Board of Wharton School and the General Board of the Venice Cini Foundation. He started his professional career in 1980 in McKinsey where he remained for 5 years, followed by a move to CIR, where he occupied the post of General Manager up to 1990. From 1988 to 1995 he was Deputy Chairman of Credito Romagnolo. He then transferred to the publishing sector where he was appointed Chief Operating Officer of Arnoldo Mondadori Editore and then Deputy Chairman and CEO of the Espresso-Repubblica Group. In 1992 he left publishing to join the Olivetti Group as its Co-CEO. In 1996 he returned to the banking sector when he was appointed Managing Director and CEO of Banco Ambrosiano Veneto where he remained until he had completed the consolidation with CARIPLO. In 1998 he took over as CEO of Poste Italiane where he stayed until April 2002.

Prior to becoming a member of alliantgroup's Strategic Advisory Board, Mr. Camus was co-Chief Executive Officer of the European Aeronautic Defense & Space Company (EADS), of which Airbus is a division. Prior to his service at EADS, Mr. Camus spent 18 years in senior management positions at Lagardere SCA and, prior to that, he spent ten years at Caisse des Depots, where he was appointed Head of the Fixed Income Directorate. Additionally, Mr. Camus was designated an Officer of the French Legion d'Honneur and received the Cross of the German Merit Order. Mr. Camus currently serves on the Boards of Directors of Credit Agricole SA, Accor SA, the Institut d'Expertise et de Prospective of the Ecole Normale Superieure and the Paris Ueroplace Association. Mr. Camus is a graduate in economics and finance of Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris, a graduate in physics of Ecole Normale Superieure, and holds a doctorate degree in actuarial science from the Institute des Actuaires. As a Strategic Advisor to alliantgroup, Mr. Camus has lent his considerable experience and technical expertise in the fields of technology and R&D to alliantgroup's management team.
