From February 1995 to March 1997, Mr. Passeri was employed by Boehringer Mannheim, a pharmaceutical, biotechnology and diagnostic company, as Director of Technology Management. Mr. Passeri received a J.D. from the National Law Center at George Washington University, an M.Sc. in biotechnology from the Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine at the University of London and a B.S. in biology from Northeastern University.

Mr. Gray has served as our Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer since December 2006. From December 2003 until December 2006, Mr. Gray served as our Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer and served as our Senior Director of Finance and Controller from August 2000 until December 2003. Mr. Gray held financial positions including Controller and de Facto Chief Financial Officer at Reprogenesis, a predecessor biotechnology company, from January 1998 until July 2000. Mr. Gray previously served as an audit professional for the accounting and consulting firm of Ernst & Young, LLP. Mr. Gray is a certified public accountant, holds an M.B.A. from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College, and has a B.S. in accounting from Bryant College.

Dr. Qian joined Curis in 2001. He has over 25 years of academic and industrial experience in drug discovery, including pharmacokinetics, drug metabolism, efficacy evaluation, experimental disease model development and drug safety assessment. Prior to Curis, he played key role in the discovery of several anti-inflammation, anticancer and CNS drug candidates at CytoMed Inc., LeukoSite Inc., and Millennium Pharmaceuticals, Inc. He is an inventor on seven issued patents and six filed new patents, and he has authored over 20 scientific publications. Dr. Qian earned a Ph.D. in Pharmacology and an M.D. from the Hunan Medical University and has served as a professor of the University since 1992.

Dr. Pienta is Professor of Internal Medicine and Urology and the Director of the Urologic Oncology program at the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center. He is also the chair of the Translational Medicine Committee of the Southwest Oncology Group (SWOG). Dr. Pienta has international expertise in the development of novel chemotherapeutic programs for prostate cancer and is the principal investigator on The University of Michigan's SPORE (Specialized Program of Research Excellence) in prostate cancer awarded from the National Cancer Institute. In 2003, Dr. Pienta received the American Cancer Society Clinical Research Professor Award in recognition of his achievements in translational research. He is the author of more than 200 peer-reviewed articles and 50 book chapters.
Currently, Dr. Pienta is involved in research to understand the process of prostate cancer metastasis to bone as well as developing new therapies for prostate cancer.

Samir E. Witta, M.D., Ph.D., joined Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers in July of 2005. Originally from the Czech Republic, Dr. Witta specializes in hematology and medical oncology and practices at the RMCC Lakewood location. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at University of Colorado where he is involved in translational research.Dr. Witta graduated from medical school at the First Faculty of Medicine,Charles University in Prague. Dr. Witta earned his Ph.D. in genetics and developmental biology at the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University and at National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Witta went onto complete his residency in internal medicine at The Northeastern Pennsylvania Affiliated Residency Program. He then did a fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver.
Dr. Witta is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.

Thomas M. Jessell, Ph.D. is an Investigator of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute and Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.
