Mr. Passeri has served as our President and Chief Executive Officer and as a director since September 2001. From November 2000 to September 2001, Mr. Passeri served as our Senior Vice President, Corporate Development and Strategic Planning. From March 1997 to November 2000, Mr. Passeri was employed by GeneLogic Inc., a biotechnology company, most recently as Senior Vice President, Corporate Development and Strategic Planning. From February 1995 to March 1997, Mr. Passeri was employed by Boehringer Mannheim, a pharmaceutical, biotechnology and diagnostic company, as Director of Technology Management. Mr. Passeri received a J.D. from the National Law Center at George Washington University, an M.Sc. in biotechnology from the Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine at the University of London and a B.S. in biology from Northeastern University.

Mr. Gray has served as our Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer since December 2006. From December 2003 until December 2006, Mr. Gray served as our Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer and served as our Senior Director of Finance and Controller from August 2000 until December 2003. Mr. Gray held financial positions including Controller and de Facto Chief Financial Officer at Reprogenesis, a predecessor biotechnology company, from January 1998 until July 2000. Mr. Gray previously served as an audit professional for the accounting and consulting firm of Ernst & Young, LLP. Mr. Gray is a certified public accountant, holds an M.B.A. from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College, and has a B.S. in accounting from Bryant College.

Dr. Qian joined Curis in 2001. He has over 25 years of academic and industrial experience in drug discovery, including pharmacokinetics, drug metabolism, efficacy evaluation, experimental disease model development and drug safety assessment. Prior to Curis, he played key role in the discovery of several anti-inflammation, anticancer and CNS drug candidates at CytoMed Inc., LeukoSite Inc., and Millennium Pharmaceuticals, Inc. He is an inventor on seven issued patents and six filed new patents, and he has authored over 20 scientific publications. Dr. Qian earned a Ph.D. in Pharmacology and an M.D. from the Hunan Medical University and has served as a professor of the University since 1992.

Mr. Noel has served as our Vice President, Technology Management and Intellectual Property since September 2008. From March 2001 until September 2008, Mr. Noel served as our Vice President, Technology Management and Business Development. From March 2000 to February 2001, Mr. Noel was employed by GeneLogic, as Vice President of Customer Relations. From January 1998 to February 2000, Mr. Noel was employed by GeneLogic as Senior Director of Program Management. From December 1993 to January 1998, Mr. Noel was employed by the National Cancer Institute’s Office of Technology Development (now the Technology Transfer Branch of the NCI Office of Technology and Industrial Relations), where from July 1997 to January 1998, he served as Acting Deputy Director. From February 1989 to November 1993, Mr. Noel worked as a patent agent at Gist Brocades NV, a supplier of ingredients to the pharmaceutical and food sectors. Mr. Noel holds a B.S. from the University of Maryland.

Dr. Pienta is Professor of Internal Medicine and Urology and the Director of the Urologic Oncology program at the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center. He is also the chair of the Translational Medicine Committee of the Southwest Oncology Group (SWOG). Dr. Pienta has international expertise in the development of novel chemotherapeutic programs for prostate cancer and is the principal investigator on The University of Michigan's SPORE (Specialized Program of Research Excellence) in prostate cancer awarded from the National Cancer Institute. In 2003, Dr. Pienta received the American Cancer Society Clinical Research Professor Award in recognition of his achievements in translational research. He is the author of more than 200 peer-reviewed articles and 50 book chapters. Currently, Dr. Pienta is involved in research to understand the process of prostate cancer metastasis to bone as well as developing new therapies for prostate cancer.

Samir E. Witta, M.D., Ph.D., joined Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers in July of 2005. Originally from the Czech Republic, Dr. Witta specializes in hematology and medical oncology and practices at the RMCC Lakewood location. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at University of Colorado where he is involved in translational research.Dr. Witta graduated from medical school at the First Faculty of Medicine,Charles University in Prague. Dr. Witta earned his Ph.D. in genetics and developmental biology at the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University and at National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Witta went onto complete his residency in internal medicine at The Northeastern Pennsylvania Affiliated Residency Program. He then did a fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver. Dr. Witta is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.

Mr. McNab serves as Chairman and CEO of eNOS Pharmaceuticals. He has started several successful companies including Parker Medical, manufacturer and worldwide supplier of orthopedic and sports-related products. Reprogenesis, Inc., a regenerative therapy company that merged into Curis, Inc. (NASDAQ: CRIS), and Sontra Medical, Inc., a privately held ultrasound-based diagnostics and transdermal delivery company. His expertise consists of management and development of intellectual property assets, development of corporate strategies, managing growth, and utilizing capital markets. Mr. McNab serves on the Board of Directors at Curis, Inc. and at Sontra Medical. Mr. McNab received a B.A. in Economics from Davidson College and a M.B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Since July 2004, Mr. Greenacre has served as Chairman of Beijing Med-Pharm Corporation, a pharmaceutical company. Mr. Greenacre also has served since 2002 as Chairman of Life Mist Technologies, Inc., a fire suppression equipment company. From 1997 to 2001, Mr. Greenacre served as Chief Executive Officer and director of Delsys Pharmaceutical Corporation, a formulation and drug delivery system company. From 1993 to 1997, Mr.

Dr. Aaronson is currently the Chairman for the Department of Oncological Sciences at The Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City, and the Jane B. and Jack R. Aron Professor of Neoplastic Diseases at the school. He has been recognized for his accomplishments throughout the years with numerous awards and medals, including the Distinguished Service Medal Award from the U.S. Public Health Service, the Rhoads Memorial Award from the American Association of Cancer Research and the Paul Erhlich Prize from Germany. Dr. Aaronson is the author of more than 530 publications, an inventor on more than 50 patents and serves on numerous editorial boards and scientific advisory committees.

Mr. Tobin has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Boston Scientific Corporation, a medical device manufacturer, since March 1999. Mr. Tobin previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Biogen, Inc., a biotechnology company, from 1997 to 1998 and President and Chief Operating Officer from 1994 to 1997. Prior to joining Biogen, he held various positions at Baxter International Inc., including President and Chief Operating Officer from 1992 to 1994. Mr. Tobin is also a director of Boston Scientific and Curis, Inc.
