Kevin P. Connors has served as our President and Chief Executive Officer and as a member of our board of directors since our inception in August 1998. Mr. Connors also currently serves as a member of the board of directors of the Exploratorium in San Francisco. Ronald J. Santilli has served as our Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance and Administration since September 2001. David B. Apfelberg, MD has served as a member of our board of directors since November 1998. Dr. Apfelberg has been an Adjunct Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery at the Stanford University Medical Center since 1980.
