Steve Au Yeung is Senior Vice President for Oracle Asia Pacific. Under Mr. Kurian’s leadership, the Oracle Fusion Middleware business became the fastest-growing business within Oracle, and in less than five years, crossed the US$1 billion milestone in FY06. In January 2008, Mr. Kurian was appointed to lead, and complete, the development process for next-generation Oracle Fusion Applications, which are built on Oracle Fusion Middleware. He is responsible for product strategy, shaping all technological aspects of the Oracle Fusion Middleware and Oracle Fusion Applications development, release process, management, and business development. Mr. Kurian has been with Oracle since 1996, holding various product management and development positions in Oracle’s server technologies group. Prior to joining Oracle, Mr. Kurian worked in London, Brussels, and San Francisco as a consultant with McKinsey and Company, an international management-consulting firm, serving clients in the software, telecommunications, and financial services industries. Mr. Kurian has a BA in electrical engineering from Princeton University, where he graduated summa cum laude. He also has an MBA from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.
