World record data speed on T-Mobile Hungary's GSM EDGE network supplied by Ericsson
STOCKHOLM, Sweden -- Ericsson (NASDAQ:ERICY) has achieved world record peak data speed - 235.6 kbit/s across the radio interface - on T-Mobile's EDGE Enhanced Data Rates for Global Evolution network in Hungary. Performance, functionality and download capacity of the network was measured for two weeks in Budapest.
